Never going to happen @Summer I'm not that driven by money or materialistic shite.
All my life I've strived for contentment and I'm nearly there.

I run or rather amble thru life at my own pace and nothing will change this, plus I have other commitments outside of the vaping world which come first.

I may have to pull away from social media a bit in the future as PPWS evolves but I will never pull away from the VC community.

I love the interaction with customers at a personal level and I will try and keep that going.
I'd be stupid to say it doesn't fry my mind sometimes so I have to back away every now and again.

Back on track.
I've never been a fan of the hemp fibre and the lovely @Squiby sent me a couple of SS pads to try.

I didn't take them with me this weekend and as I was on CBD wax most of the time I had to use hemp.

One of the girls on the stall knew this so she asked me to explain and of course demo my use technique for a guy.

I used the digger to cut a dab size piece of his wax and I put it into the middle of a clump of the hemp.
You could not tell what was inside this fluffy ball which I popped into an OGM tip.

The guys main concern was the hemp burning and the loss of flavour you get using electronic vapes with his concentrate.

I knew what was coming;)

I did the spinning and heating for him, triple torch.

As we all know the first couple of heat cycles can be light and wispy which I explained to him as we made a start.

First cycle he was impressed with the flavour but concerned about burning the hemp, so I removed the cap and we still had a nice fluffy white ball.
The click came and I replaced the cap and used my, by now common, catchphrase 'and we go again'.

Second and third cycles were the same, I'm not pushing the heat for instant clouds and I wanted to make sure the SS heat soak was gradual as he wanted flavour.
Gotta give the people what they want etc, etc.

Each time I'm asking if the taste was good and I removed the cap to reveal a fluffy white ball.

'So we go again'

4th, 5th and 6th, he's looking very bemused by now, cycles had the heat soaked SS just right and he's getting some decent clouds.

I'm still asking is the flavour good and his smiling face and nodding head showed he was a happy chappy.

I remove the cap each time and we still have this little ball in the bowl.

The 7th cycle yields light vapor and I know we could eek another go out of it but don't see the point.

I remove the hemp and it's off white, 6th cycle you could see this happen, but no scorching or browning whatsoever.

Rolling the hemp between my fingers left very little sticky residue behind and no gunky mess in the centre.

The guy was dumbfounded and very happy, no idea where he went or if the bought anything but the experience will stick in his mind.

Don't agree with your premise that moving the screen to the smallest is what cuts your usage in 1/2. VC usage is cut in the same amount regardless of screen setting if the herb quantity employed is the same no matter what the bowl size. All things being equal, you use the same amount of herb no matter what the bowl size. My bowls are at the largest setting & I like it that way. I would never think of cutting the bowl size down.

Personally, when I originally got my first two VCs, I tried both the full bowl and smallest bowl sizes and found that I didn't really get any more effects from the full bowl over the small bowl. And barely any more heat cycles per load. . . And I certainly found two of the smallest loads/bowls back to back to have way more effect than one full load/bowl.

As we both know there are a large number of variables that might mean you have different results and experience with this, but it's def' worth a try! :)

I always use the smallest chamber size in my omni vong.
4-5 cycles with a single flame = 4-5 draws through d020 bubbler.
2-3 are milky

last week I tried a full SS tip chamber through water.
of course there is a longer heat up- and longer cool down time.
So the overall consumption time is a little longer compared to the Ti Tip.

wooohooo.
3-4 cycles, can't remember
three very milky draws
too much too much too much tooooooooo muuuuuuch:ninja:

@Squiby has at least one don't know what they cost.

Nope, not me. I don't have a titanium VonG. I did post a picture of a Damascus VonG that George created way back when. I don't know where it ended up but I'm sure it's very heavy.

Here it is again...beautiful.

I do have a custom Damascus body. It has a VonG like shape but it's girth is only 12mm at its widest. It's almost twice the weight of any other Vapcap.

Second day and a few questions and obsorvations. First thing I noticed was the heat. The M gets hot and this is where an XL might be better for me. I have big hands. The torch, triple torch Cyclone 2 also gets warm. Is this normal? The last obsorvation is yall getting 4 to 5 cycles. I am getting 3. I turned the torch down but maybe move farther away from the blue flame. I am hovering 1/2 inch above it now.

Thanks!

cycles depend on your grind and the moisture in your herb as well as the amount of flames and the distance to the tip.

show us your AVB and your cap

its difficult to get more than three cycles with a triple torch.
but I dont have much experience with the M's SS tip.

I let the soft outer flame touch the cap while spinning.

thing is you can't really aim with a triple torch compared to a single.

Not to good at posting pics but I have been doing thos long enough to tell you we almost combusted on our second go around. The abv was very brown. I havent gone that far again and look for the taste to tell me when to stop. If it starts to taste bad the next one will be worse. I think the answer to 3 cycles is like you said triple torch. I will keep experimenting. The affects were amazing. After having a Nano I didnt think this could be better. I dont know if its better but the affects did seem stronger. I needed that as I am a daily user that could use a T break. THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! :freak:

EDIT: I use a SCS shredder and store everything in a C Vault

@Newcastle dont hold the flame too much away from the cap.
this will very likely end in combustion.

there is a light blue flame on the inside and a darker, softer one on the outside.
bathe the cap in the darker flame on the outside.

dont be afraid to touch the cap with the darker outside flame.

Thank you both for your tips. I get the different heating zones. I think I need to work on tecnique. Big hands and all. In no way am I complaining. Just checking on how to get better at this. I am functioning off one cap this morning and thats all I need. I would do one to two Nano stems in the past.

I average 3 hits per small load in a Ti-Tip. And 4-5 in a full M-tip. But as others have said it will vary from person to person depending on torch, weed, temp, pressure, technique.. Etc.

Black ABV is a sign of burning the herb, dark brown means you win

@phattpiggie I couldn't agree more. This community is amazing. It's incredibly generous and thoughtful. It shows me that there is a place where being kind matters and where being decent to each other is the norm.

There really are good kind people in the world. And it would seem that a good percentage of those kind people are part of the Dynaverse.

@Summer I got my Black Leaf 14mm J Hooks. Wow, so much better than my cobalt blue one-longer so it's got a cooler vapor path, and they feel sturdier. And it's also fun to watch the vapor pour out of the vong into the clear glass tube.

The only problem I can see is that they're labeled for tobacco use only. I won't tell if you won't tell.

Im from California, Ive got plenty of herb + strange laws too...why wouldn't I want to cut my monthly herb $$ in half? The Omnivap can pretty easily do that just by moving the screen to the smallest size. 100% bling-free reason to own one. Don't get me wrong I love the M too.
Maybe the disconnect is generational?
I grew up in CALIFORNIA and my friends had 1/2 pound bag's of CANNABIS with them.
My DAD's side is 4th generation CALIFORNIAN.

We were by the OCEAN (still R) so work was & not necessary today. (work is over-rated)

The "M" is enough 4 me?

If you need a OMNI good 4 for you?

1/4 pound bag's were lighter so that's the size I preferred!
