I gave my OG FP to a buddy. I just have the Dnail and Showerhead 20mm wrapped versions.
Showerhead is next level. I need to up the heat a little on the Hexnail I think.

Checking in, still alive, device working just dandy, I read what @NewVape710 posted regarding heatup times and checked my setup when it was cold and noticed the bottom nut was off just a bit so I tightened it. I let controller get up to temp, waited maybe 2 mins and capped it onto my FP (ground bud tamped down well) and got an enormous rip at 640F. I am guessing 0.15gr load as it seems I am splitting 0.3gr between 2 bowls.
Anyway, I just want to ask a question because I have never kept my ABV mostly because all my flower vapes are portable so I chuck it on the ground. Now I have a jar that's filling up. I get very little vapor on my final hit off the FP, and my ABV all looks quite brown similar to what my crafty at max temps produces. Is this stuff even worth keeping? I was thinking about composting it honestly, I dont know if there is anything left?
Oh and smelling those terps when you load some fresh bud into a hot FP is lovely incense.

Lots of good meds still left in your ABV so long as it is not black!
Cook it in coconut oil for a long time at low temp and make some killer edibles!

@psychonaut I toss my AVB, I went through a phase where I was saving it, but I'm over it. I only like concentrates for edibles. Especially after trying modern edibles made with distillates - no AVB flavors!
I really dont see the herb taste as a problem. My canna coconut oil is simply the most yummy thing on the planet. If only it DIDN'T get you high and all the world's gourmet chefs knew about it.... well that would sure add a new dimension of luxury!
Honestly though, if you had an abundance of fresh bud, it would be so much better just to decarb some fresh weed and cook that. Saving abv for edibles is really about not wasting, it is not precious as gold or anyhting.
The darker it is, usually, the less actives are left and the effect will be more sedative. You could call it an incomplete plant medicine really, so for a medical user fresh buds will always be better.
But if you are mixing things up with plenty of cannabinoids from vapor etc, and don't want to be wasteful, go ahead and cook it for a free topup.
One way I look at it- if I am saving abv to cook, I can always justify not extracting every bit from it when vapor production is on the decline. And an excuse to dump sooner and load fresh.
This is exactly where I'm at. I like the idea of having it around, in the event I may want to make a firecracker, but you know me, I'd rather eat those calories in pizza. You're so right on the edibles, I make those chocolate candy melts with distillate and I taste the sunflower lechetin more than the distillate.
Aren't the ABV edibles also more CBN potent, so a bit more for evenings use?

If you water cure your ABV (change out the water every 12-24h til it no longer leaves crap in the water), THEN make your canna-coconut oil, it will have no flavor, scent, or color.

I'm lazy so I don't do all that shit. I like just scooping the (non water-cured) canna-coconut oil in empty capsules. Great for sleep. Not the best. Give me ABV farts and make me groggy. I'd prefer distillate edibles but it's not bad to have around just in case.

Yeah, I find ABV is great for sleeping. I have serious problems with insomnia at times and ABV oil is way more effective than sleeping tablets.
I can attest to water curing being a pretty great way to get rid of the flavour of ABV

Got fed up of waiting for a response of any kind on here and phoned Vapefiend a few mins ago who inform me they will be carrying the Flowerpot and they should have stock "in a couple of weeks"And UK stockist enquiries too
I'm still umm-ing and arr-ing whether to just place an order with NewVape/DHGate, but now I know it will be sold in the UK, I'm also considering the fact that I would have warranty support through Vapefiend should I need it.

I've seen Dhgate mentioned a few times....just curious why? Why not just buy NV's PID for $85? Am I missing something?

I think it's relating to the voltage of the PID.
@NewVape710 has reviewed one of the DHGate PID's for UK grid and confirmed/approved it's FP compatibility.

I’m with you @emmdeemo , 584F capping but you can see vapor forming from the flower without the Carb cap also. This was a Twax Hit . Flower & Concentrate at 584F using the showerhead , dab tasted pretty good also at this temp off the titanium. That 1 Hit got me feeling really nice.
