Misinterpreted the posts. I'm happy with the size of the unit, I thought the solo was a perfect size. I really think this portable section needs to be split into two sections "stealth" and "portable". I'm gonna take one of OF's favorite sayings around here "if it's not one things it's another" could it be smaller yes, would it have the battery life or hit as hard? No.

Excellent point! Of course! You can leave the glass at home (or put it in the big pocket of the raincoat you use to flash the kids at the bus stop....oops, wrong forum again....).

You can go around quoting who you want of course, but I suggest quoting that guy isn't going to improve your image very much......

Thanks for pointing out the obvious, it got past me more than once.

The water tool is just an option. I think this is still small enough to be in your pocket or bag. Its nice to have the water option if you can use it.

Exactly! Where were you with your useful insights when I could have really use them?

Sorry guys, I've been real busy with the launch of this product. Just a heads up, I'm running a few days behind with the tester units I am sending. I would say I will have them all shipped by Thursday. Thanks for your patients, I will answer all questions and supply more video soon.

Thanks much for the update, for sure you've got a lot on your plate. This is an exciting project, please "take all the time you need to do a good job" as the saying goes. Half baked gear we can get almost anywhere these days, but gear that's redesigned carefully based on 'lessons learned' has great promise.

We can wait, won't like it, but we can do it if we must. The reward seems mighty attractive from here.

Well I can add this to the list of "portables I'm waiting to see how they go". VERY interested. Portable water filtration and long battery life have been high up on my list for a while now. Of course I am nervous to go with a new vape after my solo experiences, so I'll be patient and see if I have more money to toss around after the holidays.

I'm mostly concerned with materials/safety type stuff, so anything you can say about the construction regarding these points is a huge plus for me.

I wouldn't want to make it easy on the companies that copy everything (like my stir knob that's in like 3 dif vapes right now)

coughcoughWizVape claims they have the only built-in stirring systemcough cough

Was just wondering when I'd spot an actual video, and it was on the next page, heh. And although I probably won't end up getting it, it's good to see progress happening with your company. At the very least, it doesn't look like someone's trying to hit a nightstick ;)

Man, if this turns out to be like a little smoke bomb in my palm, I am all over it. Can't wait to see a rip directly from the mouthpiece.

Yea, and a rip from the oil attachment. This looks like it can be a nice all in one vape for flowers and oil.

Puffit has a built in stirring system. No matter if you like or hate the vape it was done already.

Without going back to check, I think the original VB was out before Puffit? And even then the stir feature was built into VB from release rather than being a retrofit.

Not that it really matters, IMO, neither would be able to patient the feature. Well they could pay the money and get the paper, but they'd never be able to defend it in court (the true test) since it'll fail the 'not something readily apparent to someone skilled in the art' test. All their Perry Mason would have to do is show a few other roasting systems (like say coffee...) that use a stir feature and you're toast.

Neat feature (notice Puffits doesn't really work though?), but not art.

I thought it was a new feature:shrug: . I never read about version one since it was old and it didn't seem to be a first choice for most.

Yar, the vaporblunt thread on FC began about half a year before the PuffIt

with a ss airpath I'm not expecting glass-like taste.
I feel the stainless does it's purpose well. I did not like the idea of glass here, mainly because it breaks, and I found that it tasted the same with both. keeping things clean is way more important than what the air path is made off IMO
Thanks for the vid.
I'm a bit discouraged by the size. The water tool appears to be the size of the Cloud tubes. The box art and side by side pic led me to think it was quite a bit smaller, pocket friendly in fact. That made me look beyond some of the bad press the VB1 received.
I'll keep my eye's open but my interest has lessened.
Best of luck with this.
The box art is shot looking away from it, so I understand why you'd think that. Here's the facts. The vb 2.0 easily fits in my pocket, but the water tool doesn't. That is what so great about this machine, take it on the run and use it traditionally or bring the water tool with a simple carrying case to you friends house for a session. It's this versatility that makes this a must own.

Pocketable is a big plus in my book. SS Doesn't bother me a bit, the solo tastes fine with the SS bowl....with an internal air path I really wouldn't want a glass air path especially in a portable unit just because I don't want to open the whole unit up to clean it without breaking anything.

TRVB can you shoot a quick video without the water tools? I would really like to see the vapor production through the mouth piece. I would mainly use it as a portable but when the time is right I will pull out the glass.

Luckily I ran out of money. Looks like I WILL get the chance to try this after xmas if I'm still interested. Bills > new vapes as far as my wallet is concerned. Too bad my mind doesn't agree...

Gotcha, will be up by Monday night, I'm still waitin on my screens to arrive, I've been promised I'll have them Monday. The only thing holding all this up is a little simple screen, pretty frustrating. As soon as I have it I'll get up another video

Also please let us know how hot the unit gets and if the mouth piece gets hot because of the length of the air path.

I think the airpath between this vape and the solo are different. The solo has a SS heating element, but most of the air is coming from the space inbetween the stem and the ring so the airpath on the solo, while it does come into contact with the SS element, is mainly glass and not really internal. With the VB 2.0 it is an internal airpath, i believe, the air goes through one side travels through SS and then is inhaled from the other end. I could be wrong though.

Also, i dont think a glass airpath means you have to take apart the unit to clean. VXC, vivape have complete glass airpaths and you do not need to take apart to clean. SSV is an almost all glass airpath except for the ceramic heater in the middle and you only need to clean the glass cover if you cough into it.

Wish i was one of those getting a tester unit :-( bummer

keeping an eye on this thread...

can't wait for the first reviews!

Same here, as I really fancy a portable vape.

I already have an EQ which is great and I love the vape you get with it, but I get fed up continuously pulling it out my plastic storage box, plugging it in, vaping and then un-plugging and putting it away...as I have a little one in the house and don't really like having it on show when she's about, so I really only have it on show after her bed time...I was watching the MiVape thread as I quite fancied that, but after Vaporfection being caught shilling, that has now been dropped...so it's now a toss up between the VB2, TV's Cera or the Wizvape, but that's not due out until next spring...so it looks like either the VB2 or Cera...so let the reviews roll in and then I'll part with my cash....I can say though, that just by looks and the accessories that will be available the VB2 is a nose ahead of the Cera....but we will let the reviewers be the judge.

Here's a quick update: 2 test units have been sent to stu and OF, and 2 more will be sent out to pcpvapors and sticksandstones next week when I get all the parts needed. These units are 99% final, but a few tweaks are still being made. I look forward to the reviews, and as always I am available for any questions. These are the only 4 test units available, so I appoligize to everyone that has asked me for one that I couldn't supply, I will have the FC discount code soon!!
