Whats the best tubing to use on my EXTREME vaporizer?

it is possible that some of the perfume from the acetone is still in the tube, but i doubt it, i say run some hot air through it and it's fine.

I wouldn't use that tubing again, especially if its stock Extreme tubing. Your experience of 'whiter' tubing after cleaning is documented on this site and clearly suggests something has 'changed' with that tubing, I'm not qualified to say what happened but like NYCDiesel I think better safe than sorry. I'd invest in some good tubing.

My personal recc. and preference is Tygon 3350 from USPlastics in the correct measurements for use with the Extreme (sounds like you have your specs.). 7th Floor also offers a good option. The Tygon 3350 may be considered overkill (in terms of safety and consequent pricing) but its nice and flexible and the investment is justified in my opinion.

i've been using tygon tubing, it's heavy, and can still form a white film if the correct fluid is put through it.

honestly i wouldn't worry about it.

OO, out of curiosity, what makes you think that the "tubing is most likely fine,"?

If the whip smells like it retained some of the "chemical smell" then it seems logical to me that you may be inhaling whatever particles are causing the smell. I've got no evidence whatsoever but again like to err on the side of better safe than sorry.

acetone doesn't really leave a reactive residue, the color change is probably an inert surface, like if you had just roughed up the surface of the tubing.

i'm thinking the "chemical smell" is in part, or whole, imagined. acetone has a very identifiable smell, and it disperses quickly, so there should be none on his tubing, what may be around is just a smell containing compound that has been added to the nail polish remover to make it smell like something that girls would like. just run hot air through it to evap it off and enjoy your tubing.

I ran some hot air through the tubing @260C for like fifteen minutes. The smell is back to the faint ABV smell with no chemicals. As well, the white color has significantly disppeared with the addittion of hot air. The tubing I am using now is not the stock, it is a replacement tubing from daBuddah

Can i use any kind of silicone whip, or it has to be exceptionally threaded for vaporizer?

Sorry I don't fully understand the question but the silicone whip should be medical or food grade and it has to fit into the wand. What vaporizer are you using?
I'm pretty sure that I and others here have ordered replacement whips from here -

and since we're on the subject of tubes, I've got a dbv and my tubing is starting to get a brownish tint, why is that? and i don't think it's the condensed hash.

Extreme Q Klearon K010 Hose Safety

I read a thread here about the safety of the Klearon Hose coming with the Extreme Q not being so great. It was said that the max recommended temperature of the Klearon PVC hose was 70 F? Anybody else do more research into this?
