Solo, Air, or Hopper

Just curious if you've tried the milaana. Or the vapcap. Several people have recommended it on this thread and you've expressed no interest. Is that because you've tried it and it's not a good fit?
I have large timbers of exotic wood.
Wood is for furniture or Musical instruments and art pieces.
For APPLIANCES? Kind of goofy to me.
HAIR DRYER with WOOD handles?

What business does a vaporizer benefit with wood as it's shell?

Lots of people see vaporizes as more than appliances. Considering many of us vaporize regularly, and leave our vaporizers out, I think it's fair that people want stylish vaporizers. Exotic wood logs are gorgeous, and look great on display. I would never leave a vocano or evo out on display, because I think it wouldn't be ascetically pleasing. Sort of like how I could leave a hookah out in a corner of my living room, but a glass bong would look... out of place.

Likewise with the vapcap, many people like the look of wood, but you can just as easily get a carbon fiber or TI body. Hardly a gimmick, it's just options for the customer.

So for you, all logs are a gimmick? It's true that they are very simple and much lower tech than some of the more well known vapes but sometimes simple is good. For some of us. I guess that's why there are so many different kinds of vapes. And I hope you find the one that is the best fit for you.

I love ya @ataxian but I will have to disagree with you on your log vaporizer opinion.

The Milaana is a portable and is made of wood. A heavy hitter far as a portable is concerned. There is a learning curve. Its not regulated so your draw and speed helps to get you to your temp that you desire. I know that you wanted an opinion on the 3 portables but thought I would comment on the Mi just my opinion. The Mi runs on a battery.

@CarolKing you have your right to disagree!

I see wood differently than you?

I made wood surfboards that sold for a lot of money.

My problem is I hate it on my lips?
I know guy's that make chairs from wood for $10,000 and up.

My view is my view.

Not my generation?

If wood is fine for you? Sorry however different stokes!

To me a vaporizer is a medication tool.
I don't see it as a ART piece as I do other items made with it.

I drew this table on my lap top in CAD on a flight.
Started on SATURDAY morning finished Sunday evening.

I'm sorry if you disagree?

However a SOLO is practical.

Find your sweet spot.

If WOOD floats your raft go for it!

I say go Solo + Hopper. The solo is bulletproof for when the hopper inevitably fails and needs warranty service. Can't go wrong with the air either, based on everything I've heard about it. Hope this helps!

I have a GH now and can give a preliminary impression. I've used the GH a few times and really like it. It toasts your load evenly and has good flavor. It's well made with a lifetime warranty if something goes wrong with it. The only drawback is the rate of returns but with a lifetime warranty the owner is set except for the price of postage to and from. My choice still stands. A Solo and the GH.

I have to agree with the past few posters. Solo is ime: sturdy and can survive abuse, good battery life, nice session vape, pretty good taste throughout session.

Grasshopper seems a great portable vape for when you want something light or out and about. Fast heat up, quick couple hits and done. You get the best of both worlds. They both look pretty satisfying when paired with water pieces, as well.
