As Rowan and Martin used to say "Sock it to me"Ok, buddy (I'd like to use a stronger word here but I'd be breaking some FC rules). Yes, I Google all the time and yes, I Googled YDK Jack before I posted my original post and yes, I already saw those two pages which was the exact reason why I came here to ask the question that I asked in the first place. What those two pages did NOT offer me was the answer to the original question that I asked which was, what are the genetics of YDK Jack.
So in response to your condescendingly helpful post, let me respond to you with this. Reading and comprehending what is asked in the original post before responding is an amazing thing to do.
(Achhhhh...........why I even bother to respond to posts like this. I should know better....)
I guess it's a pretty obscure strain since our internet info sources - Google, Leafly, SCLabs - have nothing more on it. You are right, maybe someone here on the forum has personal experience growing it and may have some genetic information. I assume you have some of it. Does it have sativa-like effects?
Lwien - at the risk of being unhelpful, if this YDK Jack strain is at the dispensary you recommended to me last year, you should just ask them about it. The knowledge in that building seems to go both wide and deep.
Seriously thinking about picking up some Durbin Poison that my go-to dispensary just got in. Never had it before. I love sativa's but I don't want it to be too racy.
You see Durban Poison in some very popular Hybrids like the Girl Scout Cookie strain that has branched out into several strains now. The Mint GSC is good too and one of the parents is Durban Poison.
