ah ha ha... I am just focused on trying to move the Zion so you all can get a good view
I will do some short focused vids and explain the details... like that stir stick with hand hammered blade. Promise I will make it less creepy... well it is that time of year.
So, Mr Peanut and I have been chasing vapor perfection for months. Through all of beta work I was not able to match the vapor quality of the 2X4. Sure, the beta's looked nicer but the 2X4 owners continued to insist that they first heaters I built where the best... until now.
The majority of the recent delay was due to Mr. Peanut and I working over 100 hours to test and perfect the heater. We tested over 20 heater configurations with Mr. P directing if I was getting better or worse. So now we have a few trade secrets and know the critical variables that need to be controlled to deliver "Zion Quality Vapor".
We expect the Beta team to notice an improvement in vapor quality over their existing beta units. I will let Mr. Peanut give more detail on the "Zion Vortex" that has plagued us behind the scene for so long. I, for one, am just so relived to have finally figure our the riddle that had alluded me for so long.
So we now have perfected the Zion heater in unit number 1 and have validated it (after some termoil) in unit number two which will ship to
@pakalolo tomorrow... and at the end of this journey I am tired, gratified, and thrilled to deliver the first production quality unit to the cornerstone member of the Beta team. Many thanks to Pak for his wisdom and guidance through this process!
Now, with production design understood and under way we will turn our attention back to our lifetime customers to answer there questions and request and bring everyone up to speed. To start here is the latest working draft of our FAQs page... lets us know what else you would like to see.

If I ordered a Zion already when should I expect it to be shipped?
The first 25 units will be start shipping in October and into November. In December we will start to ramp to full production with a 200 unit build. We will be releasing a Zion shipping calendar on our web site to keep people up to date on shipments.
Will you be shipping units outside of the USA?
The Zion will not be shipped outside of the US due to the cost of shipping, customs and international safety certification requirements. The only shipments planned outside the US are the 50 beta units of the single and manual battery units for development purposes. Some of our customers may choose to use a third party shipping company, however RastaBuddhaTao does not recommend this as an option due to potential future warranty complications.

Sales and Marketing
Can I become a RastaBuddhaTao distributor?
We are currently in talks with multiple online and brick and mortar wholesalers. Once we evaluate our options and decide if a retail path other than the RBT store we will be sure to let folks know if we plan to sell direct to retail outlets.
What is covered in the lifetime warranty?
The lifetime warranty covers the unit against flaws in workmanship that lead to a failure. It does not cover failures caused by abuse / use outside of the manufactures recommendations. The nature of the failure will be determined based on the input received on the claims form. Nearly all glass breakage is caused by an impact and a flaw in workmanship is nearly impossible to determine. For these reasons we will warranty the glass with a “no questions asked” 30 day warranty. All warranty returns will be “in kind” in that the customer pays the shipping one way and RBT will pay for the shipping on the return. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks for a warranty repair.
Technology and Design
Will the Zions be made from one solid piece of wood?
The Zions will be made from randomly selected pieces of maple with no attention payed to grain matching other than the orientation of the grain. Each set of Zion parts will be precision fit and hand sanded for a perfect matched set.
