Overall, Great product, even though It's my first purchase of a vape pen, I feel I did I great job in choosing one. Because I always do my research and make sure the product is going to be worth it, which pays off in the end because you do get quality better products. (when searching for a torch for my dome and nail I researched for hours finding the best deal and best product out there and it was so worth it to find the Blazer Big Shot Gt8000, such a great product for those who don't know about it go check it out, qaurantee best price and best torch. anyway back to The Dabbler, Great product, I am happy with my purchase to those of you looking to buy one go buy one seriously stop waiting if you've read this much you should be convinced this is a damn good buy ;)

So I'm thinking that something to carry one's vaping substance in that would fit in the USB charger slot would be good. Something easy to refill and access on the go.

Neat idea, IMO. Some sort of small jar that has threads on the bottom to replace the jack cover on the Dabbler? Something as low tech as gluing on one of the little 5/8 Dram vials you often get grams of oil from the Dispensary in? In fiddling with a similar scheme a while back I had some success with drilling a small hole in the cap of the longer 1 Dram version of that vial and gluing in a piano wire loading tool. I used the scheme used in WWII Garand Rifle grease cups (stored in a cavity in the stock), a similar vial (but larger) of grease with an angled wire for a dipper in the cap. The angle lets you get to the walls to scrap easier. Their wire is spatulated on the end, a nice feature IMO but I balked at going that far. The Germans, at least, had similar grease cups.

I carry around a few round toothpicks.
Wax and oil comes right off it with a twist against any surface (including your fingertips)

You can store it inside a business card folded in half.....
Or you can throw it away after each use.

Excellent suggestion. I like the individually wrapped ones (they stay clean, any junk that goes in with the oil stays there.....). In use I find you can stuff the messy end back in the wrapper and safely put it back in your pocket.....no need to litter (not that a small piece of wood constitutes litter IMO).

Fun idea, never thought of attaching the vial......seems SC is not just another pretty face? Who'da thought?

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
You know, to be fair, I bet you'd look a lot more handsome if you combed that hair and got some nice glasses (regarding your avatar picture)

Any idea how difficult it is to Dreadlock a dog?

Speaking of Avatars...yours always reminds me of Oliver J. Dragon (Kukla, Fran, and Oliver)....but perhaps OF is the only one old enough to remember that show....

Alright, I said I would go to sleep but I decided to vape a little bit more of this here Agent Orange I had, and then totally remembered that I forgot to stalk the post man today! Ran out to the mailbox, found a small package for me from "Not @VaporWarehouse" addressed to a certain Mesoamerican deity...

Let me just thank VW again for the contest, they were kind enough to gift me a Dabbler of my choice. I'm really happy to say that inside of my package, along with my stainless steel Dabbler, was a small green concentrate container! I thought the container felt a bit heavier than I was expecting... hell, they didn't fill it for me, too, did they?

Nope! Ceramic core, baby! Fully charged and ready to rock with one of each core. I got "the kit" for sure! Honestly I have to say I was surprised at how small the actual case is when put away. Smaller than my scale so it'll fit right in when in storage.

I don't want to give a full review just now, but my initial impressions are very good  I've been telling a few of my friends about the better oil pens but feel kinda bad when I pass the Revolution because they're hard to source nowadays. The Dabbler feels years better in the hand than "those other pens." As for performance... :D I adapted quickly from my usual "engage Revolution for X seconds" to "hold for 8, let go, hold again". I think my friends will like this one.

Thank you VW! @vaporbrothers, I'm digging this!

A question, if I may. I noticed the threadings on this include the 510. I've got a ViVi Nova Mini for ejuice that I currently run on my TV Ultra (IMR 14500 3.7v)... well, being 510 threaded, Dabbler having the 510 threads... I think the button will be a bit more forgiving some days than the slide switch of the Ultra. I'm cool to run it at that setup? It has interchangable coil heads at 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8 ohms. Currently running the 1.8 ohm but I'm going into the shop soon so I might add a couple different heads to my juice purchases. Can you guys point me in the right direction here regarding this? I'm not trying to break this, I already like it too much! I would have pm'd but I think the question might be relevant to those who're browsing and might have wondered the same. If not, no biggie, could always just get another eGo battery (I lost one that I got soon after. Interestingly enough, it was just the battery) but if I can keep my device count down and save a few bucks, why not?

Thank you! Now it's really time for bed :smug:

guess not eh?

@2clicker sorry I forgot to reply to your question. As of now the answer is no. And the is no word on when or if the tubes will be available again.

Edit: I just sold the last ceramic core heater right after posting this reply. Not sure when they will be available as well. Hopefully sooner than later.

@VaporWarehouse you're scaring me with all this talk of "when or if" accessories will be back in stock.

I never even got to try the glass tube dammit! The ceramic core is very nice though.

Don't worry, they'll be back. I just didn't want anyone to get their hopes up that Santa might be bringing them this year. Of course Santa could always prove me wrong. :)

Sorry guys, we've had a lot of delay trying to catch up with the manufacturer. The factories are behind at this time of the year so these new products are taking a while to get here.

@Quetzalcoatl Vape-Pen asks that we don't honor the warranty if the Dabbler parts are mixed with other brands. The ohms/volts don't match up well enough.

Hey guys, first time poster here. Been lurking these forums for the past week or so doing my research on candidates for my first vaporzier. Decided that the Dabbler was a vaporizer that suited my needs at a very affordable price. Ordered it over the weekend from Vapor Warehouse. Arrived in 3 days from the San Fransisco area to the Los Angeles area. Came pre-charged, thanks for that. Decided it would be a good idea to charge it to full to make sure. Followed the instructions on initial dry run to 10 seconds. Loaded up a small chunk of wax that was about the size of half the coil. Melted it on a bit and screwed on the tip. Held down for about 3 seconds, took a slow inhale. Had a funky taste to it, probably the wick? Anyways, finished the wax off and noticed that the white light is staying on indefinitely. Now, I searched google, found a post on here by Vitoli with a couple of suggestions on how to possibly fix the issue. Unfortunately, it had no effect. So, would the next step be to contact VW about a possible return? Hating the fact that I will have to wait another week to take a true test drive

Yeah sounds like it. Is the heater screwed in properly? Button isn't obviously sticking? My Dabbler light cuts out when I let go of the battery. VW will take care of you!

Put a firm twist on the heater. Had no problems during the dry run. Button clicks like it would normally. I hope so :\

Sounds like the issue I had, sorry to hear that. If it helps, I don't recall of anyone else reporting similar issues so welcome to our exlcusive club.

You should contact VW asap letting them know in detail what is going on. They will most likely send you a replacement battery and a pre-paid shipping label to send the defective battery back. They're cool like that.

Happened to me as well. They should replace if it's within 90 days. Pretty quick replacement in my experience. The battery I have now works like a charm.

Hello, welcome! By the numbers, Dabbler has a really great reliability but that still leaves the possibility that some do weird stuff, so sorry that happened to you. The battery getting stuck on is an item that Vape-Pen was just telling me about- hopefully solved permanently by boosting the size of a component in the circuit. There are a ton of things that can go wrong in a micro circuit, but if a problem seems to be recurring, the designer gives it special attention.

Funky taste- now that is our specialty- so I really want to know if that happened (again). The wick is the most stable piece of glass you can imagine, so not a chance it could break down with the heat of the coil. In my experience, the material you put in is the biggest cause of funky tastes, especially because vaporizing at the low temperature of Dabbler keeps the flavor molecules intact. But anyway, if there is any chance the Dabbler produced a taste, or even just seemed to- we'd like to know more.

Thank you.
