Thats what my wife said as I sat there with my mouth wide open.I wouldn't write Jon Snow off just yet. Not with The Red Lady Mellisandre still at Castle Black...
No one to root for anymore!Spoiler alert - They've managed to kill off every hero for me so far. I'm really disappointed.
Or not back season 6 but maybe season 7?!Kit Harrington says he won't be back next season. A lot of people think he's lying, but there you have it.
I'm not sure what is going to happen moving forward but I agree with your theory about John Snow's true identity.Okay, I'm going to talk about something that isn't really a spoiler because it's only a theory amongst the readers of the books. Since the show has now moved past the books there can't really be any spoilers.
So, the theory is that Jon Snow is not Ned Stark's bastard child, but that he is actually the (secret) result of Rhaegar Targaryen's abduction and rape of Lyanna Stark which sparked Robert's rebellion. Remember that Ned tells Jon Snow that he will tell him the truth of his mother the next he sees him as he is departing for The Wall and Ned is preparing to leave for King's Landing. Ned, being the noble and good man he was would never love another besides Catelyn, but would never leave his sister's child behind either. He knows he could never let anyone know the truth of the child's existence because it would be killed so he had to forsake his honor and make up the story of the child being his bastard in order to protect Jon Snow.
So, this would mean that the blood that runs through Jon Snow's veins would be blood from two ancient and Kingly lines. The Starks were long time Kings of the North while the Targaryens ruled the Seven Kingdoms for generations.
As we all know, there is immense power in King's blood and that is A LOT of very serious King's blood flowing all over the snow around him as he lies there bleeding out with The Lady Mellisandre and Davos Seaworth literally right there.
Now, perhaps the blood will be used for another reason, but I don't think so. Also, remember how Thoros of Myr was able to bring Beric Dondarrion back from the dead over and over again and Dondarrion doesn't even have King's blood running through his veins.
EDIT
Too bad this guy didn't get killed off yet. It's only a matter of time. Remember what happened to his father.
Is this from the first season? Or before?
Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Alfie Allen, Richard Madden and Kit Harington
From kit harrington's wiki page.Is this from the first season? Or before?
The Red Witch had no reason to return to Castle Black. There is no purpose for a plot at The Wall without a central character. My advice is to watch Kit Harrington and see whether he cuts his hair.
Btw The Mountain that rides is played by
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (that's easy for you to say) a 'strongman' competitor from Iceland.
This guy probably can't act, and his accent is atrocious.
The guy playing the Mountain is what's knows as a more purely "Physical Actor". Unfortunately, no acting schools can teach you to be massively large and strong in appearance. Based on that, I think his performances are quite good. After listening to his interview above, I wonder if he even delivers the few lines he's given himself or if they have a stand in (or 'voiceover') for that?
Like him I think it's too bad there wasn't a storyline where he and his brother battle off, I would vote for the Hound.
I think he's actually the second or third "actor" to play the part.
