I must admit I’ve never hit a bong with no water in it, I think the water definitely cools the vapor and I’m using a diffuser which I guess also helps further. Also really is cool that we can creat our own results with little techniques here and there to achieve very different results, great devices that’s why there my favourite Vapes.

Same as me bud, although I don’t heat while hitting, heat low on the cap that’s the way. Here’s my avb after 2 hit thru the 250ml bong and the famous late clicker cap. Sorry bad lighting it’s a more an even dark brown, looks more black in this pic.

Aye, if I’m vaping thru water I always have it 100% closed to get denser Vapor.

I ended up using the tip over the condenser and a q-tip to help position it. The half bowl is tricky but once you get it once and know the feel of when it clicks in, you'll get it really easy after that. Like they say, the first time is always the most awkward.

Agreed it can be a fiddly little bastard setting a half bowl, but ive never been beaten yet

I just gave up with the ccd, hoping out of place emptying the bowl, or when it shrinks/warps and don't fit, I just vape twice my dose and get way baked still feels like a victory

when I stopped vaping for a few months and went back to it a full bowl was to much, that is the only time I used the half bowl (used to laugh at it till that momment), till my tolerance was back to normal, now it’s full bowl all the time, cram as much bud in a humanly possible without restricting draw. Also I’ve never had a ccd shrink, every time I clean I remove the ccd and flatten it straight an re insert it. And 2 doses are better than 1.

I have weak weed for that, I like 1:2 thc:cbd varieties and here in Canada those usually top out at 5% thc 10% cbd. that hit I posted this afternoon was one of those strains in the bowl. night time is another story, my best weed tops out at 31%thc.

Aye if you know where to look you can get pretty good stuff here (I’ve still seen plenty of shite bud floating about too that the younger ones will still smoke, I wouldnt), got way better over the years thankfully, back in the day there was only hash here, then bud finally came, still tho legal would be nice as would knowing the thc content, our government still uses the misuse of drugs act 1971, alots changed since then but not our country’s stance on weed, bastards.

I have a number of tools that make it pretty easy, including a steel rod and the Reload with it built in CCD setter. I nearly always use a partial bowl setting on my VC tips.

Do some of you use a low temp cap in an IH ?
I bought a low temp cap recently to use with 21 vong tip and my fluxer flite but i'm not getting low temps extraction at all I think.
I can cash a full bowl in 2 heat cycle and the AVB is super dark.

The top pile of AVB is the result of using an old regular cap, I got with a ti woody around 2019. No serial number or anything written on it except the brand.
And the ABV at the bottom is the result of 2 heat cycles with the low temp cap.
The results with the captive caps I got with the 21 vong and Omni (sold them both) where way closer to a low temp extraction.
Did this happen to anyone ?
I don't see why the cap would behave that much differently with a torch or an IH but I may be wrong ?

sorry I only use my low temp caps with a torch and they are much tamer than a regular cap, I get much more heat cycles with a low temp cap that’s for sure, maybe it could be your IH, Ah fuck where’s @TommyDee when you need him he’d probs be better help, he knows his IH’s

Were you using the PWM? It's possible it so successfully delayed the click that you ended up right in the fully-baked zone.

Not sure I've tried this combo, but I'm gonna afterwhile and I'll share my results.
