Looks neat.

How big is it?
It's pretty small, smaller than the Fog in every aspect, smaller than the Starry in every aspect too except the same wide.

Since it's so small battery life seems rather short, something like 5x3mn30s, not a lot but this is seems enough for an evening/a day of personnal use. The other issue caused by a so small form factor is the pretty short vaporpath especially since the bowl is located just above the zirconia(?)/ceramic mp, a so short vaporpath make high temp unbeareable imo.

It seems this device use a auto-draw system supposed to heat only the load while hitting the device (inhalation detection feature...), I'm not sure how this is work since there is a button you use to select t° and to power on the unit... maybe the bowl is heated only when you start to draw cause it seems to continue to heat between tokes like most conduction devices but I need more testing to be sure.

I vaped a few bowls and just packed another one adding a screen on the top of the load to prevent mp clogging. More to come....

Yeah, the usual suspects are back! Got one for review too! But where's @Vape Dr. ?! ;)
Well i am also in the boat, thx to @PPN for recommending me to Topgreen. I also will be getting that mini vista thing .
@Slagzord I was laughing my ass off the same thing first time i saw it. How about the Vonvection vaporizer they offer :D...
Also the good old Complete baking vaporizer never gets rust.

I guess keeping those prices low means no money for a proofreader.

It is one of the tiniest vaporizers i have held.
Edited.
Nevermind my previous comment on the MP. It is all ceramic silicon but there is still plastic in touch with the ceramic chamber like with the XVAPE VITAL,i dont have high expectation on this one,in terms of flavor and battery life, remembering my experience with a Xmax vital.

Finally tried this out today after cleaning and burnoffs a few weeks ago, nothing too surprising but it actually worked pretty well for me.

Medium ground cbd Maui Haze three-quarters full at 356 then 374 and a little at 392 and 410. Air flow is fine and had visible vapor at all temps.

Haven't used a conduction session vape in a long time so it was a nice change. Yes flavor gets really poor at the end, a little harsh with short paper path and the mouthpiece could get hot with prolonged use in back to back sessions.

I could think of a few ways to improve it but all in all a fine vape it seems

My full review will come in a few days (can I get a recommanded website for image hosting since my Imgur account is useless now...). I'm sorry for the delay but I was so busy lately...

I don't understand how the autodraw activation feature is supposed to work but I noticed my unit heat up even if I don't "activate" it with a draw...

But, like @Shit Snacks , I appreciate to use it on the go , I managed to handle the hotter vapor and understand better the liking of @Vitolo for extremely short vaporpath, mimic combustion more than extremely smooth vapor for sure!

Purist and medical users will not like it but the average consumer (like me!) will appreciate the low price, tiny size and more than decent performances.

I sent them my pre-review and remarks and they said they would forward that to engineering. I should post my review soon too. It's not bad overall but once again the air path is not fully isolated, and there is once again that bloody polyimide tape (AKA Kapton) around the heater that smells when new.

Apart from that it's incredibly small and portable and build quality is nice.

What really bugs me about the avant is that plastic ringon top of the ceramic chamber.. I cannot help myself but sensing the melting plastic smell. I did like 20 burnoffs and alcohol swabs. I think the draw detection function is non existent,or at least i cannot detect it yet..lol.
Do your units reek like plastic or cables ? For what is worth i can say it delivers the exact same experience as the XVape vital.

I only can smell the polyimide tape, or rather the glue on it. Been the same for nearly all Chinese vapes I tested. You know it's the yellow kapton tape they put around the heater insulation. It's very common in ceramic conduction vapes.

That plastic above the heater is Delrin I think, it should support the temperatures (although I wouldn't use this vape on max setting, same for a lot of models in fact) It was there already on the X-Max Pro v2, but mine didn't melt (also for some reason my X-Max had no polyimide smell and it was a good surprise but apparently other members had a different experience)

Of course I would prefer if that plastic piece wasn't there in the first place, just to be clear.

Hi, the Avant by X-Vape is released since a long time! That's a great small dry herb vape, vapor production is very satisfying despite the tiny size and it heats very fast and seems ready in 10s or so.

It's dedicaced for flower usage and it comes with 5 t° settings from 180 to 220 by 10°C increment. Mouthpiece is made of ceramic, no plastic.

A very good vaporizer to bring with you while hiking in the mountains, walking around with the dog or in a concert.

Thank you Mods to move that thread to the main Portable Vaporizers section.

Have fun!

Being happy with the Roffu I picked up the Avant on a whim with a 4/20 discount for fun.

Generally I'm very happy so far. I want something cheap and cheerful that fits in my pocket better than the Roffu, and this fits the bill. It's very small and neat. I thought being an old vape I'd have to put up with micro-USB, but no, it's USB C!

In general I've settled on vape usage that fits a conduction vape. I put in a partial load and obliterate it it in a full temp session to get the full spectrum from the weed. It also keeps the vaporizer much cleaner, and I never have to wonder whether a load still has more to give, or pull out and waste a sticky half-used load.

Negatives: like the Roffu, stinks initially - Kapton tape or whatever. The Roffu odor and this one is mostly gone after many full temperature cycles before use. I still wish it wasn't there, along with the knowledge that it's probably still off-gassing even though I can't smell it any more. Also the air path is obviously very short and the mouthpiece seems like it'll clog easily but should be an easy clean with alcohol. And of course the non-replaceable battery is unfortunate.

But for all that, it's a very likeable and effective little unit. If anyone takes one apart to change the battery let us know as I can see myself wanting to keep this little guy going down the road.

Glad you are enjoying the Avant. I also was quite surprised how well the little vape works, as you said, it is very pocketable.

I think it is mostly the silicone as simply leaving the offending parts on a windowsill in the sun for a day or 2 helps.

I think the silicone does tend to smell, but there is a definite strong smell from the heater. I did a number of heat cycles the mouthpiece off, and it generated pretty intense hot-electronics smells from the body only.

I ran it standing upright in the hope convection would allow it to vent off, but I also blew through the intakes to push it out (while blowing in one intake you have to cover the other, and the USB port for good measure). When running it just sitting on my desk beside me I could smell it.

The unit was never designed to run like this and may do damage by continually running flat out without a lid and may even cause the smell to get worse.
Let the unit cool between heat cycles when burning off the new robot fart smell and iso q-tip the oven between cycles is how I rock on the body of new units of any vape and if I have time, sunlight on the silicon bits.
Also, blowing into vapes is never a good idea, moisture etc
