Vapman

Did anyone listen to the livestream? I was waiting to win the Purple Heart 😂. I was listening off and on, But was surprised they are machining everything themselves. Kinda cool and probably cost effective. Maybe that allows them to sell it so cheap. I’m sure prices will go up.

How is the click so cheap compared to the 2.0 and the og? Is 99 a sale price or promotional etc?
The $99 one is unfinished cherry with a a protective char rather than mica. Otherwise it's exactly the same, and that's its regular price.

There are two other Clicks that are more expensive, though. One's Walnut and the other is Purple Heart. Both are finished and protected by mica.

No thoughts, head empty
Finally caved and picked up one of the cherry clicks! Will reread the thread when I get home in case it’s been asked already, but does anyone know how well the clicks handle smaller doses? 0.2g is much more than I usually consume in a sitting, but I assume 0.05-0.1g will work decently well?

It does just as good of a job as the og with smaller amounts… if not a little bit better even.

Grabbed a cherry myself. @Squidge, you wanted to know about shipping to the UK, the shipping was free. I'll let you know how long it takes if you like.
I grabbed one too, along with an Italian Walnut case and a clear egg. Lol

What I was actually wondering about is how much UPS are going to charge for Customs and their own admin for prepaying it on our behalf.

Unless something significant has changed in the last 4 months, my last Vapman arrived in the UK 5 days after purchase, and zero customs charges.

I also pulled a trigger on Walnut click version yesterday after purchasing Dani 2. This combo will keep me entertained for a long time I hope ;-). Just need to re-read the thread to find some lighters suggestions as I'm totally new to this method. Ih was and still is fully efficient for me, but decided to check what's all the hype about with butane technique.
Peace!

It’s quite easy: the vapman one.
Or: an angled lighter with a large tank that is reliable.

You will probably pay 20% customs fee. The cut off is around £135. One of the reasons I went for the Cherrywood as I wanted a case as well for under 135.

Got my shipped email already this morning. Amazing turn around considering new product launch + general Black Friday orders. Very good for a small team. Wouldn't surprise me if they had them boxed up ready for a shipping label before they went on sale.

I expected 5-7 days until shipping. A+

They packed it before the live stream last night and probably after the stream as well...
Nothing was pre packaged.

They are working like crazy...

Spyder. You on here?
I'm an old hippie fart and don't know shit from shine ola lmfao bud but I've started vaping recently and I can barely navigate my phone much less these forums or chat rooms etc.
I have a couple questions you could probably answer and one that may take a bit of research.
Can you help me 😭 🙏?

I ended up grabbing a pure Cherry. I've always preferred the aesthetics of the pure models but have felt that messing them up (which seems more or less inevitable) would probably bother my OCD side a little too much. So I'm hoping the new pre-charred design helps out with that, and also to minimize any smoke coming from the wood. 🤞

I'll probably use tung oil for the finish, if needed.

I think the pb-207 is a top notch lighter overall, but I personally find the minimum flame length to still be slightly too much for the Vapman. At least with the pre-click models. Just a heads-up for potential buyers.

On that note, is it advisable to apply wood butter/oil, around where the device is heated? Where the protective Mica would normally be. Would this protect the wood more from the flame, or make it worse?

I had 3 pb 207s and they all failed
Were they branded Blazer or Prince ? I think there were Blazer branded knock-offs at one time...

Dont wax the pre charred part or the wax will burn.

Have 4, 5 or 6? vapman lighters and only my first died after some years
for me its completely the other way round: pb-207 never failed on me.. do you use very good butane and empty it regularly? and the vapman lighters crack on the plastic, they spit when half empty and do not work in certain angles...

on another note: walnut turned out gorgeous!
