This is what happens when they receive it for free and are not honest like you and me. But in the case of our very own brothers here, I 100% trust their feedback especially from homies like @80Sixed who has had ALL of these devices. But i'm of course still cautiously optimistic. I'm waiting for another friend's feedback and if it's positive i'm definitely pulling the trigger now. Looks like an absolute Pivot killer.

@80Sixed how is it for back to back hits and heat? I didn't see any reports of overheating warning shutdowns from the manual or anyone, and this was an issue for me with the Pivot.

I don't have a Pivot but have read about it and looked in to it a bit more since I got the Pocket. One thing the Pocket won't emulate is the session aspect. As I understand it the Pivot has a set session time and can be extended with a double click. Pocket doesn't have the "boost". Ask me any more questions.

No way is that how it should work. I have done a dozen sessions and had some slight splashing at most and I used some big dabs.

What do you mean? It has a heat up time, and has a session timer too. Seems like it heats up faster which is awesome!

I mean it is set up different. As I understand it, Pivot has a set session time for all heat settings which can't be varied. But you can increase the time (boost). Pocket doesn't have this. Like all Yocans you set the session time. And once its done you can start it again.

As for it being a "killer", only you can decide that. I see myself using the Pocket pretty regularly but will use my Orbit occasionally too. Variety.

I find the pocket to be better than the pivot , but not by much . It will deliver a good tasting dab, but you have to use small dabs. It splashes wax like crazy . With or without Terp pearls . You can do back to back dabs without overheating no problem,
Easy to clean. Here’s a couple of pics after 3 dabs, you can see the reclaim build up. I’m not sure if the temps are accurate ? It seems to run cooler than the pivot . I like it better than the pivot. Great flavor .

I was thinking this would be a potential issue like it is with the Pivot since you have to inhale softly depending on dab size to avoid the violent air movement splashing oil out the top. How hard do you draw, typically? I was hoping I could take stronger pulls from this (and larger dabs by association) so we shall see how that ends up but I feel like I only draw with about 20% force on the Pivot with small dabs to get the best out of it.

@biohacker i haven’t gotten a heat warning, but at most I’ve only done 2 back to back, although at 525f, so not NOT hot.

@bulllee sweet Jesus you must be terrible to share a milkshake with. I haven’t gotten any buildup there AT ALL let alone so much it’s pooling like that. I almost think you need to be doing several things wrong to get result like that. Maybe too much product, pulling too hard, and idk, tilting it real far? There’s a bit of wax coloring around the edge of the cup, that I hope maybe a sonic cleanse will remove, and then the occasional splatter up top, but again- nothing like that picture. That’s insane
