Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Hi guys,

I just registered, though i have been lurking on Fc for a long time now. So anyways i decided to get the VHW with the perk water tool after my supreme broke. No one has yet written a review about the perk , so I thought i would give one and ask a few questions at the same time.

The water tool is about 13 inches high and the the base holes about .4 liters of water and the perk itself holds about .125 liters. Four ice cubes can be held in the ice catch, and it does have a defusor.

The quality is pretty close to roor, if not as good. All the glass joint fit nicely, but the ice catch does concern me, there is only one ice notch that juts out and looks like it could be easily broke if too much pressure is applied.

So here are my questions...

How much does blazemaster charge for on of his creations?

My upper bowl and lower bowl wiggle constantly, is there anything i can do about it?

Question 1: Blazemaster charges 45 shipped U.S., 50 shipped Canada

Question 2: Are you sure its not just your upper bowl wiggiling, cause what happens is from the constant taking the top on and off the bottom becomes uneven causing the top to wiggle. Hope that helps

I wonder if a fresh oring on the lower bowl would help that at all. Both my GonG lower bowl and my 12mm wiggle. I thought about trying that but swooped on a BM instead.

Well enough to get THICK vapor clouds. It takes a bit of fussing around at first (finding the exact placement of the screen in the bowl, load consistency, load placement, temp used on the wand, preheat times) but once you find that 'sweet spot' your pretty much stuck in a cloudy overdose of vapor! Seriously this thing will knock your head back and leave you begging for more

I haven't used the VCB bowl provided by vriptech, but a few members have completely converted to the blazemaster bowl vs. the vrip VCB bowl (GONG or not) They say the blazemasta' bowls give better hits (and better ease of use)
:2c:

:peace:

......any way to get a VHW smiley? ;pd;, :ssv:,_____ :brow:

I think Blazemaster charges $50 now, shipped. Still a great value. I am getting stamps tonight to send the fine man some money.

I don't have a BM bowl but figured I'd give you some feedback based on what I've heard.

The BM bowls do not require you to use the silcone tip to make a seal. So while you get a good seal, its not a 100% seal.

The Vriptech bowl gets very, very close to a 100% seal but is two pieces and don't look anywhere as nice.

If you are oK with the silicone tip, perhaps BM can make one with a slightly larger ID so that you can get a 100% seal with his bowls. Just my 2 cents

Wondering how you guys might compare BM's standard bowl hole vs his bowl with ice pinches for a hole. I decided on both. But wasn't sure which worked better. Thanks.

I have no smokes old one which is the glass pinch. He's upgrading to the screen version for better flow and none of your herb will slip through which happens with the glass pinch. Now if you let the vapor honey build up it slows down the falling in but affects air flow. I bet if you actually used these bowls for combustion they'd res up and prevent it. If I were to buy one I'd go with the screen. Unless you don't have a problem cleaning your peice regularly.

On the sealing I'd say they completly seal. I've had my cover off and as long as your holding it at the right angle air only came out the holes like it should

Oh well... It was fun while it lasted.. back to my original hot box vaporizer! :/
Man that sucks :/ You should see if you can get a replacement heater and cover from Mark for a reasonable price, the customer service at Vriptech is far beyond reasonable! :D Cause going from a Wand to the Box is like going from Chipolte to Taco Bell, just not as tasty

Yeah well I didnt feel like telling anyone on FC because I know I would probably get a lot of criticizm. I plan on enlisting in the USMC. In a month or two I will need to be clean to begin my transformation from civilian to marine. I have loved marijuana ever since I started using back in 01... I am only 19 by the way so yeah I was young when I started. So I won't be here too much longer and I initially started vaporizing so I could run and train while still being blazed. It has paid off greatly. To all members who have been respectful to me I will salute you when I come back from boot. God bless and sorry for this long rant haha! BTW, VHW fo life!

My Puerto Rican side of the family, my uncles mostly are all in the military (some Army, some Marine) and I can honestly tell you it changes you, most of my uncles have severe anxiety, depression, and are constantly having to do something and they live their life like they are always late for something, a lot of it has to with the pressure they put on you during boot-camp. They all tell me never join the military unless you feel its a necessity, and you have to. I'm not trying to change your mind i'm just giving you a little bit of what I know. I have one uncle who joined the Army at 17, retired at 42, smokes all the time, as a matter of fact last spring while down in Puerto Rico he tried my PD and bought one almost instantly! full pension beautiful thing, until you hang out with him for a couple of hours and go WTF? Calm Down!

hotbox - don't mean to hijack this thread but since I started it, just curious, why are you enlisting in the marines as opposed to going to school? Like NoSmoke, I have a lot of friends that have joined the various armed forces/services and most of them came back kinda weird to tell you the truth.

For some it did them good cause they needed some structure, but once they got out and the structure was gone, they just became, slightly off. If you met them, you'd think they were cool as fuck but after a couple of hours of listening to them, you're like "WTF happened to this guy?"

I'm sure there are plenty of folks that go in and come out better. I'm more curious what your reasoning is and wish you the best of luck.

Honestly it's the hardest decision ever. I barely even passed highschool. I only did one semester of community college and flunked out. I've always done bad in school mainly because I disliked it so much. I think I am one of those types of people who needs structure in my life. I need a good kick in the ass so maybe I will be more mentally stable to do college work. I'm almost 20 and I feel like I need to do something in my life because I'm not proud of myself nor am I happy most of the time. I could go on and on about it but Im really not trying to hi-jack this thread.. since it is a great thread. It's funny because almost all civilians will tell me what you all have pretty much told me, but the Marines and soldiers have such different point of views. I do think its hard to judge something that you have never done yourself.

Hmm, the ones I know tell me the complete opposite. Heres the story of my aunt Jeisa's husband Steve he joined the military fought overseas, and was basically abandoned by his peers. Its a sad thing, since my aunt has the same condition neither can work and they rely on the little that the Army gives him, but hers happened thru auto body work, when she was in school studying Auto Body in Florida, we were roomies :) It was fun, but Florida herb sucks!

I have set up this page to educate and to be educated. I injured my back while serving in Iraq OIF, while still in Iraq and injured I was given pain medication and muscle relaxers and still oredered to man 50 caliber machine guns and M16's at the main gate of Camp Speicher while under the influence of these drugs. In The Spring of 2004 I returned to Fort Hood and began seeing specialists about my back. It soon became apparent that If I was not welcomed in the Army anymore and was treated like an unfixable piece of machinery and harrassed and pushed to either Medically leave the Army (MEB Board)or give up trying to be treated and possibly fixed. All this pressure came from both my Sergeants and Company Commander. It took two years and two weeks before I was able to have surgery fusing my L3 thru L5 discs together with rods and screws, however my Company Commander from the 664th Ordinance Company refused to follow my Doctors recovery recommendations and I am now faceing another back surgery on my L5-S1. I have spent many hours in the waiting rooms to see my Doctors and have spoken with many injured soldiers who have very similar stories. Its bad enough to be injured however its another to be further harmed by the carelessness, harrassment and degrading behavior from a soldiers senior NCO's and Officers. I am looking for other who are in similar situations so that we can stand together and deal with these people who take it upon themselves to kick an injured Soldier, Airmen, Seamen or Marine when they need their Units support the most. Please post anything you feel can help to my Email address unitedwecan@yahoo.com, when we have a loud enough voice both the Military and the Politicians will have to aknowledge us. I have already gone through the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) system and can offer some advice or suggestions of who to contact that can help you through yours.

hotbox - I used to counsel high school kids and kids just out of high school and the #1 thing I would here is "I just don't like school" or "school isn't for me" - what they didn't realize is, pretty much 80% of the folks feel the same way. Obviously there are those that love learning, but the majority of us, if given the choice, would bypass schooling unless it was necessary.

My point here is, employers look at college graduates not necessarily for what they learned because a large percentage of people don't work in the fields that they studied but what the degree tells the employer is that you can go through a 4 year commitment and stick with it. Anyhow, I think both are viable options for you, the military or school but I wanted to let you know that you aren't the only person who felt like "school isn't for me" - I was like that too. The reality of life is, whether its school or another form of getting educated, you need to be constantly learning and evolving in life, otherwise other's will pass you by.

Good luck in your decision, I will VRIP one in your name HotBox
