Hello All,
Just looking for some insight from you experienced guys/gals. I'll keep this short as possible. Long time flower vaper here (12+ years) most of which was daily up until 2016. However I'm a light user as 3.5g of flower would last me over a month. Then in 2016 I started getting nausea and stomach pain, which I thought could of been cannabinoid hyperemesis however my symptoms were different in that the stomach pain would come on within an hour of consuming, heat seemed to have no effect, I never vomited, and eating usually made my stomach feel better. (You can look at my post history) I'd take a month or two off, return and still have issues, take another few weeks off and go somewhere on vacation (like colorado) and then consume every day and have no issues. Really weird.
So here I am again dealing with this for like the 4th time. I had a 10mg edible on NYE and was fine (after not consuming for a few weeks because of this issue), then on NY day I vaped ~.03g. Within an hour I had intense upper stomach pain again. Now this was a strain that I purchased from L'eagle dispensary in Denver, which I vaped on for 2 weeks in Denver in August with no issues...
So I decided to try Benadryl. Within an hour my pain and nausea was probably reduced by 75%...and today I'm fine ??? So any thoughts on what is going on with me? I don't know if it's an actual allergy to something or what? But why does it not bother me when eating it? I also get similar stomach pain and nausea when smoking other flower with friends, but it's never identical in symptoms if that makes sense (different parts of my abdomen hurt, sometimes I'll be nauseous, sometimes it's just pain).
One thing I've noticed is that this has happened to me with all of the strains I've purchased in the past year or two, after I've had them for a while. So it's almost like something is happening as the flower ages? (I keep it in mason jars in a dark drawer). Only a theory.
I'm also fully aware this could just all be in my head to.. but I wish if that was the case I knew how to fix it.
Thanks for reading.
