Who dabs ABV Oil?

If Tetrat Labsis making their product from schwag (which they are) with the help of d-limonene, then why can't we use it to clean our reclaim?

I managed to salvage a little bit of oil, which I have just used to season my Dab n Flo nail in the rooster apparatus

reminds me when i heated up a non-boro glass jar to get my freshly made errls out. jar exploded few inches away from my face.

was more pissed about the concentrate loss, also it being all over EVERYTHING.

i had to wipe down everything with iso so much. abv oil is STICKY and smells and stains!

Yeah, I stupidly thought I could speed up the Evap by putting the glass dish directly on the stove, on a relatively low heat, without the double boiler setup.
Then 1/4 of my dish said "screw you guys, ima goin home" and just snapped off frOm the rest of it.

I had lovely looking brown ISO piss out all over my stovetop, and that was the last of my iso...
So I needed a fuck tonne of elbow grease to get most of it off :/

Moral of the story:
Don't cut corners, do the double boil properly...

Glad no one was hurt I'm surprised the ISO didn't ignite . . .

Moral#2 Use Borosilicate or Pyrex (a formula specific branding of boro I believe)

Another thought would be a mug warmer or scientific hot plate possibly . . .

I actually thought it was Pyrex, I must've been mistaken though. I know my bigger Evap dish is def Pyrex.
My stovetop is an "induction" type.
It's basically a big flat glass panel, with 4 circular sections that are heated from underneath by (as far as I can tell) some kind of LED.
It's pretty cool

dude freddy, those stoves are so ballin! but they fuckn take forever to heat up! they look crazy as hell on full blast like heat LED's or something hahahah

Honestly, when it is almost all gone. It takes something like 3% concentration of butane in a room to make the room explosive. ethanol/iso is more forgiving in the sense that it isn't really explosive, so instead of blowing your house up, you will "just" burn it down.

Both solvents need to be treated with respect. IMO alcohol is far less dangerous for the DIY chemistry projects like these, but I'm hesitant to say that simply because it has a reputation of being "not that dangerous" but it really is if you don't account for how flammable it is. The fumes aren't great either, I need to order a respirator soon.

Definitely not induction cooktop. Induction works by running electric current through a coil in the burner(no visible red). The coil affects ONLY COOKWARE THAT A MAGNET WILL STICK TO. So no aluminum and no glass. Heats up VERY fast. I have the same type as in your pic. Does take forever to heat up ( especially boiling water). I have one of those induction hot plates from the info-Mercial and it works really good. The burner itself does not even get hot. Only the pan. Weird science!
