I was always a bit reluctant to advice people to get a M as first Vapcap and told them to take a bit more budget into their hands to get an Omni. That is over now. Very impressive.

Same here. It pained me every time I'd see reddit users telling newbies that the difference between the 17M and Ti-tipped models was negligible and that a fat mouthpiece + 17M would be as good as a NonaVonG. Now, I would agree that the 18M SS tip is on par with the Gen 5 Ti. All that I'm missing is Omni compatibility, for usage with an Omni condenser or for the extra-length condenser trick (for blocking the airport).

I do want to make note that I think there's a bit of a particular aroma from hits of SS tips that doesn't manifest in the Ti ones. Any others perceiving similarly? I'd be very happy to have a Ti tip in the form of the 18M SS (but with Omni compatibility).

Did someone say that the dynavap team are able to arrange paypal payments sometimes? As the international debit card charges add a few quid to any orders from the states for me, which can render any sales un economical for me over here, dependant on the deal (it was well worth it for the new M and free tip obviously!)

Either way, looking forward to seeing what todays sale has in store.

I asked the support at Dynavap recently and they told me it was not planned at the moment. You can use Visa gift cards for example but that seemed kind of awkward as well so I just got an M18 at Vaposhop. Which arrived today btw! :D:D:rockon:
Super excited to try it out :brow:

While I agree with the well deserved accolades for the new tips, it is my singular feeling that I like the
Pure Performance, and taste I got from the OG. Sans tip.

A blast from the past (luckily I have one, or two left).

Sometimes 2 holes is not better than one? 2 much air?

Always covered anyway - I'm not a fan of the design (Condesner held in with fat MP - so both are pretty much essential? and the 2 carbs... and needing a screen. I want aalllll glass)

I think I may just try and find one of those one hitters someone was talking about a few pages ago (probably 50 pages by now...) and use that instead.

If they are working on a new ti tip I can’t wait to try one. The performance improvements on the ss tip puts it on par or better than the current ti tip IMO (bowl size adjustment is not a thing for me). It does take longer to cool down compared to the ti tip but the benefit of that is being able to take more draws in a heat cycle. With the new ss tip I can take around 9 puffs per heat cycle - 3 puffs then one exhale x3 before it clicks on cooldown, full extraction from less heat cycles, less torching and butane consumption as well.

I think because ss has a higher heat retention than ti the improved airflow on the ss tip makes it hit harder and longer without cooling it off too fast.

Here's a happy little ditty to help celebrate.

Cheers,

So, forgive me but we are too many pages without the melodious influence of our own @beyond6strings

I hope you don't mind if we take a little ownership....

Alexa apparently doesn't have a piece of you, but she did offer to set me up a Pandora station with your music as well as some similar musicians. Great little station BTW...

I hope DV gets some more double garage Stash box's I was going to purchase one or two of them, its nice to have two loaded and ready on the run

Yea I'm hoping they restock the accessories before 4/20. Things are looking pretty lean right now.

@Dynava Totally agree about the taste of stainless. Personally I can't detect much of any taste from titanium.

i thought it was just me imagining things..

but i pulled out the m18 yesterday after work and noticed the tip doesnt cool down as fast either. i find myself jumping the gun (out of habit i guess) and sticking the m18 back in the IH and after 3-4 seconds asking myself... "why hasnt this clicked yet... oh crap, it didnt cool down.."

ive not combusted yet on the m18, but very very close multiple times so far. going to take me a minute to get used to how long the m18 tip will stay hot vs the m17 tip

Are you sure it's not the cap? One of my caps takes ages for the cool down click to occur.
