i know what i'm doing after work tonight

Flower or concentrate DAB? And then reporting back? :brow:

@Morty 0.001g success! I've got pictures i'll upload later.... this one I took to 400f and should have inserted after heating lol. Very very thin wisp in the glass tool, visible exhalation under light, but taste blew and abv was dark brown.

Was this dry through the bong or w/ water ? TIA

Always water in my bong! :science:

Yo Morty, now at last I get your username- you seem to always be needing "More-T" breaks!:tup:

Edit-that would make a super cool username, and even better in real life- Morty Break!
 Nice one! This made me laugh. Good on you!
I'm currently only 3 days in b/c...

100% it could as low as .01, however I wouldn't insert after heating.... I would insert it preheat.
...I had to try it! Broke out my emergency stash of Fruity Pebbles & loaded up around 0.005 in my j-hook & 0.005 in my ashcatcher/j-hook combo. Waited 30 minutes between each hit. Conclusion...it works! And I could actually feel that 0.005 even w/ my tolerance level.

Three notes:

@biohacker I agree & disagree w/ the above statement. I agree b/c w/ a load this small & using it in a more convective manner, the hot air passes over the load & not necessarily through it. But...I did get vapor off that tiny load & the AVB came out completely tan. No browning, unlike when you insert before heating, which will give you the browning & more thorough extraction. But what's cool about loading after heating is that it seems it's essentially cutting that microdose in half. Nanodose ?

Also, when I tried this I vaped a couple bowls before (not micro) & was nice & toasty. Even though I was high as shit, I could still feel those 2 micro hits. It's like it sat on top of the previous high, instead of meshing w/ it like if I were to keep vaping my normal sized loads. Amazing!

Lastly, I tried the first 0.005 dry & the second 0.005 through water. The back pressure (is that the correct term ? :hmm:) from the bubbler seemed to help produce more vapor than dry through the j-hook. I notice this a little when vaping my usual sized loads, but w/ these micro's, it's even more pronounced.

Goddamn...the Supreme is a fucking microdosing pimp daddy!

Negative, but I have one on its way! (guessing about 2+ weeks delivery)

Good question, although I wouldn't necessarily assume that the air path goes over the coil.

Two of my all time favourite vapes! And now this! How fucking lucky are we brother???

I just realized I should have started a new thread for this one! I'll report myself! :D
Dude you must be SO excited! I would be a lot happier to see the electric Ti Supreme. It would be really intesting to see how I would tolerate it. It may still be a vape I couldn't use like some others, regardless of materials. But who knows? The Elev8r and Herbo Ti get a pass so...
Anyway, really happy for you man to realise this one dream- suddenly out of nowhere and so soon too! I gotta wait til April to get my Herbo. I hope we will both be very happy with them respectively, but one thing Im sure you might just be able to manage for me (without even having to try)...
Give me plenty of time to , to pass some time until April.

Won't be using my SV3 much anymore! But nice to have should the power go out, or even for the odd time out of the house when situation permits.

Then again, depending on how long the SV4 takes to get to proper operating temperature (my guess is a few mins, but several would be optimal), I can see myself busting out the SV3 simply for that 60 second detonation time! Always can have it preloaded and ready to go!

Either way SV3 or SV4 and you're GOOD TO GO!!!!

Almost there...

Is the S4 replacing it?

EDIT:
Thinking of possibly strapping a flat coil to my S3 and seeing what happens!

Well you just know @Morty is gonna be doing Sv3/Sv4 combos (and leaning on you hard with peer pressure to follow suit, or to go first knowing Morty, while he T breaks and raises fortunes for more vapes!)

Ha! What do you think @Morty ? Double deckers...... one for flower and one for extract? Think the experience would be better than just a standard double decker? .15g flower in one and .05 extract in the other? Hmmmm.... may just have to try this with my sv3 and nano in the meantime!

Honestly not sure what the future of the sv3 is....i'd assume he would keep making them, or at least the Dually?

Let us know what happens with your sv3 coil hack!

Let me know how this works out ... use some stainless straps to clamp it on and get rid of the "holder" so it's just the block on the e-nail coil? ... this might actually work pretty well ...

Edit: I wonder how much it would be for just the 1 piece of 4 of the 2" diameter rosin press plate set from newvape? Could use this to cover the coil that you strap to the supreme to minimize heat loss and increase transfer (that way the coil would sorta' be encased in with the aluminum block ... you only need the 1 out of the 4 pieces though!

Edit Edit: If it works out well your hack @lazylathe , then I might just build a matching block for the side of the SV3 with a groove for the coil like above picture, then strap on with SS straps.

I did shove 3 S&B mesh pads into a stem, one in the bottom two in the top by just using pliars to squeeze them a little. Made an awesome concentrate stem with just a little bit of space in the top for the dab....I was so stoked, looked so pro. It works pretty well, but there is still some leakage, which turns into A LOT of leakage if you PULL HARD. I think the trate just kinda takes the path of least resistance which is on the edges of the bowl, and not directly through the pad. Perhaps it would work stellar for small and micro dabs.

So not sure if anyone else has tried this with the 3 S&B pads, but with a bit of degummed hemp fiber shoved in the bottom, to prevent any waste, it might be great. I've been used degummed hemp fiber instead of cotton recently and find that after you think you're done, when you unravel the fiber weave you can get many more awesome hits!

This one deserves to be posted here!

I enjoy using the Elev8r more (maybe because it's a new toy) as I feel like the SV3 gets me too high and it brings me to the level of uncomfortable. I don't use my SV3 as much and only save it for special occasions when I want to go to the moon. When I want to go from 0 to 100 real quick, it's the SV3 for sure. Also, the effects with the SV3 is heavier in the brain... it feels like my brain is being weighed down and I'll be literally useless for the next hour or so. All my smoking friends are scared of the SV3 as the effects are too strong sometimes.

I've really been thinking about clamping a flat coil to my supreme v3 ... think I'm going to order one, and build 2 plates 2 surround the SV3 and to encase the coil (like the above newvape plate but I'll just build out of some stock aluminum I have and drill/machine the slot for the coil). It would be a "Supreme v3 Flat e-Nail Coil Electric Conversion Kit" ... I don't see any reason why this won't work well if I build to encase the coil and hold good contact with the block .... I should be able to dial in the temps on the coil, to see what is what as far as coil temp vs. temp read by SV3 temp probe ...

Might order a coil tonight or tomorrow so I can build this on the weekend or next week ... :)

Anyone have any ideas as to an alternative to the thermometer? Mine is shot and I've ruined two new ones trying to install them correctly.
I've been looking for something similar but more sturdy. Doesn't need to be housed on the handle as I don't use it.
My understanding on a heat gun sensor is it is wonky on metal. So not good.
Any ideas are appreciated.

I've used this in a pinch. Just wedge the thermocouple into the spot where the old temp sensor was. :2c:

Well ... I ordered a coil today! I have the aluminum and everything I need to build the bracket/clamp to encase the coil and clamp it to the Supreme ... I’m thinking the following for basic design idea ... comments welcome.

- 2x 8mm to 10mm thick plates, 1 for each side, slightly longer than supreme block for room for bolts
- drill 27mm diameter by 5mm deep hole in middle of 1 plate for coil
- put groove through plate for coil handle
- drill and tap 3 holes in the coil plate, 2 on side of handle to go each side of it, and 1 on other (not through holes for aesthetics)
- drill matching holes on other plate with recessed for bolt heads

That’s it ... then use 3 stainless steel bolts to clamp the aluminum blocks and coil to Supreme!

I’ll know how it works next week :)

So ... I spent about 3 hours or so building the above plates ... ... always takes a while to build 1-offs as well as I don't necessarily have the perfect tools to machine aluminum! (but it works :))

So here's the pics of the plates ready for the coil ... (coil won't show up in the mail until tomorrow, but when it does, I'll be ready for it :) ...)
