Ahhhhhhh sheeeeeit!

I forgot to share my amazing experience with @VaporNation regarding my Solo acquisition ....

I left reviews on Trust Pilot, the Vapor Nation review section and in the Solo Thread, I think I may have done another somewhere :hmm:

I placed my order on a Saturday night, and opted for the Free car charger as opposed to the Free rush shipping option.

The car charger is quite handy and costs 23$ ,but with the Freebie package that comes with every purchase over 100$ you get about 50$ ish dollars worth of goods.

Placing the order on a Saturday, I knew VN would not even see the order until Monday morning at the earliest.

I simply shot VN a PM inquiring about an estimated time of arrival, and got a fantastic/Very fast reply...

He put my order in Rush for free!!! Said I should have my new toy by Thursday.

2 days later, a plain brown box is on my porch!!!!
2 day delivery, excellent CUSTOMER CARE, fuck service, @VaporNation cares about their customers, they treat FC members like family...

It goes a lot further than Customer Service, as I was a Customer Service Manager for General Motors for 7 years, and for a fancy Restaurant for seven years here in Colorado. I'm now finally disabled, I've been disabled for a long time, but refused to quit working due to stubborn pride.

Vapor Nation is the Bees Knees, the Cat's Pajamas, very happy with the whole experience.

I do have a question regarding the points system...

I completely forgot to actually set up an account, is an account already established when one makes a purchase?

Not really having that great of an experience with them so far. I placed my order on December 2nd. It's been about 5 days and the order status of the order is still 'Processing'. I called today (the 7th) and a customer service rep told me that my item was due to ship today and I was to receive the tracking information when it shipped. Well, it's about 7:45 pm and I haven't received an e-mail. The order status on their site still says 'processing'. Not really a fan of spending $175 just to read the word 'processing' every day and receive very minimal updates (that are apparently not even true).

We're truly sorry about the delay. We've been a bit behind due to holiday craziness, but are just about caught up.

Thanks, but that won't be necessary. The item shipped out today. I understand you're behind, but I still don't really like that a rep told me when it would ship out and it didn't. Not a big deal since it was only a one day difference, but oh well.

Right on. I'm sure our customer service representative would not have given misinformation on purpose, but certainly a mistake on our end.

11/23: I order HydraBomb
Next day I am told it is out of stock but will be back in stock in 7-10 days.
I say, "No problem, good news." and wait.
More than a week passes and I contact them again.
It will be back in stock in 7-10 days. ????
I say I was told that BS already and the CSR breaks down and tells me that they really don't know when they're coming. At that point I ask for a refund because VXH has them in stock (and now I need a refund for that because of how THEY do business, but that's another story) so just a refund, please.
I am told that will take 3-5 business days.
Yesterday was day 6. I received a receipt for the refund but no money.
I contact Vapornation again and talk to Omar who only makes excuses for all the lies I have been told. He insists that everything is an honest misunderstanding and that it wasn't their fault for selling me something they didn't have and then lying about when it would be restocked and that refunds can take up to 30 days, despite the time I was quoted. Omar started losing his patience with my questions, I think, but wouldn't take any responsibility for the way things have been handled.

While certainly not the kind of feedback we like to see, we appreciate you posting your honest thoughts about your recent experience. I have notified our retail manager and will be discussing how we can better handle situations like this going forward, as this is completely unacceptable, and NOT typical.

Again, my sincerest apologies. Your frustrations are completely warranted, and I would be just as upset if I was in your shoes.

Please know that these issues are being addressed, as we want everyone who purchases through us to have nothing but the best and seamless experience possible.

Please PM us and let me know what, if anything, we can do to keep you as a customer in the future.

I was running a little hot after that last phone call and felt the need to post that angry critique, but would like to point out that although I object to the way some of the transaction was handled, the people I dealt with were nice and made an honest effort to help. Although that call rubbed me the wrong way, I can say that I held Omar's feet to the fire pretty hard and he never broke and got rude.

No hard feelings, VaporNation.

I too have been having a very bad time getting them to cancel an Turbine order because it was out of stock and cheaper elsewhere. I have wrote 8 or 9 times, called a bunch, still not marked as cancelled. They kept making counter offers and all I wanted was a simple cancel. It's been days and days and still not cancellation or refund. I really will think twice ever using them again. They make it WAY too hard.

I too am having an issue with vapornation.com.

I ordered a product on DEC 2 due to their good holiday sale and was notified a week later that the product was out of stock even though it was listed as in stock on the website.

I asked for a refund to which I was told it was being processed... I still have not received my refund after numerous requests and followups , appearently I am going to have to contact my CC company today and dispute the charge in order to get my refund. Based on he previous posts and experiences reflected in this in this thread I would steer clear of vapornation.com as there are plenty of other suppliers with good customer support. I will follow up when this is resolved....

Despite the recent reviews, I decided to give VaporNation a try since they had a good deal on the Herbalaire. I took in consideration that it was the holidays which could have contributed the issues experienced by others.

I was in a position where I could be without the $$$ if I needed a refund. I just went through one and it took almost 2 months to finally get resolved. My credit card company updated me throughout the process and assured me that I would get my money back but it will take time.

My order was last week Saturday and being paranoid that the Herbalaire was not in stock(even though saying it was), I sent an email to their support on Tuesday. I received a very informative email within a couple of hours. The next day, which was the 3rd business day, my order was shipped.

It arrived today which I was pleasantly surprised since I usually have to account for a day or two for living in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Of course USPS must be way more settled then a week ago.

I am very satisfied with my order with VaporNation and will definitely order from them again.

Whatever happened is the past, they have their shit together now. Great work recently from them, got a turbine old style hydratube for super cheap. THEY were better back before the big sales. What a Tube!

For some reason the other day, VaporNation allowed me to add a Walnut Classic Vapman to my cart for $86 ($68 with coupon code). But today, when I updated my cart, the item disappeared, and is charging the full $140. I was so confused when I saw $86, but was so happy at the price, must of been a glitch, bummer, haha.
Just wanted to point it out to you guys :)

Even without the discount code, still had it in my cart at the same price as the Basic. The Classic should be $55 more I believe than the basic, but it wasn't adding the extra $55 when I selected Classic.

So I bought a mivape from vapor nation during the memorial day sale and it came in defective. I mailed it back with the assigned ram number on outside of the box. It takes the accounting department from friday till thursday to declare it is indeed a defective unit. I tell them i'd rather get a credit for something else because i lost confidence in the mivape. That said no problem so I ordered the vapeexhale cloud evo. Then i ask if i can get the discount for this order since the sale has passed. This is when it gets even more messed up. They tell me that sadly they don't allow discounts on credits and can only discount the difference. So if I hadn't received a defective unit from them then I would have saved $70 vs. only saving $30. One star. Except Omar in customer surface; he was cool about it and it was out of his hands.

for anyone worried about shipping: I chose the 'free shipping' option and these guys are ON POINT! they WILL ship your items out FAST!! also AMAZINGLY fast and courteous customer service!
