I really need to stop checking the Dynavap website; at least until my current order ships.
That.

...called Dynavap and ended up speaking with George (the man himself!!! :o) and he was super helpful, cleared up any questions I had right away.
Yep, same here. I was hoping for a machine and a decent responce time given the sale. Would have been happy with a minion!

I'm thinking the 4mm will probably be the right one too, but I'll wait until you get them both and try it out before I order... ;)

I can confirm that a 4.5mm bar only fits about 15mm into the MP end of the condenser. So that's why I have the 4mm on route. I chucked the 3.5mm one on the order as well just in case.

However its worth bearing in mind I'm testing this out on an Omni condenser. I believe the M condenser is a little larger. Maybe that 4.5mm rod will have a VapCap use after all as I do have an M on the way, I'll let you guys know. :)

I think the M itself is slightly larger gauge, but I'm betting its condenser tube is the same as what the Woody and Vongs use. The Omni has its own condenser because of the adjust-ability.

Added: OK, I went down to the car and got my "M", and the condenser looks like the same gauge as the condenser in the Woody. So the "M" tube itself seems slightly larger, but the condenser is the same.

Yep, last night I compared the condenser tube from my M to the one from my Ti Woody, they looked to be the same diameter. I would guess based on my o-ring airflow tests that the inside diameter of the SS M stem is slightly larger than the ID of the woody stems (hence why the airflow in my M didn't completely plug up when I moved the o-ring up)

Edit: I see you added to your post while I was typing mine up. Oh well

I own vapcap, Omnivap, Ti woody and the "M" came a couple of weeks ago, haven't tried out the M yet or Ti woody. I keep them as backups, I like the Omni alot but only use it now and then bcos the house is supposed to be non-420 even though I am the head of the house , the jet lighter noises really get me paranoid so I have to use other vaporizers to be stealthy at home and rarely using the Dynavap gear but every time there is a sale on Dynavap I jump at it and worry like hell that the wifey might open my green or purple vapemail while am at work and asking questions.
Dynavap sale is so tempting, so affordable so good and made in USA but how many backups should a closet vaper have from one line?
I know it's a little late in the game to reply to this . This thread is moving so fast I can hardly keep up . Maybe you should get with @Pipes about one of his induction heaters and you won't have to worry about jet lighter noises . I hope you can eventually reach a point where you can feel free to partake at home . Hiding things like that can give you ulcers or worse ....

Beautiful picture! I've always loved that pen clip mod. For some reason I picture you as this really cool IT professional with his VapCap in his shirt pocket, sneaking hits in server rooms. Or maybe you're a rugged outdoorsman whose collection of pocket knives rivals his collection of VapCaps.

Either way, rock on!

Just another, happy, ordinary VapCat, Dude.

Oh, and we finally received some shirts and hats! Woo Hoo.

It took longer than we wanted but they are here. The shirts are really soft, and have been well received by the crew here.

The hats are the flex fit variety.

In summary, Big thank you to everyone for your support! We very much appreciate the opportunity to come to work and do what we love.

Cheers,

George

Nice warm, sexy winter color, George.

I am hoping you will be bringing out some Spring, and Summer colors, as well.
A white DynaVap cap would be dynamite!
Blues, and pinks would be *cool*, too. :2c::nod::tup::clap:

Oh right, good to know. That makes life easier so this is good news.

Thanks guys

Oh man, last time I read this thread was on Thursday... today more than 530 messages and 21 pages later... I think I am going to have to quit my job to keep up but Hell no, VAS won't let me!

Got a shiny green envelope yesterday in the mail with an "M" in it. Couldn't open it though because I was so pissed that I owe the IRS $$$. It probably would have made me feel better, but I didn't want to taint the "Holy" moment with negative energy due to fucking Tax day. Tomorrow will be much better!

Oh wow, that looks right up my alley. Any of the other products from that site people would recommend? :)
The @Ratchett universal adapters look nice as do the tools and storage pieces.

Anything else I need to add to my order? Is the storage tube included or do I need to add that to my order.
Every Vapcap comes in a plastic doob tube. They are great for storing your Vapcap or herb. I use mine to soak my condensers, tips and screens on cleaning day.

Hope my Zico single flame Lotus torch is strong enough! Not tryna spend anymore money lol.
Don't worry, the vapcap can be heated with just about any heat source, from jet lighters to candles and stove elements to campfire sticks and solar heaters.

I'm certain that your Lotus will be more than strong enough. :) But it's also great to have a few cheap backups around.

Agreed, husband said something like "of course it's black.." I'm usually happy as long as it's not white (I can't keep anything white for 2 minutes!) but would love to see greens or reds.
Actually, purple with the green Vapcap logo on the shirt, maybe long sleeve, made of hemp?! That'd be cool. ;) I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

Okay people I have finally placed my sale order for : 4 M's (one for me, 3 for friends), 2 triple torches, an Omni condenser and mouthpiece (to make my mum her very own Omnivap with my spare glass body and Ti tip), a glass OG complete body for my neighbour, who cracked her OG (one of the M's is for her, and I persuaded her to get the $12.75 replacement body to have both an M and fully functional OG), plus an assortment of spare bits and bobs for the gang, myself included (screens, dynakits, orings, stash tubes etc. )

Phew! It is a relief to close the project at last, after lots of deliberation and single handedly consulting and advising a load of clueless newbies on what I thought they needed and should get!
Quite a responsibilty (gosh, just realised what a long word that is as well!)

Matter to bed now. Order total $331.

On a sidenote, and seriously not to re-open the can of worms, Vapecritic has responded to reason and market pressure, and updated his poll to include the recent Vapcap votes!

So Vapcap is now in 2nd place between Mighty and Volcano!
Kind of like Ferrari splitting the 2 mercedes on the grid!:D

Thanks everyone!

I think I said it in another post... somewhere... in this big thread, but I like using a single flame torch. I find it more precise, and you're more in control of the heat up process. It is maybe 1 or 2 seconds slower than using a triple torch.

Ok.... order is officially placed, now I just have to wait impatiently for my goodies. I had to act like I didnt know the dynavap store existed before I ordered every piece of wood on the site....

Called the store to finialize my order and the man himself answered the phone. Which was awesome because I got to personally pass on my regards about Arielle and the best customer service I have ever, ever received.

Now  until I can :spliff: with all the rest of you vapcats.

I am allowed to vape at home by my wife, it's just frowned upon :(
So I'd rather be discreet/quiet.
I empathize with @Hoey420 as my triple torch also sounds like a jet fighter to me, almost. And the click to light it echoes throughout the house. I'm hard of hearing, wear aids, and the lighter drastically drowns out the M's click.

Before the triple, I temp used a Bic and that was quiet BUT left big ugly deposits on the cap :(

Just a dash of spotty math and Vapcap history trivia to revive this exceedingly slow moving thread…

A bit over a year ago, I placed my first Vapcap order. This was during the crowd funding period with the first Vapcap models and Omni preorders. That first order was in the #1000 range. Then when I placed an order in June my order was in the #2000 range. Another order in Sept was in the #2700 range. My Black Friday order was in around #5700. And finally my recent 420 sale order #41500. That's forty one thousand and, five hundred, orders, not unit sales.

Now I know that I don't have all the facts and figures, but if the orders numbers are any indicator of sales and we acknowledge that a sale could be for just one vapcap or maybe 5 plus accessories (none of my orders were for a single vapcap), think about this....

George went from completing a couple hundred sales per month a year ago single handedly, to an average of somewhere in the area of 7000 per month a short year later with a team of about 8. I would hazard a guess that the average order might include a couple Vapcaps and if that is true then the depth and breadth all of this multiplies.

Regardless of polls or no polls, I am going to hazard a guess and declare the Vapcap one very popular vaporizer.

:2c: :peace::love:

Congratulations George @VapCap! We LOVE you!!

I'm not so surprised by this exponantial growth. He managed to create a great product that fills its niche very well. I've been looking for a vape like the Omni and M for years and years (I remember looking around as far back as the mid-2000s), and until they came around, there was nothing like it. I stuck to combustion all these years because I couldn't find anything that I really wanted: extreme durability, butane-powered, no parts to break, reliable, etc.

Cleaning Pro-Tip:

If you use a grinder or have a used a grinder from the past...

Take a small piece of degummed hemp fiber and stick it in the VC load. Get a feel for the size you need to fill it but not suffocate the air path.

Use the degummed hemp fiber piece to pick up the kief and dislodge stuck pieces. I rec you use a thin stick f ush it around. Take the piece and put it in your VC and enjoy, or stash em away. I expected to get to a 3/10, but actually to a 5/10, so careful. I have about 4 more balls stashed away for quick sessions.

Simple, but helpful. I couldn't really figure out what to do with that stuff till after a year of using the grinder. Also you can do this anywhere you have herb contacting surface; I also use it on my working station.

I am Order# 41,817

That's a lotta Cappin goin on, I know I ordered multiples as well as many others have in the last few daze. Granted we are probably more afflicted here at FC with the VAS sickness then other places but I wouldn't be surprised if he's over 75k units already with whole sale orders and the likes of us buying 2-5 units a shipment
