This type of thing goes on for years and years in most cases but as all the evidence on camera this was over faster but still 18 months is a long time and could well have escalated into worse.
There are lots of tv series about these type of people "nightmare neighbours"

This is a disgrace and it happens much more often than it is reported. I stay near to 2 big graveyards and I see graffiti rubbish and vandalism every time I pass by.
