Last year i got some free sample Banana seeds and was really impressed with yield, budshape, density, flavour and effects.
The plants did seem to be vulnarable to budrot/mold as i lost one last year but that didn't change my enthusiasm about the strain!

So this year i ordered some, took extra good care and kept my eyes open for any trouble but it has to be said: they did flawless and produced even better than last year. Both in quantity and in quality.
And just like last year this strain really produced very nicely rounded, beautifull and really dense nugs.

First batch patiently dried and now ready for jarring/curing so not at full potential yet but could not resist to claim a couple smaller nugs for some saturday afternoon endulgment!
Cheers!

A recent acquisition of a Tinymight2 Purple Heart--and yes, this vape's reputation for delivering delicious vapor is well-deserved--motivated me to go out yesterday to procure some particularly sweet herb.

I ended up getting 3 eights of different strains from CBX (a top-shelf dispensary grower).

At the moment I've got the TM2 set to zero (low) with Mountain Sage loaded. The combo is so sweet.

Lemon, lime, basil, pine, and florals. A full spectrum taste experience.

Mmmm.

This was only $21 inc tax, for 1g and quite effective. 😊
I'll definitely try other cultivars from this brand.
It's a very pain numbing, mellow experience. Not super heavy on flavor, but not bad, and has a nice smell.
{Edit: I forgot to mention that it's good for sleep induction, and if you stay awake and take enough, def get couchlock.}

I've been using this wonderful forum for many many years, but I still don't fully understand some of the rules. I vaguely remember something about not posting twice in a row, but there's something else in my vape now and nobody else posted anything since my post yesterday. If I'm not supposed to post again without someone else posting in between, I apologize.

Just picked up, and tried "Lemon Pound Cake" from Lokaal. 3.5g for $40 incl tax. Hybrid

I'm not a big fan of the pepper or spice flavor you get from corropylene sometimes, and when I opened this up it definitely had that smell. Amazingly though, for the most part every time I breathe out the vapor on this one I taste pound cake with a hint of lemon. I was hoping this one would be stronger in lemon taste, but the pound cake taste is quite nice.

The FX are strong, and have me feeling a bit more than I was expecting from 0.1g I loaded in the Roffu. Mostly feeling it in the head/face, and a bit of upper body. Almost feels like someone is hugging my eyeballs. 😳😂👀

As sweet and orange-y as the appropriately named "Tropicana" might be, I think this strain from CBX is the sort of sativa that those who don't always get along with sativas (feeling nervous, anxious, on edge) should probably avoid.

I love sativas. This one has a touch of the "other thing," even for me.

While delicious--and it is--I doubt that I'll re-purchase Tropicana.

Starting to test out a few of the more expensive, but not nearly as expensive as the most expensive stuff, in the world of concentrates.

I found a legal place that had this for a very good price compared to other places, and went there on a day they were having 30% off all concentrates. So I managed to get the price down (including tax), to about $25. Some other stores are selling it for about $45 plus another 35% tax or so. It's the first time I'm trying this brand. Though the brand was recommended by Troy on his live stream a couple of times.

This is from Bear Labs, and is live resin budder of one of my favorite strains, Durban Poison!

This has a very strong and wonderful citrus scent and taste. A very tiny dab in the Pockety (ruby cup) had me feeling happy, giggly, and lifted overall. And then when I did a larger dab (still probably smaller than what most people do. About 3 mm wide in each direction), it was like the earliest days of my marijuana experience. I had all sorts of visual effects and felt like I was shifting into another dimension. It was wild. I will definitely try this brand again if I can find it on sale like this.

Most dispensaries charge the same or more for much lower quality of other brands.

Are you talking about CBD? I live in a legal state for THC and there are hundreds of dispos around here.

This is what i am vaping right now. I am trying to sample as many so-called Landrace strains as i can find. Icy has an interesting lineage that i have copied below.
The Ice Weed Strain emerges as a remarkable contender in the cannabis market, distinguished by its robust genetic lineage that blends the vigor of Skunk #1, Afghani, Northern Lights, and Shiva.

A bit of Hawaiian Kush to start the day:

One of those strains where for me the name creates an expectation about how it will taste and smell that the flower itself lives up to, the gassy sativa version of a pineapple/coconut. I used to wonder if this was just the power of suggestion but at this point I've had enough live up to and not live up to expectations that I think it isn't + this name doesn't really reference any specific smells or tastes. Regardless this was a great pick.

35.61% THC WTF ?
How can more than a third of the weight of the flower be THC ?
Are they sprayed with concentrates ? Soaked in ?
I saw some the other day that claimed over 40% and one that claimed over 60%. I've spoken with scientists who specifically study cannabis, and they all said the same thing, "Unless they are adding THC oil to it, that is just not possible. Pretty much anything over 33% wouldn't leave enough room for the cellulose of the plant mater."

I'm microdosing a little new-school pressed hash from Nasha (Red Label)
What do you think of the Nasha? I've seen it recently on some menus, but haven't tried it. Do you just pinch off a bit, and sandwich it in between some flower in the bowl/stem of the vape? I'm assuming it should not be used in an e-rig like dabs, right?

I am trying to sample as many so-called Landrace strains as i can find.

2 of my all time favorite strains are supposedly Landrace based. Have you tried Durban Poison or Afgoo aka Afgooey? Very different effects with the Afgoo. Durban Poison is a solid satvia style, but Afgoo is not pure landrace, and usually is more indica / relaxing, but still awesome.
