As usual, a blend of inexpensive sativa-ish strains, nine this time. This durban poison smalls might be the only well known strain in the bunch.

I collected these over the past year. The blend takes on a spicy sweet flavor. It's not classic central American sativa but it's as satisfying to me.

The one on the bottom right is my leftover blend, prolly 10 strains in that one. I usually combine strains when only a few grams left.

In general, I think the Ok weed market quality sucks. Prices are acceptable, except that the best weed usually costs at least $120/oz. That still leaves several thousand strains at any one time that won't get that price. My problem has always been finding the right strains. Buying strains based on smell, appearance and price can be very frustrating. Now I trust a couple of bud tenders that seem to share my tastes. I can just wait and then pounce on a couple of ounces if/when exceptional strain comes along, usually smalls but not always. Happy vaping!!!:myday::leaf:

Since the unexpected collapse of my tolerance (from 0.2g of THC weed a day over two sessions/4 hours) to .02g of THC a day over 4 sessions/6 hours I've been mixing my weed with CBD in 1:1 proportions. This has mostly meant Durban Poison THC and Dom Perignon CBD mix, and Blue Dream THC and Durban Poison CBD mix. I'm really really happy to have clawed my way back from regular overwhelming psychedelic green outs to a nice heady buzz, with waves of giddy euphoria. Getting the mix right (with strains I trust) has been a really really important part of my regaining control of my intake, and I recommend to anyone who suddenly finds their tolerance has gone awry.

Unfortunately it won't be in my vape a few more weeks at least, but I have 4 phenos of Blueberry Muffin (similar smells, but different sizes/colors) hanging to dry and cure. Took clones of each and will only keep my favorite. Cherry Gar See Ya (x5) is up next along with a single Glue Sniffer (used as my medicine).

Picked up a ton of Bodhi gear that I will grow outdoor this summer. Stoked for that.

At least 50% of my consumption is a 50-50 blend. (Rest is 25% THC single strain and 25% CBD single strain).

So far I've only found one THC strain that I trust 100% and is potent enough to fit with all the CBD strains I have on hand.

In the mornings I like a "sativa" forward cultivar, and my Pinch Hitter sees strains like The Machine, Affie OG, and Spritzer. But I've become disenchanted with the idea that cultivar names have literally ANY meaning these days. I don't expect to be around, nor do I suspect that America's slide into fascism will tolerate my medicine much longer, but if the land of the free stays her course for the next 20 years I fully expect to have ALL real differences simply erased. Only marketing will exist.

Bought an ounce of high CBD weed a year or so ago. It was an eye opening experience. I liked it, but also realized how it kinda "competed with" my THC buzz. It didn't seem to work well in sativa blends..... My leftover blend still has some amount of high CBD weed in it but it's diminishing over time.

I've only very recently starting blending some strains. High quality THC flower is luckily very easy to get and for a long while I liked experiencing strains straight up with no blending. Now when I get a new strain, I'll still try it pure to start but then I'll experiment with mixing in other strains.

I have recently been seeking out THC strains with a higher CBD content (around 2%) and I do like this class of flower but I've never considered buying CBD flower to blend in.

I haven't read enough about the history of Cannabis cultivation to know if there is some ratio of THC:CBD that is ideal for human consumption. Still, I'd be open to blending in some CBD dominant flower to see what the effects are like, while also lowering my THC intake. It'd be nice to find single strains already having a desirable THC:CBD ratio, (who knows what this is) but modern breeding and crossbreeding that is biased towards high THC plants has likely corrupted whatever the historical ratios were in the wild.

The CBD strains I have are probably low in CBD compared to my strongest THC flower. So the blend is almost always THC leaning I guess.

I think cannatonic has the most balanced ratio CBD:THC

I have some 1:1 auto flower seeds that I made from selfing a Mephisto Cannacheese strain (derived from Cannatonic). My wife prefers it over regular high THC varieties.

I guess I can only know by trying. 👍
