@darius : try to find the forum section called "Success Stories", where FC members tell how they managed to quit combusting. I think it's safe to say that the majority of us here came from a strong smoking background and we all managed to quit after a variable amount of time.
I'm not saying it will be easy, at first you will have the impression that you are missing part of the high compared to combustion, but you will soon realize that this sensation was not coming from the plant itself but instead from the many nasty by-products of combustion: carbon monoxide, tars of all kinds, a shitload of carcinogenic free-radicals and the list goes on... (and I'm not even mentionning tobacco which is often used in conjunction)
This nasty "cocktail" puts your immune system on red alert, and this has the side effect of making you more tired, which people mistakenly associate to the C. high (or rather "stone" in this case)
You will have to "rewire" your brain such that it associates the vapor high to a positive feedback/reward. Taking a t-break like @KidFated. suggested can be a solution. But you can also keep combusting for a short while until you get used to vaporization, then after a month you will realize that you get much less pleasure out of combustion (it will taste so gross you will find it more and more disgusting, then you will also realize that it makes you more tired but with a less intense high compared to vaping)
At some point you will realize that smoking is pointless and only has disadvantages and you should be able to quit for good.
My last two cents: try to use your vap2 at higher temperatures in order to get the full spectrum (lower temps = more flavors but also heady high, high temps = more couchlock, closer to smoking) then later you'll be able to enjoy the low temps without craving for the stone effect.
