Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Almost there...
Hello guys
this is my first post here but I been occasionally following some topics for several years now.

I broke the glass housing cover of my vhw 2 years ago but didnt care to just order a new one straight away because I was about to take a break from vaping anyways.

So now that I started vaping again (Im also using a Cloud Evo and Mighty) I would really like to experience the unique flavour and buzz Ive been used to with my VHW. Unfortunately I cant find any place to get the spare parts that I need. Thats why I finally registered at FC in the hope that anyone has any idea where I can get a new glass housing cover or maybe even a whole new VHW.
I was also using the Vaporization Chamber Bowl 4.2(?) with the glass on glass feature. Ive never been using the silicone tip and the VCB also has a few cracks in the glass connector so if anyone has an idea where I can get a new one please let me know.

Thinking about not being able to use a VHW for vaping anymore is making me sad because I simply cannot imagine that there is any other vaporizer out there coming even close to the excellent taste and vapor quality of the VHW. I really hope someone can help me.

Using google to search for Vriptech only leads to an US-phone number which I did not call so far because Iam from the EU and its quite expensive. Also Iam not sure if they will be able to help me anyway.

I found this one online link to spare parts but have include if they actually have anything in stock.
Maybe email them and check if they do have parts.

I managed to buy a second wand a few years ago because my heater cover has a crack in it and the 2nd hand unit was cheaper than just buying a replacement cover.
The VRip was truly an amazing device that did not get as much love as it should have received!

Good luck getting parts!!

Thanks for providing the link but it looks like they dont have anything on stock. Well maybe Im just gonna try to contact them and ask if they have anything left.

I guess that has a lot to do with the fact that this vape is not as convenient tonuse than most other vapes. It requires pretty much "skill" in order to get those amazingly tasting clouds. Especially if youre using it as glass on glass without the silicone tip.

Thanks for your reply. I already sent a message to @vripmaster on insta a few weeks ago but no reaction so far. Will try to reach out to the other accounts you mentioned.

Ive also found Marks linkedin profile but did not try to contact him there cause I dont have an account. Maybe I got to register an account there to try to get in contact with him.

Almost there...
Not sure who came out with the all glass air path purity first but the VRip did an excellent job!
Sold my first wand ages ago and regretted it almost instantly!
Bought another one but the heater housing eventually cracked from use... Managed to pick up a replacement wand a few years ago and it still works like day one.

Such a great bit of vaping history!

Damn guys... its been so so long since Ive been experience those flavour country vrips and didnt find anything that comes close to this. Im so sad that I broke the glass housing of my vhw a few years back and its also almost 2 years ago since I been posting here in the hope to find a way to get a replacement for the broken glass parts. Unfortunately I didnt manage to reach out to Mark so far and so my journey to find anything that gives me the same feeling that I got with the vhw continues.

My Vapexhale Cloud Evo is still running like a champ but its not the same and by the time I got fed up with the use of the easy load bullets. Lately I bought my first Ballvape and ofc the efficiency is outstanding compared to any other vape Ive been using before but I would still prefer to get back to the good old flavour country. Using the vhw feels like some kind of aromatherapy that I just cant get any other way.

So this is another request to the Forum to help me get the spare parts to fix my vhw. I hope someone can help me to get my vhw fixed :(

Send a message to Vripmaster on instagram. I did look for any links to buy parts and was not able to find any. Your only shot is to reach out to Vripmaster on insta. For a cheap price though you could get a terpcicle or quartz cap from Rogue Wax Works and they produce very good flavorful hits.

This Terpcicle vape looks very promising, thanks for the input. I will try to figure out what exactly I got to get to get it running with my crossing tech PID and my Roor Icemaster. I hope its avaible from EU based suppliers as Iam located in Germany.

A few weeks ago I had the great idea to ask a glass blower if he might be able to repair the glass housing cover of my vhw. That was probably the best idea I ever had. He fixed the glass and now I can finally use the VHW again. Did my first session for ages yesterday and yes the flavour is still outstanding. I can definitly say that I didnt had any other vape that gives me this insane Terp Kick like the VHW does. But I definitly have to do some more practicing to get to quicker extractions.

I need a new glass housing cover. The part with the two holes for air intake and the glass on glass connection to the bowl. I will sent you an email. Would be awesome if you could help me.
Is HiSi Glass still operating? I think they made all the Vriptech glass... @stonemonkey55 would know

If it helps anyone re: heating element, you can find the same soldering iron elements on eBay now and then, at least you used to - the revised ones with blue dial, it's all good just requires a calibration. Look for "Soldering Station Iron Heating ELEMENT 50W for W.E.P 907A 937D 898D 852D 852D+" or similar, this was years ago.

In fact, thinking about this inspired me to go find one of the final emails I had with Mark in 2015 - he was really excited about the new VHW, and switching to American made element - and the upcoming Quartz pieces 😭 (think I have pics somewhere) but here are some tips to dial in the official ones (I'm 99% positive matched the eBay search terms above)

On Sun, 25 Oct 2015, Mark McCoy wrote:

I'm telling you we're getting closer just got a pic from the American heat tech company of the new custom element they're saying will finally beat the Chinese one --- it's higher wattage and larger OD so we'll have to retool the glass cover, but the wattage density won't be as high so it should be much more durable is the idea. Our next gen VHW will still use the same cartridge but I hope to be able to go all American except the plastic housing and ground plate on the version after that. Stay posted.

And to dial in the heat on your unit you want to remove the glass cover and then the temp dial (pulls straight out), push the board forward by the power cord a couple of centimeteres so that the Variable Transistor I (VT I - blue box with white screw head) is accessible through the hole in the housing, using a small screwdriver turn the white screw adjuster counter clockwise until it stops (shouldn't be far) and then turn it clockwise to approximately half way the distance to where it was --- this will open the gate a little more so that more juice can flow in. If that still doesn't do it for you then you can push the board a little bit farther forward to access Variable Transister II (VTII) and while it is plugged in (be careful not to burn yourself that exposed element) turn it counter clockwise until the red light stays on solid --- you've basicallly made it so that instead cycling to heat up it will stay on until it reaches the temp set relative to the dial (potentiometer) or if always striving to get there because the element is old and not as efficient then it will literally just stay on and not cycle off. The put it back together and have fun!
