I'm gonna find out for myself in a little over 36 hours! NGL, a little nervous, but only because I'm certain to be further searched (I have medical equipment). I'm dividing and hopefully conquering.

I've brought capsules of THC in my pill bottles of identical herbal pills, but I'm too scared to bring anything else on a plane. Vape rentals would be a GREAT idea for legal states because now I would go and buy one and feel like I have to junk it at the end of the trip.

I ended bringing my Air with my extra battery in my carry on and a water tube, ed's stem, reg. stem in my checked bag (and other things other places). I had no issues on that front (although I wanna know why I always get ogled and groped instead of one or the other) and I didn't bother to clean anything. I was only going domestic and my usual disclaimers apply-YMMV, don't try this at home, etc.

Opted out of bringing my Summit. It's pretty easy, though. Just put in checked baggage.

Depending on the destination I would probably bring my Mighty (after cleaning the oven) but with a brand new cooling chamber. Although I'd be worried about small bits of AVB with traces of THC that may have fallen inside the unit through holes in the oven. It is possible that bits could fall inside right?? This would only cost around £13 for a new cooling unit which is great but planes make a stoner paranoid.
IF the above still feels a bit risky then I would get a brand new MFLB for as cheap as possible as a throw away.
I'm not really into traveling with gear on planes. Good excuse to taste the local delicacies.

Research two things-any reports about the new hyper-sensitive smoke detectors on your ship and any weird Bahamian drug busts on cruises (there is a fleet out there that appears to have a kickback deal in place). I'd also check out penalties for the different ports your'e supposed to visit. Caution above all!

I went on a cruise around the Mediterranean recently but DIDN'T bring my vape. I was quite happy to have a T-Break.
If you are cruising from your home country I believe it would be quite possible. There is high security whilst getting onto the ship, however a clean vape shouldn't cause suspicion. The harder part would be the herb, and i'm sure we can come up with imaginative ways to conceal it, I would say it's better off buried deep in your luggage.
The other option is to get herb when you are at port for a day and going into a town, when coming back on the boat there are lots of metal detectors but you would be able to walk back on with a bag of herb no questions asked.
In terms of where to use it, outside would have been best, and had I had mine I would have been able to use it outside very very easy. There were specific smoking areas and I doubt the smell of a vape will overpower 40 fags all being smoked at the same time. In the evenings many of the decks are fairly empty and you can use it anywhere.
You could probably use it lightly in your room, if you're careful to blow the vapor under the duvet or something to dissipate it.
I had to fly from the UK to Spain to start the cruise and no way i'm bringing herb through an airport with my family. I could have just bought the clean vape and attempted to get some along the way but I normally take holidays as a forced T-Break. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the 12 days off, and even more so the high when I got back!

I got stopped by a newbie tsa agent when going through the security at DIA. They ripped through all of my gear and belongings, testing my vapes for bomb residue and then had a police officer + police dog sniff all of my equipment. I didn't actually have any cannabis with me, just paraphernalia (bong, vapes, grinder, etc.), but they took nearly 45 minutes with me and really gave me a good scare. I'm a medical patient who was returning to SFO and after politely consenting to their rigorous screening, I was finally cleared through security.

Buy some Carmex lip balm. It comes in those little round metal containers. Take the lip balm out, place parchment paper on the bottom, place a gram of wax on top and cover with parchment paper, put lip balm back in. Perfect... Then just bring a clean pen.. No worries..

LOL LOL......that is how I use bring loose leaf when I use to traveled for business..... scrape it out ...put bag in bottom....cover it back up... I thought of doing it this time too....LOL!!!

Just thought I'd pipe up on travelling in country in Canada ...
Just got back from a trip where I went through security both in Northern Ontario and Montreal, and neither wanted to see my papers or anything ... I declared I had medical cannabis in my carry-on baggage, at security before they passed it through the scanners, and asked if they wanted to see my paperwork, and both agents (in Montreal and Northern Ontario), waved it off quickly and didn't want to see anything and I went through as fast as if I didn't have anything.
Extent of it was the person reading the scanner at the Northern Ontario airport said ... "that's what's in the jars?" ... to which I answered ... "yes." ... that was it. No one checked my papers.
Long story short ... even without any medical license or legal right to carry ... I could have easily travelled with an ounce or two. (I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, as maybe you will be unlucky and they will want to screen you with the RCMP and will check your paperwork ... but I don't know ... seems like they are under direction to just let it go ... Thanks Trudeau government!!!!) In previous years, when I've flown, I've had everything inspected, had to have conversations with RCMP (Canadian National Police for the Americans

I have traveled to the DR with an imag plus and gifted it to the gentleman I purchased some herb from on the beach at the end of my trip. I walked around the resort and on the beach using the vape and no one gave me a second look. I'm going back in a couple of months and am considering bringing either a Firewood 3, Crafty, or another throw away cheap vape. If I brought the Firewood, I would bring a new capsule and discard before leaving. If I brought the Crafty, I would bring a new CU and again discard before leaving. Tough decision.

Honestly your best bet is mailing it. I went to visit my mom so I just mailed her my Crafty instead of risking taking it on the plane. If you are staying at a hotel you could always mail it to the hotel and have them hold it for you until you get there. I work at a hotel and have people do this all the time.

I'm not really worried about bringing the vape there, it's the return trip to the US that scares me.
