Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
so many variables and you have to see what works best for you. you may never fall in love with direct to lung hits. these days most of my DynaVap sessions look like this; quick mouth pull and inhale, mouth pull and inhale, exhale , direct to lung toke till cool down click, repeat.

I’m gonna admit I’m more than a little biased towards SS for a few reasons, but I found them a lot easier to learn with than Ti. Not that Ti is hard to learn with, but relative to SS I mean

When you’re starting out you’ll want a longer window of error before you combust as you won’t be so attuned to the signs of a bad heatup or when you’re nearing combustion, and it’s also much easier to get an even and thorough extraction which will save you worrying if you’re heating it right or coming in too hot.

Even as someone with a pretty well honed torch technique, I still get better results with any SS tip over Ti. Not to ignore the many Ti lovers on here, just isn’t suited to my personal extraction style and tastes

Yeah, its the variables that worry me slightly. Im sure it'll hit me the way im looking for. I love joints for the ritual. Grinding, rolling slowly. Helps with the nerves and axiety to go slow. Thats half the reason i wanted to try the ss tip first as it will slow the process down so i can "smell the roses" so to speak.

It'll take some time for me to get the hang of, that im sure. But it should be fun getting to that point :) and sharing my experiences as well.

Im looking forward to taking a walk with the DV and stopping at a park (with no kids around) to toke and chill. I love that about joints. Can bring them anywhere. Should i invest in one of those dynastash things for this purpose? Just thought about carrying the DV after being heated. Think the stash may be helpful as well for the magnet and a place to hold it and the ground weed. Just hate the idea of spending $60 on a chunk of wood that maybe i could make myself or find something else to use instead. If anyone has one, do you find theyre worth the price?

@My_50p_worth

Thats reassuring to know. I figured the ss tip would allow more room for error, but i also worried that the SS tip wouldnt hit hard enough to catch the buzz im looking for. Guess we'll have to wait and see lol tyvm for the advice :) much appreciated

And that goes for everyone. Tyvm for the advice and help :)

Totally agree with this. I'd been using Ti tips almost exclusively for a couple years and then got my Verdium, which got me back to SS and the rediscovery of how nice they are. I wonder if the variations in IHs cause a lot of the troubles. If I had no experience and tried my aggressive heater with a ti tip, I would probably would hate DVs, too.

The hardest hitting DV setup I ever had was a 19m tip paired with an old cap and a revolve stem!

SS tips hit just as hard as Ti, and I’d argue they leave the Ti tip in the dust if you like your bongs and want to use your DV with it

@Bad Dog you’re giving me PTSD talking about that phantom second click which never comes.. the source of many early combustions that was

@coolbreeze I must say your low temp cap suggestion did warm me up to the Ti slightly and vastly improved extraction, but I always come back to the 19m as it’s just too easy to get ripped with

and always start counting when you hear a click, if you count to 2 and don't hear another assume what you heard was the second click, or it double clicked the sneaky bastard! that will help avoid combustion while you are learning.
I have your directions saved, ready to go :) when i get the parcel, I'll let you know as well so if i have issues we can talk through it. Ive been reading about those sneaky clicks that just dont seem to happen sometimes. Sounds like it could create some issues with noobz like me lol

Revolve stem? Is that one of the Simrell stems i keep hearing about? Love the look of the intercooler. Does it actually help cool the vapor? Definitely interested in all the aftermarket parts you can get for the DV. Any experience with the BB stems? They seem pretty cool for use with a bubbler.

Noo it’s a stem made here in the great UK! In my opinion it is much better than the Simrell, I sold my MVS the same day I got my revolve.

Anyway yeah it does help cool the vapour a lot. You probably won’t need it with Ti, but I find a good cooling stem is important with SS when you really learn to push it.

My mate has a BB9, great option that gives you both cooling and a WPA. If you’re not planning to use it outside the BB series are unbeatable for the price.

Here’s the revolve if you’re interested-

Yeah, it’s somewhat recent they’ve seemed to get good. Look into the Dreamwood Glow RCV, that’s the one a lot of the ecig guys like to use and gets most of the praise I heard

The Dynastashes are quite pricey, but for me personally totally a must have. Not only are they beautiful, but that magnet to let it rest between hits makes things much more convenient than you might even think. There's also some 3rd party stashbox makers like Futostash (very pretty, but cost even more $$ I think) or browse Etsy a bit, some do offer stashboxes for way cheaper (but then often comes without a magnet).

The Galaxy Futos are expensive but the regular ones are very reasonable. I've seen the XL G2s for under £30.

A new stem showed up on 4/20. @Aezhenn I love it. I’ve got nothing like it in the collection. French import Dynavap stem, so baller. Happy 420 everyone.

Im using an undated cap on my vong (i) that clicks then clicks again 6 or 7 seconds later, clears the bowl in 2 bong hits, I always wait for the second click, nice even brown avb.
