I don't see it that way. The business is still real, in fact it's 'up for sale' so someone else can carry on? More like suspended production?
René is still honoring warranty and other obligations but is not offering VMs to new customers. Hopefully someone will take him up on the offer. Or perhaps, if we're lucky, after moving his shop........

How to clean the metal intake holes? Been whipping the bowl out with Qtips and apparently it has clogged the intake holes. Thanks.

I use a fine copper wire, 22 AWG I believe, fished carefully up from the bottom end. I then pull it out through the pan end (it's maybe 4 inches long). The trick is to 'do it like porcupines make love' (very gently), don't risk bending the tubes.
The wire doesn't have to fit all that tightly, in fact you could probably do a good job with several strands of the fine wire used to make flexible lamp cords twisted together. The idea is to sweep the junk out of the tube as it's pulled through, not push it out ahead of the wire.
Probably the best way to experiment with plugging the holes is with tape (like 'Scotch tape'), more permanent is to use the tips from round toothpicks which can be cut or even broken off. But try the tape first, almost everyone experiments here but 'all' of us went back to the way they were designed to work. It seems reasonable that various size, number and placements of the holes were explored in development.

Just to give everyone an update here. Rene was all set to send me out some units in Pear, Yew and Walnut. Went to the post office to drop them and was told no more shipping...so we are all stuck until the world is in much better shape.
Also he will be making and selling some exotics directly along with Stations to be made available for sale directly. Of course after shipping opens up.
We are all bummed I know but there is light when this all blows over and I hope we all agree there are more important things to worry about now.

Great news, mixed with a true buzz kill from the bureaucrats. Here in 'woke' California we're under lockdown, can't leave home except for essential business. This includes working in safety or law enforcement, doctor's visits, buying food (stores and take out only), gasoline and banks. And.......Dispensaries to stock up on necessary herb and extracts are open! Yes, runs to meet Johnny are allowed but you still have to stay six feet from other folks. Most dispensaries are cramped to start with, so this often means lining up outside (again at six foot distances). At least one big dispensary in my area has a drive up service, you order what you want, drive into their 'secure lot' and a clerk brings you your goods.....cash only. In a plain sack? Like days of old.
But if it's deemed an essential business, how dare the Swiss PO stand in the way! Who do they think they are? Where's NATO on all this?
Top notch news about more VM and Stations in the wings, for those who survive of course.

I have a fitting AC/DC Adapter with the output:
12V - 3A
Could I use that to check if the Station works at least?
Sorry I don't like to take any money until I am certain I will receive product. We just need to wait this out.
