(German engineering indeed!).
It is made this way as S&B know the plastic breaks easily, it cannot fall over if it is already on its side, same as their Plenty...
I do not need another portable but I think I want this one as it seems to be great value since HR has kept the last sales price as normal RRP...I wonder if it will be even cheaper in the next lot of sales?

great timing , just watched it yesterday night, for him it seems that mighty is overall winner.
Wondering what is the lifespan of that lipo battery
The taste is about the same as the Mighty – not the best I've had, but not bad. Not as flavorful as my Solo II.

I find the 'signature' of the Fierce very similar to the Mighty.

Seems very durable so far. And not only does it seem to be a vaporizer that will hold up, but it actually stands up – unlike the Mighty (German engineering indeed!).

About 3 months.

Hmm now it makes me wonder, SB should definitely drop something new, are there any news in this department?

Im considering it too, one thing which confuse me is why only 1year warranty? and if I buy it in europe I should get 2years as standard at least it should be that way.
My mighty was bought about 260 new with caps, so its not that kind of huge difference (I dont know what was the sale price, can you please share this info?)
and if the signature (the ability of mighty totally destroying you like a hit of J on first couple pulls after preheating it for 2 mins then its a way to go) :D

I got my Fierce after being very impressed with the Fury 2, which I only replaced because the dosing caps were just a tad too small for my daily needs (the Fierce dosing caps are nearly twice as big). The Fierce caps are roughly equivalent to my old Haze Dual "cans".

After a 4 months of daily medicinal use (about 6 dosing caps/day = 720+ sessions ), a few observations -

1 - Unlike nearly ever vape I've owned, this one is practically maintenance free. I bought a second bent glass piece so I always have one soaking - and that's about it. I also toss my dosing caps into alcohol occasionally to clean off any stickiness that might build up.

The unit itself remains pristine and has never needed cleaning.

2 - If flavor is your thing, try lower temps. With dosing caps, 375 seems to have the best flavor to vapor ratio.

3 - If harder hits are your thing, try starting at 390. It'll hit hard like my old Haze Dual, which pleases my old-school wife quite a bit

4 - Battery life has remained consistent. It charges super fast with the USB-C. I haven't actually tested it, but I know it will handle at least (5) 8-min sessions on a charge. I also haven't noticed any drop-off in power as the batter is drained.

5 - I can make heavy loads and lighter loads in the dosing caps, and they all vape fine, so I can design my own "micro-doses" as needed, and also have caps I share.

6 - I love love love my Delta3D dosing cap loader! (https://delta3dstudios.com/fury-dosing-capsule-loading-tray/). It made an easy process even easier for my sore/stiff hands.

7 - I'd recommend the Fierce to any medicinal user - it is so simple to use and maintain.

8 - I have yet to notice a single glitch or problem, which is quite refreshing.

FIERCE update: I love this vape. Just pumps out vapor. I usually can't go all the way to my 320 second timer I set. Use primarily the bent or straight glass stems. I fill them 3/4 full, and light tamp. I'll start at 386 f then go straight to 418 f when it's time. The Fierce almost pushes out too much vapor. I can rarely finish a bowl (320 sec) and I dump it out after 2 cool down hits, cuz that oven and the glass stays hot. You can def use the same material in 2 diff heat sessions but dump it out in between, more Better for you. This is a powerful hard hitting vape, loving it more the more I use it. Thanks and Cheers to HR and all! D.

Been a while since I posted here.

Now that the weather is better I've started going outside a lot more for walks and social events.

My poor old Fierce has not seen any action in a while, because the V-Rod had been hogging all my attention. But summer is the time for portable to shine! Busted out the Fierce with a friend last weekend for the first time in ages. We went walking by the coast in very hot weather and so we really needed something to keep us nicely chilled. ;)

He was blown away by its stealth, ease of use and efficiency. He could not believe how hard it hit for such a small quantity. We were ripping it straight up on max temps at 220C for the fastest extraction. And I have to agree with his opinion, this thing rips hard.

Love this vape.

Think my friend wants one now!

I'd traded for one of these recently, but immediately sent it in for the firmware update.

This is LEGIT! I feel like it's a mighty that's in a smaller package, but with way better accessories meant to be used with it. The trade included the glass kits as well, and this just RIPS through water. I have big monster lungs, but there is no way I can out draw this thing.

It's definitely got a flavor that I'm sure will go away with use, but I only get that from the plastic mouthpiece.

So far, after about 10 bowls through it, I haven't had to stir at all. I'm sure it's due to the hybrid nature, but it's great for sessions.

Overall I'm really happy with this awesome little vape, especially because I've been lacking a good one in this category.

Just got my power bundle in the other day with dosing capsules - The unit is beautiful, has a solid weight to it (Not a con, I actually like that about it!) beautiful little display and is super stealth looking. Looks like like an e-juice vape a co-worker has. Also chucks the vapor! Really excited to have it! Fit the budget and with the dosing capsules and an extra battery, its the perfect unit.

Healthy Rips is super responsive to emails and I've read a lot of great things about them so all that is a plus.

However, on to the con... Maybe I haven't used it enough, but man is the weird smell potent and hard to get out. The first time I vaped herb with it the it was all I could TASTE, not only smell. Mind you I did, no exaggeration, over 15 burn offs. This was after cleaning every single part of the machine and the machine itself with ISO, soap, water, and more ISO. I made sure to clean the silicone piece thoroughly as well as the dosing capsules. I performed a burn off with all of my dosing capsules before loading and then did more burn offs with the unit itself. I vaped fresh herb with it once and then did a burn off with ABV on highest heat just blowing through both of the air holes to try and get the smell to mask the overpowering electrical/plastic/idunevenknow smell away. Then I took it all apart again to let it air out overnight. Did the same thing the following day.

After all of that I had much better luck and can taste my herb a bit more, but that smell and taste is lingering. I thought this was all fixed up with the new batch of units? I did buy directly from HR and did so just this month. Anyone else still have this issue? Does it go away with more use? Is it safe?

I hate to say it, but mine still has this issue as well. Everything else is amazing, but I've done so many burnoffs now on top of the sessions I'd done with the stem. I haven't gone as far as you because I suspected the taste was coming from somewhere I could not access... Your tests seem to confirm that. I went back to use my Fury2 recently to compare, with the bent glass stem as I do with my fierce, and the taste was noticeably much better. I've been wanting to post more about how great this vape is (bc it truly is), but the taste has prevented me from using it very much honestly.

Hi, We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. We have had very few complaints about our FIERCE, but we are always trying to make our products better. We do want to assure you that there is nothing in the air path that is harmful in any way. The airpath is 100% isolated and sealed with food grade silicone. Other than the silicone seals, the airpath is composed of food-grade stainless steel and glass. Please contact us at: healthyrips@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to help you :).

All the Best!

Thanks HRteam!

Yeah aside from the great product, the company and the customer service is phenomenal. I figured it was nothing harmful, because even looking at it you can see how pure the air path is, the way it pumps out the vapor. I should have made it clear that was never a concern of mine! I do wonder though, everything is steel and glass, is the heating element steel as well? Or a different metal alloy?

I've never noticed any strange smell or taste from mine since day one, and one of my friends bought one this month and didn't even do a burn off and there is no smell/taste other than bud.

Maybe there is something off with your unit?

Taste can be very subjective, which is why I was wondering what the heating element is made out of, since I know I can be sensitive to NiChrome flavors and others have mentioned kanthal in other vapes. Since the air and vapor path is so simple I really don't know what else it could be... It is very noticeable when comparing to my other vapes at least.

Thank you for your question!
Both our FIERCE and upcoming FURY EDGE use a stainless steel chamber, airpath, and heating element.

Occasionally, there will be excess manufacturing residue that requires additional burn-offs and seasoning of a unit. This is normal with production units and only effects a very small percentage of them. The vast majority of units require very little seasoning/burn-offs as @Solomon describes in his post above. Unfortunately, it does not take much factory production residue to give an initial 'off' flavor/smell - even using the very best food-grade materials available. If there is a lingering faint smell/taste - it will completely dissipate over a short period of time as your unit is 'seasoned' with burn-offs and use. We are now taking additional steps to reduce/eliminate the factory residue on our materials prior to assembling the units. This includes baking and/or boiling the components prior to assembly.

We are extremely conscientious of the health aspects of our vaporizers - we only want the very best for our clients and for the longevity of our company. Early in our material selection process, we tested materials from numerous factories/suppliers. We have found that materials from one supplier can be better than the exact materials from another supplier. Due to our rigorous testing of both materials and factory/suppliers, we are very confident in the materials that we use in the production of our vaporizers. Further, we have carefully crafted our units to have 100% isolated airpaths to ensure that there is nothing but clean fresh air passing through your vaporizer.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Yeah, I feel mostly the same about my Fierce. Everything about it is better than the F2 except the taste.

For me, the silicone taste went away within a few sessions.
And actually, the first several draws taste even better than the F2. But toward the end of a bowl, I notice a taste.. it is an aftertaste.. sort of like cardboard but not quite. I discussed with HR and when I returned for update, they did check it. But I still do taste it. It doesn’t worry me from a health perspective, but it does effect the amount of time I use it.
Using it through water is amazing though - I taste none of that aftertaste. I just don’t pull out my bubbler very often so my Fierce gets neglected. I assume I am sensitive to the stainless steel or something that I have NEVER noticed with my F2.
It isn’t stopping me from wanting (getting) the Edge when it is released, but if it does end up tasting the same, I will probably return it.

Edited to correct metal type. Thanks @Summer
