@Newcastle 1/2" dia. x 1/8" thick should be ok, get some cubes, go nuts:rockon:
purchasing a few would be ideal on your VC magnets particularly with shipping concerns.

Dude. Wtf. I just bought the M last week after waiting 2 weeks because of the no video/discount week.

And now there’s 20% off or a new model to choose from?

Ugh.

don't let it get to you, last year I bought 4 M's at release and then the $20 M's sale hit soon after. Instead of getting fustrated it's a good excuse to start your collection 1 piece/sale at a time. I now have 3 1/2 vapcaps built from the live chat sales, they're all still homeless so a dynastash sale would be appreciated:D

@Helios that sends me to the company but not any one product. What size does everyone like? Is a 1/4 inch round large enough? The problem with ordering is shipping is more than the product.
Yeah, I did the magnet thing trying to find the right ones for our application and ended up deciding that the cubes are best as the direction of the magnetism doesn't matter. If it is wrong just rotate it.
I ended up getting a couple 9/16" cubes and they work out fine. I think they were these...

Let me add, heed their warning. They are powerful...

Nice, hadn't seen one of the old VC bodies I did in a while. Thanks for spreading the word my lady. I also have some really nice WS tote and stash tubes as well that I gotta list. Would be a great piece for those that wanna carry their VC or WS stem on one end with a stash area at the other for out and about vaping. Thanks again and I hope all is well.

Does anyone knows if the old caps (those with that faint, classy sound) are still available under request in place of the actual, loudy ones..?

I use two of these stuck face to face. Forms a very powerful 1/2 inch cube with the magnetization right down the middle. I have several 1/2 inch solid cubes and the VC wants to hug a corner all the time. Then take a scrap of wood, drill a 1/2 inch deep by 1/2 inch diameter hole, suqare the corners and press fit your power cube. Drill a small through hole if you want to push them back out later.

@Whissmu, George looks really happy in that pic! I'm glad he's having fun. He deserves it.

That's so cool @phattpiggie! Have a wonderful time!

If I ever have a friend to give my Ms to, then I'll get one of the new ones.

@Newcastle, go back to dynavap & add the magnets to your current order. Just put the magnets in your cart & it will ask you if you want to add it to current order.

Soooooooo
Who's gonna be first to file some airflow notches in the new 2018 M tip?
I'm quite surprised there aren't any already to be honest.

The notches are gonna be in the 2019 M. :p Kidding aside, with the increased airflow due to the double helix, you might not need to make the notches.

@cybrguy, @bizwaxzion, are the magnets so strong that when you lift the vc the cap pulls off?

I think every batch, & maybe individual caps, too, come out with their own clicking personality. Since you have to hear the click to select a certain click sound, it would no longer be a saleable new cap. Besides, all my caps change clicking loudness & timing sequence periodically.

Well for what I can see/hear, my first vapcap OG has still what I call the old cap, with a very discreet click. All the others (purchased in the last 2 years or so...) have the same cap, with a thicker tip and a louder sound... I still think they are two different designs, and the louder one has supplanted the quieter, for one obvious pratical reason: to aid Respect The Click.

I have had different experience than you. These 2 images are from the same magnet rotated to different positions. On the first it grabs the center. On the second, rotated 90° along the horizontal axis, the cap hugs the edge. Rotating along the other axis doesn't work because it just hugs the other edge, so you must rotate correctly.

I was going to send that email to understand if my theory is right... when I saw the new M. From a first look I simply saw it nicer, but then I noticed this:
a more pronounced cross hatch, so finding the airport is easier to find through touch.
and for my experience with one of my prototypes if you gently pose the finger that carving will act drammatically on the air passage permitting a better, easier vapor concentration... if it is pronunced enough. Anyway, I'm curious to hear all VCappers opinions, and I will resist the Preorder...

That depends on which tip and cap combo, but for the most part, yes. I recently got the portside mini and find that using it causes the caps to be well seated and requiring a slight nudge before they come off. My experience with VCs has been that the caps are snug - so I was in the market for strong magnets.
