I'm glad they are shipping now. My tracking number should be here any second (I hope). As I said in my email, I prefer to have a product shipped out with most of the problems ironed out instead of purchasing a final product and feeling like a guinea pig.Oh my goodness that's some awesome news RBT. I get the feeling you are getting your groove on more and more with each shipment. I hope you still find time to grease that stash and run some serious loads through that single battery. Love the updates and I can't help but feel a bit giddy for you my friend. Peace.
Until more of you good people start posting Zionisms I'm gonna keep putting random dribblings in here.
Random thought 1 - a magnet placed along the back, above the battery compartment, would make a great place to leave the lid when you are vaping.
Random thought 1, part 2 - The short glass is never hot on the lips. But when I use index finger cocked around the glass onto the trigger you can really feel just how warm the glass gets nearer the heater.
Thought 2a - if the curled part of the screen faces towards the load it's a lot easier to clean.
Thought 2d - organic matter holds alcohol well, despite scraping.
2d1, 1 - Torching alcohol-soaked organic matter makes pretty!
** Fresh batteries!

Johnny, trying to be 'hip' with his cap on backwards
- The lid magnet on my beta unit happily attaches to the magnet inside the battery lid, keeping the two together . . .
What a dude.
Random thought 1, season 3 -
A magnet placed somewhere in the stir stick hole would prevent the stir stick falling out when Zion is inverted.
R1, S3 ep2 - a fixed stir stick (a-la Lotus cap) could also have this effect.
You mean like this?
@VegNVape posted this some time ago:
About the general magnet attaching question (as for the stir lid) - there might be reasons not to do this cause of magnetic parts in the heater/electronics/batteries? I don't know s#!t about this.. but I guess this has been thought of already by the Z-team. THEY are smart
Have a great day everyone!!!
Ah, @RastaBuddhaTao if you like new tunes to support your good mood when assembling the face stealers: check out Spriritual Rez ("Don't be afraid" ) - fukking geniuses - just like the Zion - V E R S A T ... ok, I shut up...

While possible in Veg's unit, that can't be done in the production model. The betas had the door cover the whole back with a magnet on top and on bottom, while the production units have the top glued on to cover the electronics compartment, while the battery door is beneath it with two magents, but on the sides below
My brother met a group of people at a gas station by our house. He invited them over to smoke. Turns out they're Spritual Rez. We get free tickets to all their shows now and they grew up in our town. Glad other people know of em!
Real cool group.
I'll get to show em the Zion next time I'm at their shows !!
He means what has been sold since the 1/29/2016. Only 13 units have sold since then. If you buy one, that number 13 will become a 14. If you buy two it will become a 15. If you buy one and I buy one, it will become a 15. However many units he sells from 1/29/2016 until 3/1/2016 will determine what freebie you will get if you paid $269 or more for your Zion.Ahh...he meant YEAR to date then I guess. thanks for the clarification

Perhaps you are correct and I think you are...my misunderstanding on the date part.I hate to nitpick, but that is not what that means. If you say 13 units have been sold as of 1/29, that means that on 1/29 he last updated the page and that the number sold was 13.
I think more people are confused about this than we realize because I have now gotten 2 different answers to this question. I pre-ordered my Zion on 1/12/16 for $269 after he reopened the store. I believe that my preorder would be included in the 13 sold. That's what @hackslasher interpretation would mean also.
So the only question should be what is the starting date for the number of units sold. Here is how it works.... once a week I will update this page with the current number of Zion's sold (see Below). This give-away is retro-active for anyone who paid $269+ for your Zion. So, the number of units sold below reflects the quantity of units sold to date and will increase as additional units are purchased.
So know he reopened on Jan 12th but not sure if he did the price increase at that time thoughThe RBT store is back online. Those who submitted a request on the www to be on the waiting list will take priority. Please note we will now be supplying batteries with every unit to ensure proper battery safety. RBT strongly encourages the use of a digital charger or volt meter to ensure proper battery health is maintained. With great power comes great responsibility
How much will a ZION will be worth in 10 years? There are 17 production units in the wild I believe. At least that is what I am led to believe from RBT's latest tweet stating that he is working on units 18-24. Nonetheless there are no more than 17 production units and a handful of Beta units out there. It sounds like the number sold is somewhere near 100 so you wouldn't be in the top 50.
