My '18-t&c needed it @Jethro :lmao:

@Demonic chronic - what is your method? Simple ISO lets a glaze of hard resins form over time. I am on my '19-t&c break-in period for a couple of weeks now and it just now breaking in that golden-tan on the tip and cap. My '18 had actual soot buildup on the inside and the outside of the tip. The cap too takes on a lot of resins that don't exactly vape off anymore. Getting a fresh start with a known device is soothing and I'm covered for the next 6 months at least. I'll ISO a combustion event but relentless cleaning isn't my thing. I found the Whink "refreshing" in every sense.

Only if you don't followup with water for your final swab/wipe/rinse. I would hate to know what Whink leaves behind if you don't do the same. I'm sure it's hell on the O-rings too.
I might start using Whink to clean my Dynavap parts if ISO is never available in stores ever again, but I'm not looking forward to having to slap on latex gloves just to clean my VC.
EDIT - actually Amazon has 99% iso in stock.

Fuck no, Whink is nothing to fuck around with! But fucking clean is fucking clean. Hc probably wouldn't touch the o-rings but in the vane of making sure all the HC is removed with the neutralizer, you want everything stripped including removing the CCD. It simply isn't practical to do a 1/2-1g/day through one device and maintain it to pristine condition, ignoring the oxidized patina. The 'patina' I want removed is the common 'seasoning' that simply happens when you heat lipids. I'm not telling anyone to do it, but if you do, do it right. First time on the well used vape and I'm sold.

@stark1 - How do you deal with the 'seasoning'?
And don't get me wrong guys and gals; I am all for a smoky bar background essences up to a point. The point was reached at 10 months for me. 10 months for me might be 5 years for you, but if its annual, so what. What's the easiest and what's the safest to do a complete cleanse? We have a vote for Simple Green Crystal which is a very likely candidate. Show up your spit-polish on your old daily drivers. I say screw the CCD and just torch it. Perfect and quick.

dynacup is here, impressions are solid so far, it actually has a different design for the glass tube, looks like its a full tube, instead of just a open cylinder like everyone elses (apollo2, caldron, vhb, alpine), they also have a single coil wrapped on the bottom of the tube.

The tube is probably custom made and has been set perfectly so your tip is fully contained in the glass and basically has a few mm of play before your stem shoulder comes into play - meaning it cant really fall over more then like 1 degree, like the vhb, apollo and caldron there is maybe a 1/2 inch gap resting against the glass at like a 10-15 degree?

heatup is good 8 sec range for TI tips so prolly 10 secs for ss?

I will do a full pros cons and vs the other units I have once I get more use and can determine the capacity of the 2x 18650s

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Just picked up a new badder today. Smeared just a little on my 'trate set up with a conc pad in a 19m tip. Took three massive hits and now I can barely see the keyboard and having a little trouble typing. :ko: Good thing it's an indica or I'd be in a bad place right now. Gotta be careful withthins one. Love the consistency tho. Like an orange spackel or the glue paste we used to eat as kids. We all knew those kids that ate the glue.

Do tell. I could use another induction heater? @thunderstealer1337

I kno won kid who used to eat the paint flakes off in old tenaments, remember how tasty the the lead was?

Lead was so good the Romans use to add it to their wine, and their orgies. Their viaducts were lined with it. Then their
Civilization went down the drain, so to speak.

But I digress.

When is the DVIH gonna debut?

Lemme know what this cube is like ( with the same old same old module inside ) when you get it.

I’ve dome with collecting the collective, moving on to a true EDC which can be carried on your belt.

Meanwhile, I seem to have snag a no-wait Flix to see if it can be adapted into a field friendly mountain
Bike stump jumper. Yah- Hoo!

Still a kid at heart, TD!

Not sure if @TommyDee still ignores me, but could someone tell him that the tip gets shiny like a newborn tip when being treated with some toothpaste and an electric toothbrush? Takes only 5 minutes. My caps never needed this treatment, but it should work fine for them too. No need to use acidic solutions or the like.

In my experience just rubbing alcohol and baking soda will get a vapcap very clean, no buildup. I've never found any reason to use anything stronger. Similar to toothpaste without having to deal with mint flavor.

@sirwalter - I'm using a coconut toothpaste, but never picked up any aftertaste anyway. I do rinse the tip with hot water to get rid of unwanted aromas. Baking soda sounds like a good idea too, though.

Ive never tasted an aftertaste, but the mint flavoring (or whatever kind) in my experience leaves a film that needs to be thoroughly cleaned off. I find that iso and baking soda rinse right off, no toothpaste flavoring involved. You also end up with a basically sterilized tip. Either way, I think things like whink are over kill.

Your a tough mother F’er!
The “M” with CANNABIS of your choice is very CIVILIZED.
Tripping out on ASTRONOMY the earth according to many in academic establishment’s found it to be 4.3 or 4.6 billion year’s old?
Pre-CIVILIZATION is when CANNABIS was MEDICAL & not POLITICAL?
We were not born yet?
The rock floating in space is how old based on reality?
