I really want this GIF to last longer. I keep watching, hoping this time I can see a little more.
It's the dab that keeps on giving :D
I'm with @roonsy - can only dream of consuming cannabis in such a variety of formats :freak:

Damn I see they have the green Omni back. I want the XL one so so bad. That green look is sexy as hell. Please stop the VAS!!!!!
Maybe Dynavap will do a flash sale on green omnis for St. Patrick's Day :myday::bigleaf:

Dynacoil? @Squibycoil!

Been a warm morning. Finally getting to enjoy this Durban poison live resin. It's nice. I'll dab all day and see how long this gram will last. I don't prefer the flavor over flowers, but this is the first strain I've dabbed. The effects are pleasant.. Per dab I've been getting two heat cycles with two to three nice draws per heat cycle, then fresh dab...

I did as @Squiby suggests and used pliers and a wire cutter on a S&B ss pad, cut and shaped appropriately. Washed, rinsed, blown out. Yes cutting that little pad produced a shit ton of tiny steel particles but once washed and blown out several times your left with ends that all connect. I left the ccd underneath and I have a piece of organic cotton underneath that. I don't see tiny shards of ss impaling my lungs. Having run a handful of sessions now it works well. I will procure a dynacoil eventually but I see now it's not a necessity, it's just cool.

Been thinking about an Ed's wood scents. I've only recently began vaping in the house. Do I need a desktop? I dunno. What are your thoughts, those who are vapcap enthusiasts and ws users as well. What Are the benefits of that log vape experience over my current, portable vapcap with ih experience?

As always, I appreciate the feedback!

This review on Ed's WS almost has me sold.

It only makes sense. Induction heating is great especially on the go, but having variable temperature control on demand is obviously more advantageous for home use no?

I don’t have a WS, I have the e-nano. Similar experience but not vapcap compatible. It’s nice—better flavor than even a cooler temp vapcap, pure convection. I find I don’t get very dark abv with the log, so I tend to transfer my abv from the log stem to a vapcap and hit several more times. WS would simplify this process—just take the stem off the log, pop on a cap and ready to go.

Woodscents is an easy recommendation. There is literally no reason not to own one if you like the vapcap system and have the funds to acquire one.

Variable temperature convection desktop with a billion extras to use either as a standalone vapcap, a convection log vape, or any combination there of both dry or through water.

It’s dynacoil compatible

Well that's actually real nice to know...

I'm a dummy, but had to hop on this really good deal I saw for an OmniVong XL... Likely just going to take the body off and replace it with my @mrb stem once they arrive, nullifying the whole omni condenser, since it's a carbless stem. I guess options are nice though.

Anyone else using an omni condenser in a carbless stem? Am I gonna feel like I'm missing something? :hmm:

It is easy to tease apart one of the concentrate pads. Turns out they are a knitted cuff. Find the end that unravels when you pull on it. Cut off about six feet, wipe it down with iso and roll your own concentrate pad any way you like. NO SHARDS.

I have no doubt Hunter S would have been in here with us, tho I suspect he would be a dabber.

Short story: Hunter S Thompson had been invited (heh, he wasn't cheap) to speak at my College in the 70s. He was an hour late and nobody knew where he was, so a bunch of us went looking for him. We found him uptown in a bar, drunk as a skunk. Brought him back to the school and he spoke to the crowd still waiting for him 2 hours after the scheduled talk. He had a reputation for this so hardly anyone had left. Good time had by all. Those were the days...
This Dude was a very decent writer!
Le Big Lebowski (dude) great film.
Dude is what we called LA Surfer dudes!
VAPCAP if you know how to be CIVILIZED?

received my flux deluxe on valentine's day. it is a 15mm coil.

i like to take the avb to the dark side. to get there i count two seconds past the second click. this is consistent with my use of a single flame aomai torch. with the torch i usually stop at the click for the first heat up and count two past on subsequent heat ups. with the fd i've been counting two past the click with every heat up.

i'm very happy with the fd. i don't mind counting--i always count from the start in case i forgot to wait for the cool down click. been burned too many times by that mistake. hasn't happened yet with the fd but i know it will.

from reading online (va, fc, r/dynavap and r/vaporents) it seems there is variation of click behavior between caps so i take all the counting, etc. with a grain of salt. it seems one of the charms of the vapcap is to learn it's unique personality.

in other words, my experience with the 15mm is probably not terribly useful but add it to your data as you weigh your choice.

i also have one of mr c's original desktop with pwm control. i got the fd for when i am away from a power source. i like the desktop a lot but have retired it in favor of the fd, even at home.

vapcap and flux deluxe, a marriage made in heaven.

My results with Live resin and the squibycoil...

Decent buzz. Nice sessions, nice vapor. All around positive results But I don't think I maximized my usage as my vc's were getting gummed up pretty quickly. Really gummed up even after a cleaning. Perhaps I've got to handle sessions more quickly so the concentrate doesn't jus run down the squibycoil into the condenser? Interesting, Alot of feedback mentioned not needing to clean stems often with the dynacoil...
Nice change though. At $40/g after 33% off I might indulge in the future. At $60/g no thanks. Whole flower is nicer imo. Rosin. I'd still like to sample some rosin though.

Thanks for the WS feedback. I just missed the 12 year 12% sale. I'm sure 420 will bring more sales. My vas is telling me a WS is a more important addition to the family then a dab press. Especially since I'm not yet invested in concentrates.

@KidFated you said concentrates and the dynacoil work great with the WS? Don't you worry concentrate will drop onto the heater?

happy camper....
Having a second evening with my DynaCoil this evening. Using it in one of my sandblasted M’s. Using two and a half year old CO2 extracted live resin from Colorado (scrupulously stored) and the flavor is just fucking amazing!

Yikes! That’s great. I found a very small white container of shatter I bought in 2015 the other day and it was still good! I’ve gotten to test a lot of different concentrates this past year and although they’re great, and so easy-peasy to use (esp. the oils) I still like the effects of flower better. :)

Hello all. This is my first post, thanks for having me... I had a quick question, I have a cocobolo stash on the way and was wondering how the lid is attached? From pics ive seen, it looks like an Allen screw but im not sure. I was just curious because ive owned dugouts in the past and the lid screw was always the weak point.
