Two days into vacation and two sleepless nights. Words can barely convey how much I miss my little Swiss-made sleep-aid!
Comparable in amount of product used with the edge to the Vapman. The Lotus is without a doubt miserly too. Both vapes can do the job using very little.
The Lotus, for me, gives the best effects of any vape I have ever used.
I didn't jump in yet because of price and because it needs a grinder. What i love about the Vaponic and Lotus is the easiness to use, pack and clean.
Just finished my first session with my brand new Mica Vapman. First impressions:
Tiny but beautiful. What a small bowl. Stinky, I hope it's just the oil finish on the wood (pear?) burning off. Ouch! Keep your fingers out of the way of the heat path! A bit tricky to learn how to use (still learning). Great taste. Fun to use/fiddle with. Really gets the most med out of each pinch. Not for cloud chasers. Requires privacy (not stealthy) but when you have the time and place, this is one fine bit of kit. Once I really learn how to use this thing I'll post an update.
Granted. This is my first "torch driven" vaporizer. I'm comparing it to my Pax...I don't recall any unusual odor when I started using mine, but yeah, it could be the wax gasing off or something I suppose. I do know that if you try to pack too much into the bowl, you'll likely have some weed dangling outside of the lunar capsule-like bowl/ filter assembly.....or whatever it's called that'll combust and will definatly blow any attempt that you've made to be stealthy.
I will say that the Vapman is about as stealthy as you're going to get with a torch driven vaporizor.
The Hammer is pretty stealthy..i have passed mine off as an asthma inhaler when I was using it out once. I said it was a new herbal kind. Only thing I hate about the hammer even though it is butane..it has a pretty long warm up time. 20secs or so.Musicslv, yeah it's going to be pretty difficult to casually take a drag off of any torch based vape without seeking at least a little concealment.
Of my three type of lighter vapes, I think the VM is the least crack-pipe like. Though lately I've been taking the teak vapor genie for a spin around the block and thinking it's easily explained away as an old man's tobacco pipe. The Lotus on the other hand would be the most difficult to explain away should someone barge in on me during use.
I've done it, but I used a mflb water pipe adapter. The tube is pretty close in size of the vapman mouthpiece to you can fit it right in.Did someone of you guys tried to hook up the vapman with a glass piece with a 14mm joint?

Yes, it fits into a 14mm joint nicely.do you mean the original wpa, without the whip? i have no idea of the dimensions of the vapman. would it fit in a 14mm joint with or without the mouthpiece or am i completely on a wrong track here?
Yes, it fits into a 14mm joint nicely.
The lesson to be learned here then is to never doubt me?Why, oh why, would I doubt for even an instant that you'd tried this?
Stu, you make it worth while some days......thanks.

To be honest, I can't recommend using the Vapman with glass. It's better suited to other situations IMO, and your glass is as well.
It's my patriotic duty to buy foreign stuff and fuck around wit it

I can't help but try this type of stuff because it's the American way. It's my patriotic duty to buy foreign stuff and fuck around with it.
I have noticed from my vape collection that a telling mark of a good vape is how often you use it when you have several choices. I use my Vapman everyday without fail.
Agreed.
Based on recommendations from the FC populace, I picked up the $30 creme brûlée torch from Bed Bath & Beyond today. The thing is massive and the flame is very big as well. Can't wait for a chance to try it out. Doubt I'll hit 5-6 seconds of flame-on with this beast!
Agreed. Even when throttled back it's a monster. "Don't shoot a sparrow with a cannon" comes to mind......
I used mine for a while but went back to the $3 ones from China, IMO a much better match.

Loud howls commence, destroying all possibility of stealth (picture the scene from Young Frankenstein where the monster almost gets to smoke a cigar...).
The Honest looks like it's about the right size to be a tumor on the creme brûlée torch.
