The first 100 units he stated were spoken for on the first day the pre-orders were open.

while i enjoy all of these updates, as always it leaves soooo much room to speculate. the truth is there is no real date yet on when the most of us will get our units. and the anticipation just builds.

anyone want to start a little office pool about when most of the clouds will really ship?

i see this first 100 units getting made, then there being some kind of problem or problem(s)....there always is...from there if their manufacturer is legit and they find a CC merchant, maybe March or April???

My guess is April 20th, for a real launch date....anyone want to make this interesting since we have no where really left to go in this thread?

I do use the LSV... often.
I did forget all about the MagickWand. When I use it the heat doesnt bother me.. I have a few bowls, and I just leave it attached to bong to cool!
The VXC will be a pleasure to do some testing and comparisons with!

Keep dreaming ;-) But yeah, I think this thread is kind of at a stand still and losing steam. I'm still patient, but slightly bummed that only 100 will be available in early January. I'd be stoked if the first 1000 or so came out before Feb/March...but Apr. 20? Man, that will be unbearable! lol

Whatever...keep at it boys...in time....you know how hella awesome it's gonna be!

First I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope everyone is enjoying tasteful clouds of vapor with there friends and famly this weekend; I totally understand and feel the frustration and anticipation everyone who has been following this thread for a long time. I'd like to remind all of you, that only a few months ago I stood on the other side of the spectrum regarding the cloud and now behind the walls Vapexhale labs I can assure all you that this team is capable of launching a game changing product and Im confident we will; unfortunately we have to conduct our execution of this goal with a business perspective and ensure that Vapexhale labs can survive this launch so that for many years to come we can stand behind our products and develop new revolutionary systems for vaporization.

There is nothing more this team wants but to get the cloud in your hands as soon as possible; and i promise as one whom once dreamed of the cloud, I will work my ass off to get this goal accomplished as fast as it possibly can.

agreed...this is a clear part of their marketing strategy here..most other companies would vaguely delay it out a few months or so, (like vaporfection has done with the mivape, 12/28 to now March 2012)

I disagree, I don't think it's part of their marketing strategy at all. These guys (and especially SM55) are simply vapor enthusiasts who like me love this forum. I don't think they "planned" any of these delays and if they could have launched 6 months ago they would have. Don't forget, this isn't a company like Arizer, that have release a few different vapes and have the business model (not perfected) by at least worked out. This is all new to them, and especially with building from the ground up you can always expect the unexpected.

It's not hype to me at all... I simply don't want any other home based vape other than this, and I will wait as long as it takes. I can't think of a vape company I respect more than these guys right now for not only being so open, but these guys are very INTELLIGENT and educated. They have been around the block here for a couple of years and very shortly we are going to awe at the fruits of their labor, as the beta testers can attest to.

If anyone is pissed and wants to give up a preorder please don't hesitate, however you can see that simply is not happening. The only one thing that i've been quite spooked about (being an early adopter of the Solo) is being an early adopter. I may actually give up my own preorder to wait just a little bit. Especially after the Solo and Plenty releases (both very established companies in the vape game). I do have the confidence in VXL, but I also used to like sell my soul for Arizer, I was that much of a fanboy. Being from Canada, I don't think the warranty process could go as smoothly, and I still am not too stoked about a minimal 1 year warranty for a $350 piece of technology. I think I can live with this once they get their CC straightened out because my CC extends warranty by a year, so 2 years for the price of 1, not to mention 1% back from the CC company lol

I just hope and think, the QC will be TOP NOTCH, and hopefully warranty will not even be a factor.

I think i'm more excited about those lucky first 50 or so maybe 100 units shipped in the next week or two, and hearing their unbiased reviews and experiences than I am getting my own Cloud in the next hopefully couple of months!

Will be a nice day when this thread gets closed, in a good way

do you still use the PD as often, after your efficiency testing showed that d cloud can do tiny amounts?

I usually have three vapes in my rotation, mostly due to vaping routines around the family and kids. It used to be the SSV, PD and a portable. Now it is the Cloud, PD and a portable. The Cloud replaced the SSV, my heavy hitter. I still use the PD consistently, as for me it is a requirement to have something I can sneak off to and immediately hit, and the PD is always on and warmed up.

That's the nice thing about having complimentary vapes. They all have unique features that make them excel in their designed element. And everyone's routine and requirements are different. If I were single and dope was out in the open in my house, I would probably use the Cloud exclusively and just load and dose accordingly. But like I said, there are times when I just have five minutes to sneak out and dose up. My only vapes I can do this with are the always on PD and a portable like the LB or VG.

Sticks, if the warmup time of the Cloud is 2 mins or so, then it should fit the bill for that. But I guess it's more about stealth too.

I can definitely see the need for a portable to complement the Cloud, for the backyard patio, etc.

Fuck I CAN NOT wait for VXL to release a portable....oh, it's gonna happen, maybe not for a looooong while, but it's gonna happen!

something tells me they hit a snag and are not letting us know about it, one bigger than just cc processing. That would only take a few days to hammer out. My guess is they cant build the units for some reason
