Thanks for the info Z - how is the O-ring installed? Anyone got a pic?

Just uncap the Solo, place the O-ring on top of the heating chamber, cap the Solo. Insert loaded stem. Heat, puff, get high, pass&share , repeat as much as possible. Slide stem out. Repeat many times a day for a happy life.
If stem don't slide in easy and prevents the stem from falling if upside down,so, it's not the right ring. Keep trying till you find the right ring. Caution, this will make your Solo more heating efficient, I agree and support TINTEST theorie about it. Good luck!!!

Now I can understand when I just entered this awesome FC forum and old members complain about newbies asking the same questions over and over again.
I totally agree with them now. This is going nowhere. We are adding and adding and adding pages and pages of crapola and more crapola that been already explained many many pages before. It's a non stop situation.
New people would say, I don't have time, I work all day , crapola crapola, I work as well, and have a family and a life. But if we keep asking the same questions over and over again and we don't read this forum is going to get even more newbie unfriendly.
Please read rules before posting, or just READ dudes, or even better LEARN TO READ , do you know how to read?? Do you ever open a book??? I hate to be sarcastic, but sometimes sarcasm ignites people asses out off coaches and inspires action or at least some arguing but please, try to post mods or something new that we don't know already, or JUST READ WHILE YOU ARE HIGH, put those sleepy brain cells to a good use

I'm curious as to whom your referring to - one of the things that makes this forum so great is the fact that members are kind enough to help each other out without being a dbag to newbies. This forum could be very intense and even overwhelming to new comers as it was for me when I came on board in 2010. Your "learn how to read" comment was a bit harsh and IMO was unnecessary.

I do list there also, same thing there as with my biz/shipping practices. Every order from there ships free no matter what. I ship free on Mondays and Tuesday only, I will ship any other day but that cost is solely up to the customer. If you want shipping on any other day you would need to email me and we will go from there. I do so much wood work and offer a diverse selection of products that I have to spend sometime in the shop working wood. My cutoff time for Tuesday shipping is 5pm central time Mondays. I'm so sorry. I feel like I can't report someone. I prefer to be direct and explicit.
Sorry again, I come from a culture where reporting someone without that person knowing who was the one that did that to you, it's not that well seen. How do you call a person, for example, my neighbor, making an anonymous call to the police reporting that I'm vaping ilegal substances in my backyard.
I wouldn't like that to happen to me, so I don't report on others people.
In my language is called being an alcahuete, I'm sorry again mvapes and Mom of the Goons, if I offend someone with my loud mouth, but preferred to look like an asshole than to pretend to be cool and then report someone on his back...It's IMO again. They threw in a free 4 piece aluminum grinder (nicer quality than I was expecting,) a tight-vac (which works surprisingly well it seems,) and a few smaller acrylic cases...maybe for concentrates or something?

All for $160.

Zangano my friend, I totally understand what you meant and sometimes I have problems too getting some info by searching all these long threads. After a while though, and by also being a regular to a couple more forums, I have come to see these forums as a place to chat, talk and have conversations that are not easy to be held in other "real-life" places. There are other sites, like Vaporpedia or Wikipedia etc. that are designed to just give info on a subject in a quicker and easier way... But a forum is more than that I think, it's like a big nice square where people come together (with no time inconveniences) to talk about things they like or not. I wish now that more people asked questions, more people answered them and hopefully one day we can make this imaginary square a lot bigger. Never mind the thread taking gigantic sizes, we are here to talk to each other so lets make the Solo thread (and others, ok ) even bigger!

BTW, I achieved new state of vapor perfection and production one more time with the M1-D model.
After dremmeling the stem glass screen and making cuts to the stem bowl rim (8 cuts/slits, 1/2mm deep I'll say) I was getting too much airflow and the ABV was light orange/greenish. ABV was either way totally dry and crumble to dust. SS screens are .5" diameter, they tend to dome when you slide them down the stem. I was placing 2 together to avoid high airflow.
Then I tried again some glass screens I bought on my first attempt to create a Cloud alike all glass air path (aka no SS contact between herb and heating element, that gives IMO a different taste than all glass).
So, after fiddling with the glass screen, I finally find this solution that IMO works well to me...

*1.... this is all done while your stem/GonG PV stem is upside down, like being attached to a water tool, ok???,
and this is all done after dremmeling and sanding and cleaning the crap out of the stem... BTW, I always wash my SS screens and ISO them before using them, I mostly buy from LHS and they tend to taste and smell like incense, do yourself a favor and clean them before using them

*2....BTW, no more LHS SS screens, this method clogs SS screens in let's say 1 day for me, let's say 5 to 6 12min sessions a day. From now on I'll order online 1000 SS screens bag, 1 year supply

*3....place first SS screen belly facing down, makes sense, SS screen tend to dome when being slide down

*4... place as small as you can find glass screen in that little belly of the first SS you domed

*5... place a 2nd SS screen on top of that little glass screen, like a SS glass SS screens sandwich,

*6... vape as hard as you can, but be careful, after temperature level 5, things start to get a little bit hot, you better have a good water tool and keep that strong draw, because your ABV will be dark brown now
Easy mods for an easy vaporizer IMO, with very good results, enjoy yourselves

I'd like to add to this. The knowledgable and kind community here is what ultimately pushed me to pick a good vaporizer and order from one of the forum sponsors.

If I hadn't found this forum and the thread about the model revisions, operation info, and basically all of the information about the solo one wouldn't find elsewhere, I probably would have ended up purchasing a MFLB from amazon.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you take 20 seconds to answer someone's question you're helping to build the community and keep it informed.

Keep in mind, there are so many new products coming out, and so many revisions of those products, and so many accessories, it can become overwhelming to do all of the research and get it right. The response, "The newest and best revision can be purchased here, from a seller we all enjoy here, and we highly recommend this accessory," takes 20 seconds and cuts through all the BS.

The arguing and condescending attitudes do nothing productive. Just my 2cents.

Yea, PIU rocks, I got those too with my first Solo, the acrylic cases(little plastic threaded cap kind of???) IMO can be used for carry out already grinded bud. You can grind some and have it stashed ready to go
Some people suggested for ABV on the go, but on the street, I'm not a legal user, I prefer to discard all ABV and things disposable related with THC.
Man that 4 piece grinder included is awesome, run some TP on it before using it first time, wash it and rinse it in ISO, that will take out ant imperfections on the not so perfect tooth.
Works awesome IMO. I use it upside down when grinding for extra fluffy grind

I wish we can create in this forum a "Just Modifications and Custom Setups" where you can post your mods., explain how-to and use, with words, photos or videos in every vape and water tool on topic, like a secondary inside thread, makes sense???? or I'm just again
But just the post and to the point, no I like more than this or that or crapola, just to the point, and It would be more than awesome that would be without comments of others if they like it or not, that's would be this thread for, for arguing and me complaining jajaja. It would be really awesome to have a straight to the point modifications page to avoid many problems, like the one I created, and people would find easy and fast info without reading
It would be an awesome secondary thread because only Mods will be able to manage and correct any info or mishapes, block, deny, correct, delete etc etc etc, what do you think guys/mods??

I think we can all get along and enjoy our vapes together. This is a place where we can be ourselves and chat with those all over the world that share the same interest. Whether you vape purely for medicinal purposes or to get f*cked up for fun this is the one place where there's always someone willing to chat about something that most of my friends consider boring. When I stumbled upon this forum I was so happy that I finally found people that didn't fault me for being a "weed geek" or didn't ridicule me for talking about my "so called vape toys" - you're cool with me Zangano - we are all entitled to have a bad day...just keep the good solo advice coming and we'll call it even bro! Okay, so I'm having trouble getting the glass stems to fit. The potpurri bowl fits snug, but I'm afraid to break the stems. Suggestions?
