I really liked your post Perfect_Speed . I suggest you check a book called the Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan. I sense you think like him to an extent.

This book deals with a variety of plants and our relationship with them . Marijuana is one of those plants he discusses. the apple, the tulip, marijuana, and the potato are the others.
There my book report is done!!!

or if you want to see one of his lectures here it is.

Thankyou for this extremely thoughtful and perceptive gift which looks right up my alley.
In return, I offer another book, Ways of being by James Bridle, which shifted my perspective on humans and our relation to the non human. Thankyou again

Found the COB discussion interesting on previous page. I stumbled upon that few years ago, but kinda lost interest as I read it doesn't taste so good when vaped, thus better to eat or smoke. But I'm still curious...
For sure, fresh fluffy flower is needed, being dried only to 3/4, so still slightly wet.
Here's another thread of making it, if anyone is interested. :)

Finishing off my last bud of NYC Haze for the anniversary of the dedication of Joey Ramone Place 🎸, 21 years ago today (corner of Bowery and East Second Street in NYC).

NYC Haze, is also called “The Piff”, “Black Haze”, “Piff Haze" or “Frankie 😎”. I bought this classic 1980s highly potent strain from a nearby semi legal lower east side dispensary back in March, and will miss it when it's gone 🌿💨

Ps ... the Joey Ramone Place sign is annually, the most stolen street sign in NYC

Late to the party here, but I'm from Jersey, so I know all about the Piff. Used to be everywhere in the late 90's early 2000's. Never see it here anymore. And man do I miss it.

Been seeing the breeder Piff Coast doing their best to get the genetics back the past few years. And I know some of his stuff has made it up to the growers in Maine. Even one grower in NJ is growing his stuff right now (not Piff though, some Sour Grapefruit variant).

Thanks Walter ... We'll keep looking fot it ... 🌿💨

was real surprised to see it pop up last spring and meant to pick up more but the grey market illegal dispensary i picked it up at was shut down. That was the great thing about some of the non legal dispos. You could find some great strains.

But I went back and took a look at my packaging, which was awesome, and it referenced this House of Piff site ... reaching out to them now as it only looks like apparel available for order ...

Thanks for sharing that. I am from North Jersey originally . I go back there occasionally and maybe check out some dispos. I will put this on my look for list. Any other suggestions that are outstanding?

I heard the whole weed situation in NYC is pretty chaotic, like things starting then stopping. Lots of less than legal outlets open. Maybe not a quick suggestion and maybe a whole thread.

That's the original cob thread, the ultimate source but approaching 500 pages it's a little heavy going!

Originally created to eat but I disagree wrt not tasting good in a vape. I find it excellent and a change from the standard herb. Great to have choices.

Here's some lemon cake from rgs:

That's funny you mention House of Piff. I'm actually aware of them as well. If you check their merch there's a skateboard collab with a company called "Pow!!"

Pow!! is owned by one of my good friends in Brooklyn. They also have a line of bud called "Brooklyn Botanical Buds" Really nice bud. I believe they currently have Sour Saunders and Citrus Frost on deck.

Small world and all that!

Walter Bishop,
I've taken fastidious notes on about a dozen flower cultivars from the state run dispo near me. This has helped me understand what I like. Right now, my favorite is called The Machine:

THC 25%
Myrcene 5.18 mg/g
Pinene 3.49 mg/g
Caryophyllene 2.04 mg/g
Limonene 1.97 mg/g

I got an eighth a few weeks ago, it’s been great. I got an eighth of Jack Herer last week and it has been disappointing compared to The Machine.

Awesome. I recognize the name Jack Herer, but haven't tried it. The not so funny thing is that The Machine has been my favorite by a country mile. Like, if/when I can't get a hold of it I'm gonna be quite bummed. I might just spring for an ounce. The only other cultivar that I connected with was Banana Dulce, but I'm interested in trying Dirty Berty and Gas Alley, two "suggestions" on the state site given my enjoyment of The Machine.

I took this picture last night before popping this mixed dab into the pockety. The plan was to post the picture after I finished the bowl.

But it was an effective combo for making me fall asleep, so this is a delayed, "what's in my vape". 😂

Ichiban badder dipped in King Louis crumble.
just curious not familiar with all those devices on your list. Why select the Pockety? Not familiar with that one at all.

There's a section for the pockety here on FC if you want to know more.

But basically it is an e-rig for temp controlled dabs. Serves the same function as a Puffco Peak, for a lot less money. I have been using it for, I think, around 2 years or so. I love it, and is currently the only way I use concentrates.

In my favorite vape for walking my dogs , the Roffu , I use the capsules, very convenient easy one handed use. My arthritis is the only bummer, filling them up is a PIA 🤔. So I use some crumble and kief and a little flower to bump things up so to say 🤩 . The flower is MAC , and the crumble is Legendary Red, the kief is Heinz 57 🤣🔥.
Very stony after 2 caps and 3 miles 🐩🐕‍🦺🥳
