There's a lot of real good Mighty deals to distract but I personally need good airflow so I have good hopes for this little beast.
And imagine when the Mighty+ comes with even more airflow, that one will be great through water.

My secondhand 2017 Crafty didn't crack but I didnt use it like hell either, so this new one should stay together OK.
My Mighty from around 2018 did crack in a few regular spots like my 1st Mighty, but without affecting use.
I just ordered Crafty+ from @VapoShop with 20% off so I'm looking forward to next week!

It looked a bit confusing on the SB site and didn't show discount in late stages of checkout, so I've just ordered one from a reputable EU vendor (Vaposhop NL) at the same offer and that was all simply discounted since midnight in EU I think.

Jeez the Hybrid has the sting taken out of the price a bit too!
If you happen to miss out they will likely do the same again on 4/20. And there may be a Mighty+ by then, or something else!

This could be a couple things ... could be your temp sensor next to the battery, or your battery could actually be getting too hot (which the sensor is supposed to detect).

Hopefully not the sensor as these are hard to come by! But if it's the cell, I can help you out there.

That new little disc in the center of the bowl must be one way how it works differently or quicker, and it looks like something other than aluminium.

Maybe a radiation disc or some kinda valve?
I used to get metallic taste from an OG Solo bowl (I thought) and i liked aluminium because it was neutral to me.
Maybe the material used here or the difference in heating is why some users are saying the vapor is different.
But if it tastes like my OG Solo I'll sell it again!

And we'll have to do a mass protest if they make the Mighty taste different or not better!

By heating the core with residual heat from the main heater below they are optimizing the battery by extracting more heat in the same power consumption.

How else does the same size battery give more hits per charge compare to the older crafty, since the heater is now more efficient thanks to the ceramic core.

Again this is all guess work.

Yes they are not very responsive ... but they have the best price on black friday. I already bought them a lot of vapes and everything goes well. last year it took me about two weeks to get my crafty and my plenty on black friday...usually they respond by chat

That's sorta what I thought, a permanent opening, or that it might be a thermostatic or draw activated click valve, or just something with different properties to Au.
On their website it looks like they used an old Crafty for the bowl shot. Its hard to see any disc on there.
They may have achieved the extra power by using a higher wattage heater, or simply having more available power, after redesigning to save losses in the circuit board. Like Hopper Labs have done with their next vape.

Vaposhop are at about 2/10 for me now. They changed from using DHL it seems and the tracking is really poor, they could offer absolutely nothing extra for an FC member in need,
and now people that ordered the €170/€190 ones from another good authorised retailer are getting them already.
What a sting in the tail. Ill remember this one!
They must've changed ownership or something, maybe around the time the FC discounts and presence were wound back a little.

That's exactly what they did ...
They drilled a hole in the aluminum and now what you see is the cartridge heater which is stainless ...
With this huge upgrade (read hole) the crafty heats faster, has better air flow and saves battery power. (penso eu de que...)

A few more thoughts. I’m loving the new form factor. I like to hold it back to front and tilt it back. The new heaters great especially outside.I forgot what a beast this is l! I prefer to load the chamber direct with more herb for bigger tastier hits I’m really happy it’s already saving me money keeping me off those £100 a gram Hash Rosin dabs.

so I ordered this new Rube Goldberg millenial version of the Crafty Plus (which is how I describe any vape that needs an app to work properly, two devices to operate one, and its gotta be an "app") during the big sale over the weekend, and I emailed the company this afternoon (Wednesday, not too impatient?) asking if they had an idea of when they would ship the vape since I had no contact from them indicating any activity

the response was that I may find an email in my spam folder when it ships
that was it, left me with a bit of a wtf honestly

Thank you for pointing this out - had seen the Sneaky Pete review of the Crafty+ and felt an urge to try one out, so this was perfect timing.

My first vape was a Solo II, which I found a bit too fiddly to use and the auto shut-off drive me nuts, then moved on to Dynavaps and never quite found the sweet spot with those. This Crafty+ is just what I needed - simplicity itself to use (no need for the app to get up-and-running) plus it hits hard and works like an absolute charm.

It is a bit weird how cheap it feels - the box is very under par for the price you would pay and the vape itself feels somewhat insubstantial to hold, but there is no denying its ease of use and the way it goes about its work. I am incredibly impressed with the out of the box experience.

3 years ago when my OG died on me i didnt had a solution to fix it, S&B didnt offer a repair service and only 50€ discount on a new unit so i put it aside and got the IQ... i wasnt willing to pay that price every 2 years..., after i found a way (video) to repair it (thermal fuse red/yellow problem) so i replace the fuse with the same spec (184C 250V 10A) and i got it back to work. Everything went fine but after some time the same problem happened so instead of replacing the thermal fuse with a similar spec one i decided to increase the spec (192c 250C 10A) and since i was at it i also replace the original battery to a Sony VTC6 3000mAh 20A to get ate least 3 solid sessions i hoped... now my only problem is the plastic body but fortunately i found an alternative and im waiting for that to put everything back together.
Im just saying this because my OG is still working and can last 4 sessions, its not a + but S&B won't see my money again with updated outdated vapes, they have the ability to put new stuff but are in a coma for years now regarding new and excitant stuff... still a great vape and prob this updates are overdue for 2 years, the 20% battery increase should have all the + updates and now was the time for new stuff (even if it was just for pods or cartridges).
Since i didnt tried the + i dont know if the differences are enough to get one, and i will continue to say if you dont have a Crafty get one, im not yet convinced that all these changes are good in terms of vapor quality, we know now that heater, battery and PCB were improved in terms of heating speed, more sessions and charging time but if you dont have an increase in vapor quality....is it real worth or we just buying a new Cell phone just because we want the latest new thing?
Now im thinking to get rid of the IQ and get a new portable... which one i dont know yet, maybe the TinyMight if the buzz in the end is worth but in a C+ no way, i will only give money again to S&B when they decide to work and put out a new portable device (if its good)

I got UPS tracking from them on something in Europe last year. But dont know what they do now.
It almost seems like Storz are in with all the couriers on this, and they're stringing it out like that launch to make us want it more, or something.

Mine just arrived (from a retailer) now, about a week after placing order. Maill offices overly busy from Black Friday now too?
Have it on charge now, looks cool, pick tool looks a little more flimsy, box is really small that's kinda cool.
I had issue connecting to app but it was because serial number required an "o" instead of a zero, hard to spot first!
The vape has that mild detergent or soap odor like my last few,
Might be nice if they used an even lesser fragranced variety for parts washing and rinsing.
Or maybe its from materials, or mold release agents.
Ill give it a proper wipe down and heat it soon as it's charged will be good.
Retailer gave me a ginger sample to "burn off" with but doubt I'll use that.
