Setting up the WOHW is pretty easy - undo the two large screws on top with the included allen key until you have room to slide the coil in, once it's seated you can tighten the screws again. The heater sits nice and securely within the coil - it's just tight enough where an accidental smack won't send anything flying (good, because I'm clumsy :haw:). According to the instructions it requires a burnoff at 600f for 15-20 minutes - the PID however defaults to 710f the first time it's turned on, so keep this in mind before you put the heater in for the burnoff!!

First up, diffuser mode. The closest I've ever had to a true diffuser-style experience has been bodging my Herborizer with extra glass bits - fun and all, but liable to end in disaster - so having a dedicated diffuser is much appreciated. I set the WOHW 5f below the recommended maximum of 560f (because I like it hot), loaded up a SQPful (approx 0.2g) of homegrown, let the WOHW sit on the bowl for 5 seconds and ripped it through my Herborizer sphere.

:whoa: The name of the vape really is true. I got pretty much instant, dense vapour from a medium-hard pull, with the second pull completely clearing the bong - everything had already been extracted by the time I stopped inhaling my first hit! Compared to my Herborizer which needs at least 30 seconds and a medium-soft pull to get 3 or 4 slower, fluffier clouds (with stirring!), I am seriously impressed by this thing!

On the other hand, the injector end provided a far more familiar experience. I did change my flower choice for this bowl, going with some CBD instead, but at the same temperature.

20241218-151559.jpg

This is what I'm used to with the Herborizer. Tasty, fluffy, slightly steamy clouds. It had a cleanup hit after this photo was taken. I have experimented at a lower temperature with the same amount and strain, using the diffuser, and I got a similar experience, just with slightly denser vapour. I suspect that I will only use the diffuser end with the included matrix bowl, and the injector end with any glass bowls I may have knocking around.

This appears to be somewhat compatible with 18mm male joints and basket screens, but I have not tried vaping with one yet as I suspect that sticking will be an issue. There is a microdose bowl option available to those who want it however, and whichever retailer you choose to buy the WOHW from will almost certainly stock the microdose bowl.

All in all, this is the bee's knees. The dog's bollocks. Insert another rhyming platitude here :p. It does exactly what it says it will do, and for that I really can't fault it much. Time will tell if any issues arise, but out of the box I have pretty much nothing bad to say about this (except my grumbling about stir tools).

I can't see this fully replacing my Herborizer for now, since I do still value that slightly slower extraction, but it will likely be my daily driver. I will be testing this against both my Herborizer and my friend's B0 over the coming week, as well as with a banger and dabs, so I may post again before the week is up.

If not, see you all after the honeymoon period :peace::spliff:
Thank you very much for this review of this kit!
You convinced me to buy one 😁
I'm happy because it's now available in my country, I wouldn't need to buy this kit from a foreign country, and suffer the shipping costs and customs taxes lol.

I did well to wait for its availability.
It looks amazing, and with the micro dosing bowl it will be very versatile

This is such a great write-up and incredibly spot-on to how the device functions! I couldn't say it better myself. Any one who is offering this has a real value based kit on their hands that can compete with the best of them.

I just got back from running a dab bar using this and the Ruby Twist. They obviously both blow people away with each new person to try, but when it comes to events outside in the Midwest, during December, the Twist shined a bit brighter. Combating cold ambient temps is so much fun!

A de-bowler, or stir tool would certainly be a good value add to the bundle. I'll have to consider that. I began including Ti screens, but more due to the micro size giving me a bit more open airflow. I don't personally notice a taste difference, but some may.

The name does say it all. There are definitely cheaper parts that you can put together for a similar/better experience, but the overall value is there out of the box. Can't wait to see what you think after stress testing it. After several iterations and a lot of testing it seems to have good longevity, even though you'll have a half anodized/half raw Ti look after a while. Maybe that's the biggest downside? The dual diffuser/injector design doesn't lend well to getting the entire heater inside the 25mm coil. Stretching it on that dock is possible but you have some height limitations.

Enjoy and happy flower dabs! :peace:🤙

Looks like a neat little setup. And for germany it is now available here. Cheers.
Probably cheaper (just a bit though) if you order from the UK https://recommendedvapesupplies.co.uk/products/wireless-one-hit-wonder-wohw?variant=45986214445292
I'm really considering it as it looks like a pretty solid all in one setup. I like the base sitting on top of the pid.
What's triggering me a bit is the coil not covering all the rubies inside or even uo to the handle. Might need to stretch the coil a little?

Nah, I don't think so. It's £250 incl. porto at recommendedvapesupplies. That's about 300€. And taxes are not included. So, it will be at least the same price. If my custom knowledge is right, it should be around 380€ (?) all inclusive.
I'm not going to buy it anyways, just stumbled upon it and thought I let people know...

I believe Matt at RVS should take off the UK vat on international sales, that will save you around £50 based on your estimate of £250. Send him an email to check.

To quote RVS shipping policies: 'For EU customers lower product prices are displayed on the product pages, this is the removal of the equivalent cost of UK or local VAT so that you only pay Tax costs once upon importing your package, based on your local VAT rate.' So, I guess what you suggest is implemeted in the side by now (?).

AHH, could be! I looked at the page and assumed you were buying without pud and the shopping was going to be 30. Sorry! Ignore me lol

True. I forgot about shipping costs. Last time when I ordered from them I didn't have to pay taxes so maybe with a bit of luck it might be cheaper .
Still wondering about the coil not sitting around the whole ruby filled height. Can anyone elaborate on that? Does it just look like that? Or isn't it a big deal anyways?

I stretched mine with a flat screwdriver so that the coil reaches the handle point. Made a difference, not huge but noticeable (~10C lower temps and a bit faster recovery). The coil could be a bit tighter but its allright.

+1 Gently stretched coils with flathead. Running 620f before and now 600f. Amazing device…still in

It's here! This is going to be an unboxing post, I'll report back on the vapour experience when I return from work.

As with a lot of these products, it comes in a plain white box, with foam padding inside.

20241218-143023.jpg

The caddy is nice and sturdy, it feels well built and doesn't seem to have any sharp edges or burrs. I wasn't expecting it to feel quite so premium, but I'm not complaining. The PID is nice enough, the usual China PID affair, but with a twist that I'm not used to - all the I/O is at the back! I am quite a fan of this, since it means that the on/off switch is at the front, making the user experince just that little bit friendlier. It also means that there aren't any overhanging cables, which has alays been my main grip with my Herborizer.

20241218-143251.jpg

The heater reminds me a lot of the Vapvana heaters, but with an injector on top. It comes prefilled with gem-cut rubies and feels very premium, with about a half mm of expansion room between the injector/cap and the gems.

20241218-143833.jpg

The money shot.

20241218-144010.jpg

The bowl is, as far as I know, a modified Vapvana design, and has been available for a while now. It is compatible with this diffuser, and should be compatible with most 18mm injector heads. It comes with a 14mm glass adapter attached and can be swapped out for an included 18mm (my preference and what I will be using in this review). I won't say much on this yet, as there isn't much to be said about it without actually using the damn thang!

The other accessories it comes with are a SQP and brush, as seen with the Vapvana gear. I would have liked to see a stir tool, but to be honest I have enough of them!

20241218-144238.jpg

I didn't get a photo of it, but the coil is a usual axial 25mm coil. Nothing really to report on it.

Once I'm free to do so I will do another write up on the setup and vaping experience, but for now I can certainly say I'm impressed with how premium this all feels

EDIT: Take a dab for every time I write the word "Premium" in this review

Thank you for a great review, ordered last night after reading this

Grow Goddess

Just vaping
Friday I scored my one-hit-wonder vape and the titanium metrix bowl. I am really loving it and this might even be my favorite vape. It is like having 2 vapes in 1. Same goes for the bowl since it works with each side. Very happy with my purchase.
Thanks to all for this thread and all of the links.

Has anyone else felt thet the OHW is aggressive in releasing heat? Ive been comparing the F22 with the OHW and the vapor is a lot smoother and fresher in taste with the F22.
I noticed after using the OHW I have more irritation in the lungs, so I switched the gem-cut -rubies to 3mm round ones and i feel the vapor is tastier and less irritating in the long run (a whole night of vaping).
Ive been running 295C(563f) - 300C(572f).
Maybe the gemcuts release heat faster? Tho I couldnt drop the temps lower than with the 3mm rubies.
I also tried 4mm round rubies, the taste was great but I had to raise the temps and it took longer to recover. Worse in every other aspect than taste.
Ive been looking at zirconia ceramic https://lacentralevapeur.com/en/vaporizer-accessories/23195072-zirconia-balls.html
The price seems reasonable, theres also SiC -balls.
Have u guys tried different configurations?

Buy your zirconium balls directly on Aliexpress.
It's cheaper and exactly the same thing.

One hit wonder is 520 rubies compared to F22 which I think is 180 rubies. I would imagine you would get more heat with almost 3x more rubies in the head.

The gemcuts are almost half in size. Nowhere near 520 3mm round rubies. I just got the epitome today, less than 400 3mm rubies but significantly more than OHW. I should check how many I fitted in the OHW.
But this obviously explains a part of the "heat -profile". Faster intake of heat because of smaller mass rubies with plenty of surface area -> faster release of heat also with more draw restriction which means less heat loss. Maybe.

Got the dual PID combo from Vgoodiez earlier this month, so far i really like it, run it at 600 havent tried other temps, i enjoy the 1 hit extraction on difusser moder, i get better flavor using the microdose diffuser bowl, i just push the basket screen to the bottom so it fit a nice ammount of herb. overall for the price its a great unit, but compared to the wireless tko the flavor does pale in comparison at 600F, but the clouds are massive. overall i would rate the unit a good 8.5/10

I think it’s much better for wireless head to have gem cut rubies because of better heat soak. I often hit the injector side for a brief flavor rip and then turn it over to diffuser without having to reheat.

I have a pre-order in for Terp chasers club Universal Baller. Check it out in the unreleased forum section. 1000 2mm balls and glass airpath. This might be something you would be interested in if you prefer round cut rubies.

Yeah I totally see your point, and the OHW delivers with the stock config. The vapor is fast and dense.

I've been lurking in the Uni -baller thread, it seems like a jackpot if the design works as an end product. I just hope it arrives to european market in the future. Following closely.

Happy new year!
It is a bit expensive there but it is available at docteur-vaporisateur (low on stock tho I believe)
