Worst vape ever?

It's always kinda funny to see how differently people here can see things, i still have a WISPR sitting out on the patio and use it for a long session every now and then it's not the greatest vape but it's always worked really well for me.

While I don't have one, I seem to remember using one and thought it was pretty good as well. You have to look at the vape at the time it is introduced. Vapes are better today than they were a decade ago--at least portable vapes. In fact, while my memory can be a bit...unmemorable at times, I seem to remember the Iolite was the best available at the time. (At least, that's what the cool kids used.)

A friends' Iolite was the first I tried, and he still has great faith although he mostly combusts.
He even thinks there's something wrong with my vapes and that they are not true vapes as they have vapor that is quite visible!
Of course if he filled the Iolite more he might get more visible vapor.

One of the worst vapes I had was a Chinese clone of a Davinci walkie talkie,
It tasted of melted die cast toys and it smelled of burning 80's rubber material.
The faultiest vape I've owned was Puffit 2, I bought the Mighty straight after as it was rumored to be reliable and that hasn't stopped in two years.
I don't like the design and function of Vapcaps too much.
And I think Arizers material choices could've been better when they made my Solo.

It's interesting how some here dislike the Crafty and love Vapcaps, and I like Mighty and have trouble with Vapcap! And there are those that like, and dislike both.

The worst was the Atman Almighty, nothing was working properly(grinder, heater,airpath and mp) and, at first, the airflow was non-existent.... since there was a glob of glue into the "stem"! Although I know they made a second version of it but I never tested it.

There was a lot of pretty bad vapes but none of them came at this level of failure (I was unable to take even 2 rips since the too restricted airflow and the plastic/silicone taste. It's a shame cause their first vaporizers, the Hachi,a sort of super mflb, was pretty interesting despite poor performances and the Starlight which got interesting performances but the design was pretty bad (I suggested them some mods but they ignored me).

Anyone remember the Incognito?

Ceramic heater housed inside a metal water bottle. Plug in, not battery powered.

The manufacturer was banned after i accused him of making dummy accounts to promote his product. It was later confirmed by the mod's.

Dude also made another vape called the Magic Wand. This was during my VXC Beta testing period. One of his dummy accounts claimed to have tried the VXC and said it wasn't any.better than the Magic Wand. This shot out red flags as there was only two or three units in existence at the time and I had one of them.

Years ago someone loaned me a HipVap Vaporizer. It was absolutely terrible, extremely week slow heater. And the worst part was the lack of airflow!

It was not my experience at all!

Airflow is on the restricted side but I get decent enough vapor production and taste. Not something enormous but clouds you can't miss, for sure!

Did you checked if the stem was not restricted cause a large amount of reclaim? Air inlets are several thin paths between the lid and the unit bottom, keep this area clean might help...
This vape was offering some nice features before most: adjustable timer and t°, very good water tool adaptater and dual batteries for a very long autonomy. I agree it's more a sipper than a heavy hitter but if you start at 410 (or more) you'll get some pretty thick clouds. I still own mine and despite a low usage I still enjoy it to sip on the go or even to milk a water pipe in the garden. It's still in pretty good shape.

I remenber some members was thinking the Magic Wand was a good vape... never tried one but I remenber some nice videos. Not sure but it was cheaper than the Cloud. @Vitolo posted some videos with the Incognito too, I can't remenber his opinion though.

That's crazy! I used a green laserpointer to illuminate the vapor path after clearing all debris and I still couldn't get any proper airflow through the vape! Draw resistance was severely impeded on my copy of the unit. Although since this was a loaner, I didn't bother to say anything about it lol

For me its the puffit. Long warmup time, whispy vapor, shitty plastic cap on the bowl. Still though, not as bad as some of the others posted here. It works, and it fulfills its desire to be stealthy as hell.

I never was a big fan of the Cloud.

Firewood 4 wasn't that great for me either. Ran way too hot on even the lowest of settings creating hotspots every single time. Burnt wood flavor. Gross.

The original GPEN that was a combustion pen being sold as a vaporizer, and it was like $90 dollars at the time.

I also don't really like the firefly, super duper heavy, and I have to use brain power to figure out the correct heating, and expensive.

Not a fan of the haze either, super expensive, and just weird. It is like an EDC tool.

Taitan VS T3 it looked really good had nice and innovative control quartz chamber.... Except that it doesnt vapes cause of the poor airflow design.. There were no bottom holes and had airflow not passing trought hte herb, so basicly u were huffing whats above the load no the air that gets trough the herb .

My first vape was a glass tube thingy. Not sure if I remember the name but it was something like an oolie? Oouly? It combusted 90% of the time. Terrible vape anyway.

It turned me off to butane vapes until last year. Now I use a vapcap daily, lol.

Years ago when I was deciding on a portable vaporizer I ordered the Vapir Oxygen. I thought it would be a great portable for me to start my vaping journey. Well when I got it, it didn’t work. I sent it back for warranty and recieved another one a couple weeks later. This one worked maybe a half hour then stopped working. The flavor wasn’t that great, but I wasn’t able to give it a good try. Flavor was on par with the MFLB. Some folks swear by the MFLB. Flavor I give it a D grade. I gave my MFLB away to a combuster. It is well made I have to say. It had a lifetime warranty a few years back.

I eventually bought the Vapir No. 2 then I bought the Solo. Those vapes helped me kick the combustion habit.

I don’t have much patience for units that are faulty repeatedly. I usually move on. If I was having to send my unit back over and over again like some folks that have the Grasshopper, I probably would give up. I don’t have time for that - Life is too short.

I have no doubt though that there are worse vapes than that, that I have never used.

That was my first vape too!!! Totally forgot about it. I’ll be honest, back then the Iolite was probably considered one of the best portable vapes out there at the time. Worked nicely for awhile but I realized over time that it’s not a good idea to combine an in house butane system into any unit. Like any butane powered vape, it’s the torch that cracks out all the time.

Gave it away when I decided to try out the Solo when it came onto the market. Still hits like the tank it is.

The worst vape that I have ever used was the original Iolite.

I had a bad one once... and I hated it.
I now have 3 and love them.
Each has functioned for 5-7 years.. one of them is the BETA Iolite (iInhale) and it still rocks also.
It may be pertinent to mention that I used an un-recommended butane on my 1st Iolite, but now only use Newport.

Working with a shitty Iolite is an experience of nightmare.

Worst vape I've ever used by far was the G Pen from Grenco Science. All the coil elements would burn out after a couple uses and the taste was terrible when using it for dry herb. I purchased a concentrate coil to see if I would have better luck and it was a complete disaster total mess & waste of concentrate. Bought a $22 China wax pen that lasted 2 years before battery finally died and it worked like a champ as compared to the $90 I spent with G crap.
