maybe just read through the thread...

there are melting chambers, some metallic residue on the rings where S & B themselves released updated guidelines because of "potential health risks", clips that can´t hold the reducer in place so that it is falling out of the orange ring, discolouring plastic above the heater and an overall cheaper feel to the materials used than the previous volcanoes had. the premium feel is not there for the demanded premium price.

if you are fine with this thing, use it and be happy, no one is trying to take your personal satisfaction away.
but please don´t expect everyone else to be satisfied with the device- especially not when their chambers are melting away

S&B has already accepted it, there are some pictures on here, its all over reddit.

Now people have better things to do than prove the same thing over and over again.

If your a person hired by the company that took over s&b and they are paying you for trolling, then all your multiple posts are understandable coming from such a new user with 15 posts.

P.S - Members here have multiple vaporizers and plethora of knowledge, they spend top dollar on one device for its so called german reputation of being equivalent to mercedes/bmw type stature in the vaporizer industry.

Is this what we deserve ?

I think Storz and Bickel right now is like VolksWagen: German, overpriced, faulty. Last year there was a dieselgate, now there is a volcanogate ahahaha :evil:

This Hybrid should be fool proof. Not! I even had problems with the Classic valve 10 years ago, The legs were always breaking off. S&B never updated the valve. Not sure they will update with this one because the Hybrid is still on sale on there site for 699. I also still see Mickey Mouse sites popping off 15% off still. I think it is an as is sale.

What is wrong with people? This person lives under a rock? Are you that ignorant? Read this whole thread, watch 420vapezone, read reddit its everywhere. One of the online stores pulled it from shelves until further notice, storz-bickel even changed the manual to warn you of the problems. You probably dont even own a hybrid, you sound like an attention getting troll. Mods should ban him for coming in here messing with nice people and being so disrespectful.

We are in every right to be upset with storz-bickel, we paid top dollar for the best desktop vaporizer on the market and at the moment it's not. Until storz-bickel addresses these problems this is junk and I want my money back. Waiting to hear from them, I have a funny feeling we will hear them this week.

Thought occurred to me, what if someone bought it for convenience and the ease of use. now they update the manual and you must clean the device before every use or risk health issues. ( confirmed by sb themselves)
surely this isn't decent for those of us who already purchased the device.. like it's quite an inferior product now and requires more maintaining. apart from the melting housings obviously

I didn’t do a chemical test on the dust, but unless someone dumped glitter on my Hybrid when I wasn’t looking, I think it’s safe to say it’s aluminum from the heating ring.

I just checked my Hybrid. Here is what I found:

- no evidence of any scorching, burning or melting on plastic pieces of filling chamber.

- there was in fact some grayish (aluminum I presume) residue on the surface of the metal ring on the base unit which mates with the bottom of the filling chamber metal ring. Residue was also on that bottom side of the filling chamber ring. There were obvious friction marks as well.

The residue was not exactly substantial but it was there. As far as usage, I have maybe used the hybrid for about 15-20 bags and 3-4 whip sessions.

Does it stand to reason that if you are careful with how much torque you apply when putting the filling chamber on, and you wipe off the two metal surfaces in question before every use, there is likely minimal to zero risk?

I was also wondering - is it a problem to use the metal dosing capsules in the Mighty? I think that SB considers them to be one use only. Is that due to a health concern if they are reused or is it just marketing?

I wasn't referring to you, but now I read your post you are comparing apples to oranges.
You can't compare a broken switch or whatever you said to a possible major health & safety issue that hasn't even been explained properly by the manufacturer yet.
It's not sold as seen, it's not a used car.

I don't think I want it at all.

Tbh before he melting and the alluminum I was still nervous about using it because the taste/pvc/vinyl smell.

I have a solo 2, flowerpot, enano, vapcap, ff2 and others.

The volcano hybrid has/had a different flavor to it. Especially when using he fan. Using the whip didn't have much of the pvc/vinyl flavor. But still it didn't have weed flavor. Idk. Then I put the screen from the hybrid in my solo and that has a weird taste to it. Idk what they make their screens out of... It's all just so bizzare.

The only thing remarkably impressive about this vape is the way it keeps and maintains temp.

Guys I think this whole situation literally blows, but isn't this just the reality of being an early adopter? And maybe putting S&B on a pedestal like they are too prestigious or expensive to have issues? If you wanna call it the BMW of vapes - just remember that BMWs fail, break, and get recalled just like everything else out there.

I bet they are working on a solution right now, but in an era where you're always offending somebody I'm not that surprised they haven't issued a public statement.

I’ve been following the S&B Hybrid story closely and recently joined FC. The day I finally ordered my Hybrid happened to be the same exact day Troy from 420 Vape Zone released his video. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I contacted BloomGroove and they advised me how to return and were very polite and professional. I exchanged the Hybrid with the Classic as a last resort because I wanted to at least own one of the models. Does anyone know if the Classic models are still in production or if the Classic Models are “left-over” from the previous manufacturing of the Classic? It appears that the quality has taken quite the hit since the acquisition by Canopy. I’m a little concerned it won’t be the same quality but I’m also a little relieved that I have the Classic model which appears to have helped up over the past 2 decades extremely well. Should I be worried about the Classic as much as the Hybrid or do you all think I’m likely safe? To be honest, I did go back and forth heavily on which model would be best for me. I already have an EQ so I wasn’t as concerned with the whip functionality as I am with the bag convenience. The EQ glass on glass Bag system is easy but the Volcano with Easy Valve looks even easier. I also watched a ton of comparison vids and although both the EQ and Classic essentially do the same thing many reviewers claim there is a stark difference. I also couldn’t argue with the price including the easy valve system for $329 total including shipping. Thanks for the advice.

Every one of your posts you wrote on FC (from the first one yesterday, when you registered yourself here) is blindly defending SB against every fail report, from many sincere different users.

your agenda is quite clear, and not very smart if your intention is to minimize brand damage
