It's crazy how you can get such even-quality vapor so quickly once you learn the device. The ABV is starting to pile up, did my first cook with it last night (posted the recipe, originally from the finnish hamppu.net forum) .

Tip:

The mesh/screen through which the vapor passes into the tube also accumulates a lot of oil and will eventually start to clog. You'll notice this when it gets harder to draw in the vapor. To replace it, unscrew the four screws of the round middle plate, lift it off and take off the old mesh. It is placed in a small indentation on the wood, so you may need a small screwdriver etc to crank it off it's place.

You can use bong downpipe screens as replacements, the smallest ones should fit as is (I had to push it down from the middle a bit, but it works just fine ) or you can use pliers to cut a bit off the edge.

What about the old, dirty mesh? You can extract the oil with a solvent of your choice, or if you can't be bothered with that, just put it in Venus' bowl like you would your weed and vape up .

And btw, the buzz I got from vaping the oil in that old mangy screen was incredible . It had the accumulated oils of 2-3 different strains, and that really gave a stark contrast to the plain ol' Blueberry I've been vaping lately. Definitely in the Top 10 highs of my stoner career .

Now that I took a look at it to be sure, it has got a very slight yellowish tint. But clearly it doesn't go dirty nearly as quick as the glass.

You could suggest it to the guy on YouTube who does all those vape reviews. Forgot his name, but he's the one who has that video with 20 vapes reviewed in a single video - it should pop up among the first results whe n you search for "vaporizer review".

@ Egzo: The dome is one of the things that interest me in this device because I suppose it really can refresh vapor . I think the light can be really nice ,that's why i bought two domes from different colors.....i'll share pictures of it working ....

concerning video reviews ,I think guys like Vape critic are more concerned by models like ascent or vaporblunt 2.0 who obviously reach for market's first place ....not a critic but I think Venus isn't enough on medias and fashion to interest reviewers like him that are aiming for masses .....no buzz with this Finn stuff ! ......can you imagine this handmade underground thing with his mustard dome and FC's 5 pages thread killing arizer's business in a day even he could be the best whip vaporizer ?

It shouldn't be easy to be a major manufacturer here in this old EU sh..

Heat never bothered me while using HA bags, a dome by itself should affect heat similarily but lets keep in mind there's no halogen bulb in a balloon... This inspires me a game we could launch: pick your bet!...

I'll say you're going to be OKay unless you've got insatiable friends sucking on it in loop.

You'd be surprized how fertile my imagination can become. By the way, i was in the veranda as i often am and took note of the angle by which sunrays hit my clouds: 23 degrees relative to the horizon in front of me...



Relatively to Vape Critic i gave him his point anyway because i believe it's important to reward such level of effort, although his selection didn't include my venerable VaporGenie!
