Hi all
I want to buy the mighty. After reading a lot of this topic and watching a lot of reviews i am settled on the mighty. I already ha a vulcano for some years now but i barely used it, but i am smoking for more than half my life now and i should stop!.
I was wondering if any of you know any coupon codes for storz bickle site. I want to receive the latest one so i want to avoid buying from other stores.
I also need a vape for my wife for very light use when she is not with me. Any suggestion?
Thank you
Hi, i was in the same boat as you, have the volcano and wanted the latest version of mighty.
I ended buying it from namaste uk when they had a big sale on black friday (199 pounds, about 225 euros). The difference in price from s&b was so big i just couldn't ignore it, so i asked them about the version and they replied it was the new one. Now that i received it i can confirm, new white box, dosing capsule inside and boost function on the unit. They still have a good price and include a glass water tool if you need such a thing.
Anyway, i don't mean to advertise this specific shop, just wanted to share my experience, you can always ask the shop you want to buy from about the version they have.

Enjoy, this thing is awesome, way better than my previous portable vapir NO2.

Biggest drawback i have found so far is it tops out at 410.
Delta WPA is awesome.

Gonna have to clean the CU at some point
I've found it easiest to have a least one spare, pop it on and clean the dirty at my convenience. I clean early to help save flavor, 10 minutes in ISO and a q-tip before a good rinse.

With a number of great vapes at my disposal, I still use my Mighty the most, that's saying something.

Good luck and don't be a stranger,

Just got my mighty from pui! It's really nice. I like that I can finish the bowl fast. How much do the capsules hold with a light pack? What about the bowl?

I can't seem to get the mouthpiece out either.. how have do I pull it

Just pull a bit harder don't worry it won't break, there is a rubber o-ring holding it and giving this resistance.
You can find many videos on youtube, search cleaning tips.
Don't know about the amounts, i don't have a scale.

capsules can hold anything from scraps to fully stuffed and be effective. one thing i have noticed on small doses is to keep the unit flat.

I thought the Mighty would vape without battery, just using the charger alone?

I use mine with empty batteries sometimes.
it doesn't completely bypass the battery, it charges at the same time.
to function correctly it needs some minimum charge though. I think 5 minutes charging from empty is enough.

Than S&B must have changed that in some firmware updates. Both of my mightys, from 12/16 and 12/17 could have been used while having zero battery. I never had to charge it before.
But you are right that the Mighty also charges the batteries when being plugged. If I remember correctly S&B has stated, that even with fully dead batteries you could still use it with the charger.

One hour before you posted I was ordering it from s&b.
This is my normal luck.
I ordered it at 9:52 in Portugal, and the site said that orders are processed until 10am. And i tought awesome, they will probably send it today. Then I checked the time in Germany and it's a hour earlier than here, 10:52.
It's a pity because I could have ordered the mighty for me and the crafty for my wife for such a small difference.
Like I said, my normal luck.
I can't complain much, I have been the last days harvesting a single plant in dwc that made my Christmas much greener.
Thanks anyway for the tip, I am sure it will be useful for someone else.
Now it's a waiting game.

Well, if they did not have shipped it yet, why dont you just cancel your order and buy it from somewhere else for less $$$ ? :)

What I am wondering about is, the straw of the CU seems really loose and not so tight. Both parts are brand new though.

When I push the straw gently upwards, I can feel and year an air stream.

Should I again open an RMA as the mighty is still new, really what would you do? Or is this normal? Can't remember ...

You're welcome, shame i couldn't be helpful in time. Seems you were in a hurry to enjoy your freshly harvested plant! Don't think about it much though, we cannot always make the best decisions.

@Faolan, if you mean how do you get the mouthpiece out to vape through, it swivels out. Please don’t pull it or it might break!
He said:"I like that I can finish the bowl fast", so i assumed he has already vaped and knows how to swivel the mp and his question was about taking it out to clean it, thus my reply.

You can check for leaks with the c/u off of the base unit. Put your thumb over the screen hole and take a draw; you should get no air, and feel the suction on your thumb. If you wiggle the mouthpiece while drawing you might confirm that the leaking is coming from there. A faulty o-ring could be the culprit, you might try swapping that out if you have a spare. Or...
In the past, when I've had a minor problem, like with c/u or a charge adapter, I have simply sent an email (no RMA) and S&B sent a new part right out, no questions asked. I have to add that this was before their on-line RMA application process was instated, but I would still recommend this as your starting point. If you didn't buy it direct from S&B, include your serial #, date/place of purchase. Tell them about the air leak that you can hear and feel; I think they'll send you a new c/u.

I did the test you mentioned and basically the CU is leakproof but like you said when I wiggle the straw just gently, I can definitely notice a leak from the hole where the straw is put in.

Can you or someone else confirm that this leak is NOT normal even with wiggling?

Thank you very much for your suggestion of writing an email first, too, that's exactly what I am going to do now :).

Here is @vapviking s method he posted 2 weeks ago, sounds good! :

You could also use a bowl and a brush instead like in the manual, or a jar or two.
I've always thought about trying it in a regular dishwasher, should be great.

Another way to clean it without iso is to warm the parts well (I use a Volcano hot air stream) and just poke some clean cotton pads around with a wood skewer or dowel.
I freshen it all up with an iso wipe at the end and sometimes follow with dish soap and warm water, but some might prefer to skip the iso wipe and/or soap.
I'm approaching two years using only one cooling unit, original O-rings, no broken CU parts yet!

Enjoy your Mighty this holiday, and have at least one full capsule! I'm having one pretty soon.:whoa::zzz:

My dilemma with this is that I really don't want the hologram coming off - it looks very classy and is the only immediate indicator that the device is of premium quality.

What do you mean use a bowl and a brush? And can you elaborate on the jars?

My mouth piece has started having resistance when I rotate it, so I think it's time to give it a clean, as much as I don't want to.

Alas!

My issues with o ring seal came from the o rings directly. When I clean my cooling units, I'll do them all at once every couple of months. At that time I use different batches of o rings I received from storz at different times. Sometimes these don't seal the cooling unit all the way. It'll either be the side o ring or more commonly the o ring portion under where the slide hologram switchy thing is. That's where the seal is. The straw I never had any o ring problems with but if it's damaged or not seated correctly I could see that being an issue too.

Alas!

That hologram slider part comes off in seconds with little to no risk of breaking it once you have an understanding of its fitment.
Or if it does become an issue, you could leave it on and use the warm cotton mopping method I outlined without harming the hologram in place.
Or you could simply rub iso wipes around everywhere inside maybe warming it slightly first.

The bowl and a brush method was outlined in the owner manual where you put the disassembled CU parts in a bowl of iso and hit them all with the included brush.

Some people felt this was wasteful of iso and inconvenient and so contained the soaking and agitation inside a jar.
You could even have two jars, one for the initial wash and soaking, and a second one for final rinse. The thinking being that when the first jar becomes laden with oils it can be disposed or processed, and the second jar then used to replace the first, further saving iso as much as possible.
It sounded good to me!

I imagine the hologram might be OK in a dishwasher too, but maybe not.

Once you find your method and do it a few times it's like tying your shoelaces, and can be therapeutic and fun haha
And if it did go horribly wrong it's cheap to replace just the unit on top.

With a number of great vapes at my disposal, I still use my Mighty the most, that's saying something.

This is true.
The list of improvements needed for Mighty 2 would be a very small list!
