That is amazingly efficient. Can't wait to use it.
Usually from preference average user does about .1-.15 if using a smaller bowl you should see a gain of about 20% battery life. Coupled with 3100 mah that's going to be about 50-60%

i prefer even smaller loads 0.03 to0.05 g because of better taste and efficiency... at least with my enano...
it would be great if you can vary load size from 0.03 to 0.15g...

I have been watching this thread since it started. I think you have a really nice vape that you have been working on. I am def interested. FOr the next one imo i think a single user replaceable 18650 would be perfect and if you can hit the mark of making something around or even smaller than a pax with ease of use for on the go than i think you should do really well with it. I personally owned the pax and never liked it that much, cleaning became a pain and i was always looking for something small where i could replace the battery myself. That's when i found the Arizer Air which is great but if it was a drop smaller and a spot to hide my stems or for them to retract it would be so much better for me. I bought a Goboof Alfa and its tiny but has no user replaceable battery even though it uses a 18650 and it just doesn't work well, Its not efficient at least for me but its size is so perfect.O totally kidding my friend. I love this little thing we have going.
Trevor and the gang are good guys. I am speaking with them to ensure our patents don't cross. Soft spot in my heart for them I guess being an RIT grad BSME 1995 lol. I mean, I don't get it really... If your device can drop and re-load a battery that fast who cares how long they last?
I am still trying to figure out the sweet spot for battery life versus size for my next design. I feel like it has to do 5 loads... But what size? Like .05g for a stealth? I bought the materials to start playing but I don't know if I want to go PAX size with a full 18650 or go for GH size and run a smaller load / battery life with an 18350???? ....and don't say both lol

Amazing feedback all, spot on. Single 18650 battery, quick replacement, thumb knob temperature control, and .1 g load size and of course instant convection technology.
Well, back to work on the Zion session vape so I can bet to that single battery stealth model lol.
I am blow away by the support on this thread as well as the messages I received. thanks for the kind words and encouragement as it really has the team energized... keep the positive energy flowing.
So to start and official list please message me that you would like one. I will honor post in this thread and the emails I received for the order of the first few dozen but please message me as well and indicate that you have already requested a unit.
But, it is with this understanding. This is an place holder for a unit. The unit that you receive will be somewhat of a diamond in the rough and you are will be taking on a small liability with it's purchase. I have not yet finalized the pricing and warranty of the first 100 units nor have I landed on a price point. So, over the next three weeks I will bring clarity to the Zion 100 campaign and at the time of pre-order you can decide if you would like to keep your place in line. I will also be asking that users post on this forum as well as potentially run specific test as part of product validation.
With the disclaimers laid I will tell you the best of news....
I am proud to announce that the first two super users have agreed to chair the Zion-100 beta test program. It is with their approval that I will release the first 100 units to the FC community.
@stickstones is such a positive vibe and key contributor here one of the first members. He is always politely inquisitive and his knowledge of draw technique and sooo many vapor technologies will be priceless. He is also a keen business man and I wish him all the best on his new business venture although we all know already that he will be immensely successful... karma always rules.
pakalolo deep technical knowledge on even the minute aspect of the art of vaporization is staggering. He will lend an edge to the team and keep us inline with a focus on the goal of making the last minute refinements to the design prior to unit 101.
Please help welcome them to team... and now I am off to continue the work on their units. With any luck they will have them by the end of next week. It is my mission to get a couple of the first Zions into their hands so that they can being to share their raw experiences here with you all and we can continue this amazing co-development work that has become this thread that has truly exceeded all of the @thekarmawhore and I's expectations.

If this device performs as well as I think it will and its size is portable enough and the price is affordable, the Zion vaporizer will dominate 2015.
I think you should have a form or place for people to sign up for pre orders just so there's not a thread cluttered with posts saying "I'm in." Just my opinion. Good work man.

This is correct, however what we have here is not quite what the rule was meant to prevent. @RastaBuddhaTao explained his programme and invited FC members to participate in the Zion-100 beta test program. As I understand it, sticks and I will get alpha units and provide fine tuning input to the beta units. After any changes, those will be released to the first 100 FC members to sign up. I will point out that posting here might not get you on the list, since RBT asked to be sent a PM.
True true my friend... And technically prior to the 2x4 (beta) was a metal case with an aluminum tube heater housing that took over 4 months of solid abuse. So that makes the Zion-12 units I am building for @stickstones and @pakalolo the Charlie units which will drive the final changes in the initial 100 units them the Deltas sold exclusively to FC members 
We will stop production after the initial 100 to to give some time on a larger population to look for any issues. With that said I have faith in the rock solid reliability and rock solid performance that the Zion has demonstrated so far.
We are creating a wait list form on the www and will post out when it is ready. I will honor any posts or messages I get between now and then.
Is everybody in? The ceremony is about to begin.
