Best session yet, I kept the intake hot not taking much time between hits, rotating the eagle torch around the the glass flare area .

Yeah I keep the carb capped whole time as well. Key for me to get an even light brown herb bake is rotating the flame around the end of flare and using a small mp also gives me a bit more control.

@jrcmang No issue with my flame on the intake with smoke showing from overheating with this method of rotating the flame around flare....

It was actually that first post that helped me develop the fast draw technique. I didn't preheat the intake but I used your technique of rotating the flame around the intake and got some wonderful low temp sessions.

I wanted to adapt the technique to higher temps so I used a stronger flame and faster draw speed. I got good but inconsistent results. Once I worked up some courage I decided to stop rotating the torch, just go for the sweet spot, hit it as hard as I could, and hope for the best.

I really like using your technique for low temp sessions. It works really well to prevent hot spots while still allowing for some nice long sips.

I wouldn't use that stuff your lighter will clog and die quicker. I used to use Colibri but the can's are too damn small. I just switched to Newport used it before when i couldn't get my Colibri and it did fine then.

Thanks for the tip, just ordered 4 pack Newport butane with this $13 lighter on amazon.

Did you all noticed how condensate accumulate in SBjr mouth piece?

It is moist, differently from any other vape I tryied, it is not sticky at all. Unless you let it dry (without using it) for a couple of days, than it becomes as with any other vape.

Presence of water vapor in buthane's flame was the main reason that drove my interest into this kind of vapes, I do believe this is the reason why it is soo smooth while being very hard hitter

Morning brickers,
I am killer stoned off some White Russian shatter that I placed on top of an old Mighty oil pad with some White Widow bud under the pad in Jr (love to combo high!). I heated up the intake with my Blazer dab flame set to low. Put Jr together with the material ready and wow blown away by the first few hits tast/effect, then the clouds just kept rolling out.... I took the pad out once with a toothpick to stir and was pleased at how the abv looked. 9 out of 10 setup for any wax/flower lovers out there, -1 since you need to clean the bowl out well of any sticky icky.....

@Andreaerdna you are right, I just cleaned my glass mp yesterday and noticed the condensation build after this mornings session, good observation! I've used water twice with Jr just for the thrill haha, no need really imo.

Wow. Someone mentioned the Mighty Concentrate Pad. I squeezed and pressed it flatter so that it fits into the metal sleeve. Wow what a difference. It protects the load from excess heat, but in no way does it affect performance negatively. Still extremely fast, but seems much easier and more uniform. If you have them I recommend giving it a shot. You will see what I mean.

Isn't using the steel concentrate pad just adding conduction? I think if someone created a metal ring that fits perfectly in the bowl, we can almost mimic the mighty and maybe less stirring?

If he is placing the pad in the metal upper area as it sounds the oil pad would not be touching the load or even close for conduction. I was using it for the combo wax flower setup, but this sounds excellent for on the go use since you can use higher heat, not mess with load much and cash the load faster. I just ordered 40 S&B capsules to help keep wax contained, 8 pads, and 25 bulk fine Mighty screens lol!

@subway13029 just have old pads right now. Ran wax on top of pad, on top of flower 3x, it's too sticky in the bowl without the use of capsules imo. Need a new pad to try @Herbie Hancock setup for good flavor since the pad won't get as funky this way.

This is a dumb question but I'm horrible at figuring this out lol, what size screens does the Jr use? I know they are a bit smaller than the 5/8 that go in the og brick, 1/2?

They should be the same 5/8 screens, bowl is same size as DaisyBrick. Lotus and Lily use smaller half inch screens (my beta Jr uses larger than 5/8, only have the one it came with)

@wakandvape... I'm not using it in the bowl. I know it fits just fine in there. I said in the metal sleeve. And it fits loosely if you don't squish it. If you squish it... it stays put. Maybe I was unclear. I don't like posting photos.

I think he was referencing my setup with that old pad. I think the pads expand when you ISO em thus my prego pad that has been to hell and back haha

I am thinking of saving up to get a Sticky Brick Jr! How efficient is it compared to desktops like the E-Nano when used right, how easy is the technique, how hard is it to accidentally combust, and how is the vapor quality?

Technique is easy as shit if your taste buds work.

It's easier to combust until you get the hang of it, but again...if your taste buds work it should be no issue, with a direct draw vape like this with a short path...tasting is key

My Mighty pad is def past its use-by date wakeandvape. I didn't know that S&B put out two different pad sizes for the capsules, may have ordered wrong ones....

I'm digging the feel of this Vaporbrothers glass mp when milking the Jr at home.

Edit: One last setup, think this really is my last one..... Half of a mflb muad dib tube mp, decent for holding Jr low (in a car maybe) for stealthy look shoulders up.

You're not supposed to make comparisons in vape threads, perhaps try posting in Ask FC.

I will say that I consider my Junior the closest thing to a pocket log there is, and my Sticky Brick/Jr usage has overtaken my E-Nano which previously received the most use of my vapes.

I still love my log, but I think everyone should have a (Hydro)Brick(Junior).

I have been clumsy recently.

Drop mouthpiece from table to tile floor: it bumped several times and landed intact (no hair crack at all)

Drop mouthpiece twice 2 days in a row (it is kind a little hard to pull mine off in order to twist it and use it) I actually throw it against microwave door and yet again it bounces every where while remaining unbelievably intact!

Man, my next butane vape It will most likely be the Sticky Brick Jr. !! Followed by a Hydrobrick add-on. I really want to try that but the price seems a bit high for an adapter, is there an FC coupon code? You guys are killing it either way! Unfortunately I find myself giving vapes away by the week and the habit of buying to give gifts is getting expensive! VaS is never ending, and when it does calm down GaS just takes over! At least I'll have a few items to put on the Christmas list if I can hold out that long with just old Daisy. Either way You have made it onto my upcoming purchases list! lol

Between fine screens in the top mp section/bowl area and using the s&b dosing capsules bellow my wax pad I've hit a home run when it comes to keeping Jr clean. Just load cap 3/4 full, dab on pad, fire away and flip the hot capsule a couple times during session, bangin high for hours on end....

Custom glass would be cool, and depending on how long before availability may be worth waiting for, for me. With international postage i want to make only 1 purchase which includes everything i need /want the first time.

Speaking of which, any idea on when the spalted maple will be available again at puffitup? It's been out of stock everytime i have checked over the last few weeks. (I can add accessories for my other vapes if i buy through puffitup and save bigtime on postage)
