Best cartridges for distillate

I saw it on a Riverside menu for $40 a gram. The price seemed surprisingly low for Guild, have not tried any yet but definitely going on my short list. FWIW the collective I found it on was not listed directly on the Weedmaps Guild Extracts page so you might have to do a bit of snooping around.

Cool, thanks man. $40 doesn't seem too bad for that. But for comparison's sake, how much was the Beezle Extracts cartridge you picked up?

Just trying to see if DIY'ing a distillate/HTE cart is worth it, price wise right now.

The Beezle's are $45 a .5 so you would be able to get twice as much for the same price I'm thinking with the DIY route. Perfect for filling one of these bigger CCell tanks I'm thinking. But I'm curious if you know any good sources for clean RAW distillate cause almost all of it seems to have fruit terps added.

Raw Garden carts just started releasing this week, they're supposedly distilled cannabis terpenes from their fresh frozen single source material + distilled THC. Looks like they are $30 / .5 I'm excited to try these cause that's a good price point.

Our management will evaluate your information and decide if you will be one of our lucky winners to receive a free unit.

I forwarded your concern to the brand owner. They have removed this part in the rules.
They told me until now 3 samples have been given away to Reddit users.
So a lot of free samples are still there for you guys.

Hey great info guys! Anyone know if it's possible to clean the vaporesso euc ceramic coils once they start getting clogged with waxes n lipids from rosin use? Or do you just whack a new one in?

I have actually, but haven't used the cleaned coil yet. Did it for a 'just in case' coil. I've just changed them with new coils so far. I soaked it in 91% iso in a little glass jar. Set it on top of my cable box so it would stay warm. Changed the iso several times, until it stayed clear. I totally assume I could get another couple grams thru it since it totally looks brand new.

I was using undewaxed bho. If your using winterized concentrate it should be easier to clean.

Anyone clean their CCELL TH2's? Was curious due to the cotton filter... didn't think ISO would be a great idea.

I think you have it right. Cleaning cCells in ISO won't work because there is a small amount of cotton over the ceramic to assist with wicking.

This is the advantage of using something like the Drizzle, since you can just replace the coil.

I been following this thread for some time now. I have a vape business which gives me access to many devices and sample systems.

I have been looking for the ideal Pod device for thick oils for some time now. I had decent success with the Vladdin Open and Hcigar Akso pod systems. But both worked well only for thinner Oils. After having mixed results with vaporesso Nexus and Zero Renova.

I now finally found a winner, The BBTank Air pod system. In case your looking for steatlhy device for your thick oils, you might wanna give it a try.

It uses plastic pods though, but I had no issues emptying the 0,5ml pods.

Is there a consensus on a the best pod/cart system that isn't a vaporesso (portability/stealth reasons)? I originally was going to do ccells, but the OVNS JC01 and ALDvfire seem to getting praise for their easy refillabilty and not leaking.

@invertedisdead No, but now I'm super intrigued. I may order one to play around with.

So, the Orion was delivered today, just need to go find some oil to test it with. My initial optimism is a little deflated because it appears to be yet another plastic, "refillable" disposable pod. It's refillable, but doesn't allow any coil modification or replacement, which means the entire thing gets chucked in the trash when it's spent. I'd really prefer something more sustainable, but we'll see how it performs before I make any judgements.

I do like the form factor a lot. It has a very refined, solid feel, and looks somewhat like a high end audio recorder.

Got this today. Think it's small enough?

Palm on right for comparison, same super thin width too.

Shopping trip tomorrow for suitable filling material. Here in SoCal, the joke will probably be on me, paying about the same as a cart?! Will update with results. Took a couple dry pulls to watch lights autofire OK, seems similar in pull to Pax Era. Yeah, plastic pods, but cheap

Seems syringes aren't really available in my area. Tried contacting some of the processors directly to see where I might find some higher quality oil, and haven't gotten any responses. So, I think I'll try making my own from rosin. Basically just decarbed rosin (from dry ice sift), with a couple drops of cannabis terps. I do have some MCT oil I can add, but am trying to avoid it if I can.

Got this 1 gm syringe for $50 this morning (Harbor Collective, a rec store) It actually works! After struggling, I decided to put syringe in ziplock bag, immersed in hot water, and it helped the flow from tip. (good thing there are prostate meds) Nice draw and taste, but with my tremors, the filling process is a pain in the ass. I like the form factor and draw better than Era. Only one heat setting, like Palm, but it works well. May not be great with thick home squish.
Edit: Built-in, non-adjustable, 5 second draw timeout. And, have already noticed clogging just like carts...

@ChooChooCharlie do you get clogging with the Pax Era? I'm thinking of picking one up but still on the fence with the extra price per gram. Figure it might be worth it if the flavor is more consistent though. I noticed Select is starting to fill pods too. Where would you rank the Era amongst the rest of these pens?

I guess at $50 a gram by the time you fill a cart you're not saving much. Seems like disty goes for $20 a gram in other legal states. Yay California!
