can someone help me out with a nitecore new i4 intellicharger . i bought because my grasshopper still works it just doesnt charge . i took the grass hopper battery to the e cig vape shop were i bought the charger , the guy looked at the battery and said ya no prob i can charge it with this charger so i bought it .

he said it was plug and play , so i figured i could just bring it home and throw the battery in and it will charge it at the right rate . but then i was reading the manual and it says you have to manually select for 3.7 volts which is what it says on the battery . but im having a hard time figuring out how to use the buttons on the charger to select the 3.7 . can i just put batteries in it without doing anything and will it charge propperly ?

I'm not very technical but I have the nitecore and all my batteries are 3.7volts. I've just been putting them in the nitecore and have had no problems. I've been doing this with batteries for months and the batteries continue to work with no problem and my vapes have had no problem. When I look at the charged batteries in the nitecore most say 4.2 volts. Someone else may know whether this is unacceptable or not but, as I said, I've been using these with my milaana and any other battery operated vapes.

I don't have experience with the Nitecore specifically, but would imagine an intelligent charger would be able to detect and charge at the correct voltage. 4.2 volts is the correct reading for a fully charged 3.7 volt battery.

you have to manually select for 3.7
I have the Newi4 too. You don't have, since detection is automatic. But you can manually select a lower (or, but not recommended, higher...) charge level if you need to store them for long periods.

Forgot: to switch voltage anyway, press C button to rotate the slots. Then hold V button until the green led moves up. Wait or press C again to exit.
