What I don’t like about the chamber reducer is that the herb ends up on the sides of the bowl and it gets annoying to clean when you are still not finished
I use it for solo and it is a major league hitter. Imagine a mighty x 5. More weed, more surface area, banging heating and delivery system. One volcano bowl will last a long while for us medicinal guys.$594 from vapor.com with the vape critics code vapenow15Damn I really have my mind set on the new volcano but the cheapest I've found in Canada so far is $850. Anyone seen any better deals for canada?
I got the mighty less than a year ago but I've been really annoyed with the battery on it as I'm a heavy medicinal vaper. I find that I have to charge at least once halfway through the day.
How is this device for mostly solo? I've watched Troy's stream etc and it made me want it more.
So you have to replace the tubing every two weeks?!Just got mine yesterday! First impressions:y
- Technically the manual says you’re supposed to completely replace the Tube after two weeks Hoping I can get a cheap tube from Home Depot or something. The tube material is very firm and not sticky, which is nice.
- Heat up time is VERY quick.
So you have to replace the tubing every few weeks?!
That seems a bit environmentally wasteful, to say the least.
Anyway to clean the tubing. Also how much do they want for it?

That’s just to be hygienic for print. I’ve let tubing go for a long while then just toss them for new. I guess it depends on usage. So you have to replace the tubing every two weeks?!

Is there a way to clean the tubing. Also how much do they want for it?
This wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews btw, even the lengthy ones
It's long been recommended to replace whip tubing regularly and not clean it (though many do still try to clean). Tubing with its properties doesn't clean like glass and SS. How clean is clean is a personal preference as well. One person's clean is another's dirty. So you have to replace the tubing every two weeks?!

I used to live there. So I’ve spent a ton of time looking at that very view.Correct, sir, you know SD
My prediction in that post you quoted was incorrect; it gets hot enough for trates, judging by Troy's video. My Hybrid is still out on loan

just get the plastic one next time. The wife broke my week old Obsidian
A very expensive knock over. The inner piece cracked right off. Be careful out there.
Where did you see it for $850?
I’m pretty sure my Crafty manual said to replace the cooling unit every 25 uses.

I don’t feel this warrants a divorce but I do hope you guys can get past thisThe wife broke my week old Obsidian

Is this sound normal? I rock my Volcano Hybrid back and forth and I can hear something banging around inside.

Thoughts on amount of herb it uses for solo sessions compared to others? Thoughts on chamber reducer not producing as dense a vapor as without?
Here is a question guys, how do you power the unit off? I can turn the heat and air off of course, but to power the unit down? Pull out the plug?? Not in the instructions.
...yep..pull out the plug.
Also the taste is a lot better than I expected, while its not quite as good as the plenty its pretty much on par with the mighty like 420vapezone said.
Been using mine a lot since getting it and I definitely like it way more than my old EQ. My biggest gripe currently is its real annoying when the 2 metal connections stick together forcing you to either heat it up a little or pull it apart flinging shit everywhere. I know its a minor inconvenience that I can fix just by being anal about cleaning it but I'm impatient and have flung ABV everywhere more than I would like to admit lol.
Other than that I am pretty impressed with it so far. The heat up time is perfect so its pretty much replaced my plenty. I also feel like it gets me a lot higher than the plenty. The best thing for me, comparing this to the EQ was that the second bag on the EQ always tastes like straight popcorn where as the second bag on the volcano is actually tasty. The popcorn flavor from the EQ really made me weary about this vape but it never has that popcorn taste. Even the third bag, while it has little to no vapor still doesn't have that popcorn flavor.
