About the company......

ABOUT VAPORCUP
VaporCup was born from our dissatisfaction with the other vaporizers available on the market. We found that many don't work very well, and most only work for a while, until they get dirty. The VaporCup takes vaporizing to whole new level, making it easy, clean, and comfortable, while allowing you discreet use, a quality important to all of us.

VaporCup was developed carefully and exactingly over three years in Los Angeles, California to achieve three main goals:

1) Best in class performance: The draws are easy and full of flavor. You never knew your herbs could taste this good.

2) Easy to clean: Our removable stainless steel heat chamber is very easy to clean, making each use as fresh as the first.

3) Discreetness: VaporCup blends in with home life as it looks like a very nice stainless steel travel coffee container.

VaporCup is designed to look like your favorite travel coffee mug. When in use it looks like you are sipping your favorite drink. VaporCup heats up quickly and is ready for use when you are. VaporCup comes with a top to lock in odors.

Most Vaporizers get dirty and clogged very quickly, as it is very difficult to completely clean their heating chambers. Over time the heating chamber becomes very dirty and creates a less than ideal environment for vapor. We designed the VaporCup’s heating chamber to be easily removed from the unit and cleaned. This makes every use taste as clean as the first. More than 35 years experience went into creating the VaporCup. We are proud of the VaporCup's cleanability and ease of use.

Each Vaporcup comes with a glass straw that can be pre-packed and comes with caps to keep material and odors locked in. We also sell a 4-Pack of glass straws in a handy carry case as an optional accessory. These can be pre-loaded and ready for use. The internal heating chamber can also be preloaded. You can pack up the VaporCup to take with you, ready for use.

VaporCup includes a long life Lithium Ion battery. Our tests found the battery to last for up to three hours, depending on use. We designed the VaporCup to allow for use while charging, and the VaporCup will also work without the battery inserted, as long as the unit is plugged in.

VaporCup comes out to the box with all the parts you need.
This includes: screens, scoop, tamper tool, cleaning pick, and cleaning brushes.
VaporCup also comes with a privacy sleeve which covers the digital temperature display, making the VaporCup very discreet.

To ensure privacy, all VaporCup and VaporCup.com shipments are discreetly shipped in a plain brown box, and are billed from Perfect Technologies Inc, Henderson, NV.

We offer great customer service and love to hear from customers
We are hear to help if you have any issue at info@VaporCup.com.
You can find tutorial videos on how to use the VaporCup here on VaporCup.com.

We hope you enjoy VaporCup.
We believe that it is the best herbal vaporizer in the world.

Relax & enjoy...

User replaceable batteries is a nice touch and the vapor density looks pretty good (from the video). I wonder how the taste is?

I emailed the company to inquire about additional information.

Yeah typically with those dimensions I would tend to agree but this one looking like a coffee cup (with privacy sleeve) seems to make it a bit more stealthy. I could see this being useful in the car sitting in a cup holder driving down the road. Hitting it would just be like taking a sip of your beverage. The only worry would be someone seeing you blow that cloud out. Which from the video doesn't look bad at all!

Loading it in the stem would be convection imo and in the oven would be both I would assume.

Hey all,

Long time reader, first time poster.
I just wanted to say that I have one of these VaporCups for the weekend.
I am borrowing it from a friend while he is out of town for Christmas to see if I want to buy one.
I have not tried it yet as I have had to stay lucid for Xmas Parties etc., but I will be trying it out tonight.
I am kind of excited to try a new vape.
I have yet to find one I like.

Anyhoo, if anyone wants to know something specific about it, i am happy to try to help.
So far it looks really nice and has a great weight to it.
As for function, I will have more to say after trying it out.
I am charging it up now so I can see it at full strength.

It is hard to find much info about this vaporizer apart from the website.
I am guessing it must be rather new.

Hey welcome!

Looking forward to your experience with it.

What other vapes have you tried that you don't like?

Hey Scott,

I tried:
DaVinci (little square thing)
Vapir NO2 (Pretty good actually)
That "Vapor Brothers" wooden box one with the long whip.
Several "pen" vapes, none of which were exciting. Sorry forgot the names.

Not a huge assortment, but I am just starting my search for a vaporizer.
I like smoking so it will take a really great one to get me to start vaping.

Cool! Let us know what you think.

Whether it's this one or another, I hope you find a vaporizer that allows you to commit to quit smoking! Vaping is a much healthier alternative and there are several other benefits including lower smell and taste.

This is true.
I am an avid smoker, but it would be nice to inhale less harmful things.
I will test this thing out and see how it goes.
I am going to the Dispensary to get some special Christmas herbs to make the test awesome. LOL

That is a good question. I had not even thought of that kind of thing.
Lead would not be good.
I will say that I manufacture kids products and I can assure you that things made for consumers these days, especially on things you eat out of or touch to your skin, have super strict regulations on lead.
Basically, you can't sell items with lead these days, apart from tiny microscopic amounts that are nearly impossible to exclude as lead exists in the environment.
One of our products did not pass a lead test, and it was found that someone had stirred the paint with a metal spoon. That was enough to set off the testing alarms. Crazy small amounts are detected.
Because of that I personally have no worries about lead in this product.

I don't know if the brass chamber is lead free, as who could tell by just looking at it.
I do know that the removable chamber is Stainless Steel.
It is a smart design.
There is a larger brass chamber that is the main heating element, and the Stainless Steel chamber slots into the brass one. The herbs only go in the glass straw or directly into the stainless steel chamber. The Brass outer chamber does not come into contact with any herbs.
The function is great, as I opened it up yesterday and took out the stainless steel chamber for a clean in alcohol. Turns out it did not need it and was surprisingly clean.
I think it is extra clean because I have been using the glass straw.
You put the herbs in the end of the straw and slide it into the chamber.
This means that the herb never touches the actual heat chamber, thus no residue or mess.

I would be interested to hear what you find out from them though.
They seem very good at responding.
I had a few questions that I asked through the live chat on their website, and the guy was really nice and helpful. :)

i was nit picking. was in a right old strop yesterday. The amount of lead is probably negligible and i've personally used many cheap vapes and e cigs over the years so i can't say i'm overly concerned really. the price point is quite alarming though. i'd have to hear some pretty special reports about it to drop 250 on it just now. espesh when there are new products from established manufacturers on the market for around the same price

Looks like the folks behind this are the classic 'ganjapreneur' type. They've also applied for a dispensary license in Clark County, NV, and are known for running bars in Casinos.

They also tout 'More than 35 years experience went into creating the VaporCup' which strikes me as odd as vaping really hasn't been around that long.

vaping has been around for a long time my friend. I had a blue meanie in the early to mid nineties and the principle itself is as old as the hills but i don't think for one second that this has been in development for 35 weeks let alone years

I remember when it first became known in the early 1990s, but it was all heat guns and other cobbled together things. Certainly wasn't around in the 1980s.

Jesus you guys are cynical... LOL
If they say 35 years of experience they probably mean in terms of manufacturing experience.
My company recently got into clothing as a new thing, but we can still say we have 20 years of experience as we have been manufacturing stuff for over 20 years. That is not weird.

As for the price being steep, most of the vaporizers that I have bought were around $250.
My Vapir NO2 was $250 when I bought it, although now it has been out for a few years the price has dropped.
The Volcano, which I liked a lot mainly because it works really well, is over $500.
When the Volcano first came out it was about $700!!!
Now THAT is too expensive for a vaporizer.
I don't mind paying $250 for a vaporizer that actually works.
All the cheap ones I have tried totally sucked ass, so I am not looking at super cheap ones anymore.
I am going to stick to ones between $150-250.

But to each his own.
My smoking buddy won buy anything over $150.
He says it is the principle of the thing, whatever that means.

Dude... don't you think you are proving that you are cynical... :)
I was simply stating that saying your company has X number of years experience is normal even if your product or product category is brand new, if you have years of experience manufacturing other things. Not a weird thing.

I am not rooting for this thing, but why trash it based on nothing.
Personally I am just looking for a vaporizer that actually works, and so far it does.
I have a borrowed one and have used it for the last couple of days.
So I have personal experience with it and I like it.

I actually much prefer smoking to vaporizing, and don't really want to switch, but I am now over 40 and am trying to get more healthy with my inhaling of things and in life in general.
So over the last year I have lost 80 lbs (Yea me!!!) and have looked into vaporizing.
That is my interest in this thing.

I also smoke cigarettes, which really sucks, I know.,.
Ive been smoking since about 1992.
I had originally looked into vaporizers to see if you could Vape tobacco.
Unfortunately I found vaporizing tobacco absolutely disgusting.
I forgot about tobacco and just vaped herbs.
I ended up giving up on vaporizing as all the vaporizers I tried kinda sucked.
It was too much work to vaporize and when the vaporizer craps out half the time it gets old.

I really like this machine, and if I seem to be rooting for it, it is just to give it a fair shake.
I hope to keep liking it so I can feel a little bit better about my inhalation intake.
I just want to keep living for a good bit longer.
I think herbs will help me do that, but not when I am smoking a shit ton of burned plant matter.
