Vapes in hotels

I've vaped several times in hotels with never a problem and I live in WA. Maybe that was one stinky vaporizer. Also you need to keep your cannabis in something that is smell proof. That could be what gave you away? I like to use a CVault.

They are probably looking to charge people that extra fee to make more money. ;)
Well, that's a pretty good way of making sure a customer doesn't return, so if the case it isn't very smart...

To avoid special cleaning fees, just clean up after yourself (the special part).

Bring ozium! There are many ways to minimize vape odor, for example many hotels have jet-flush toilets that can be handy to exhale into while flushing. Personally I like to travel with one of these:

I've been combusting up non-smoking hotels since there have been non-smoking hotels. Never had an issue because I've used the grokit toilet paper approach (minus the toilet paper roller) with a one hitter and a outgoing vent. I just flush the toilet paper when done and sometimes I'd even sprinkle a little shampoo in the sink or tub and then hit it with a blast of hot steamy water afterwards to add some expected smell to the mix. This was before finding out about vapes. Now I don't worry about it.

I was recently visiting Savannah and we Solo'd the crap out of the hotel and the most I was willing to do was sprinkle a little cologne around when leaving the room. The cologne was just a paranoid, unnecessary extra to me. So it was Solo in the room and out to the bars to party with a newly filled MFLB.

I have a very sensitive sniffer for a guy...(Supposedly ladies have a heightened sense of smell compared to men) and have walked into the master bathroom while the wife was going solo with the Solo or right after she did and.... I engaged my super sniffer .... didn't smell anything to worry about.

I'm not sure I'd be as comfortable with a conduction vape like the MFLB because they seem to smell a teeny tiny bit more but even then compared to the old combustion days I'd be comfortable with exhaling into a towel and calling it good.

Vaporizers are the best things invented especially when staying at a hotel. Life was more difficult when it came to using cannabis before. That smell always gave you away. Of course there is a smell but nothing like the combusting days. Coming up on 2 years being combustion free.

Just burning a candle in the room helps or a little ozone citrus stray is all you need.

Maybe it's just me, but blowing into a toilet paper roll doesn't sound like much fun to me. I like to see the clouds. Personally, out of respect for the hotel, I would never combust in a non smoking room. However, with vapor I don't see the harm. Unlike vapor, smoke can have a lingering smell in the room, the draperies and bedding. Moreover, from my experience the vapor smell diminishes quite quickly and with a spray or two of cologne or perfume it's virtually undetectable after an hour or so. I've never had a problem with vaping in a hotel.

Fond memories of puffing a finely rolled one through the cracked bathroom window in a small hotel. Perfect way to unwind after a sweet day of shredding! Even better now with vaporizers - they work way better on the hill, and no lighters.

My dear friend has not so fond memories of the other driver not wanting to hand off the route at the bus but rather inside the company paid shared motel room where the cold winter wind had not sucked smell out from inside the room, cold cracked door exhales.
The driver said, "It smells like grass in here", and my friend answered, "Odd, I didn't smell l that before".

It is reported that there was no fall out from this other than that scattered to the wind and the retreating road behind the driver's window. I have heard tales of many such and sundry adventures, quite various but for the common thread of my friend's presents (sic).

just so you guys know. .. there are new detectors that use a laser and a mirror. if anything comes between the beam and mirror it will go off. this means dust, smoke, vape, what ever. cruise ships are notorious for using these. vape will set them off, even blown in an opposite direction. also be very careful when applying the showercap/bag trick. if even a corner of that bag gets hit by the laser, it's going to go off. I found out the hard way. first time I covered the alarm. boom instant security. then we said fuck it and hit the pen with the shower on. boom instant security. be careful out there.

I work away and usually share a hotel with work mate, I am the only weed smoker but they all smoke ciggies. I used to always smoke on the balcony and try to do it with them so the smell was masked, it was not too risky but I do feel much more comfortable now I have a vaporizer. Employer and colleges all know of my smoking and do not mind me vaping in the work hotel. Never had an issue with smell, I find I am ignorant to the strength of smell with burning MJ. A lot of the time I believe it hardly smells (especially when smoking a mixed spliff) yet most other non MJ smokers pick it straight away. Vapes take out all this risk and guess work, knowing what I know now if I decided to switch back to mostly combustion (hypothetical of course) I'd still own a vape for the sole purpose of using in hotels!

I vape in hotels all the time, blowing huge clouds into the room all night. I own a couple of those smokebuddies, but I stopped using them after I stopped combusting. I just don't see the need to be that stealthy with a vaporizer. It does take a couple of hours to clear out the smell 100% if I blow clouds into a room though. If I try to be extra stealthy, probably about 20-30 minutes.

Actually, the last time I was in a hotel I had one of the trippiest highs I've had since I started partaking in cannabis. Must have been the combination of driving for 9 hours straight and hitting a new indica strain I just picked up after having vaped sativa for the previous month.

Just returned from a trip to Vail, CO and stayed in one of the nicer resorts. They had a sign on the balcony door indicating that smoking on the balcony was not allowed and subject to a fine. Not an issue for me, as I had a full inventory of various edibles to choose from.

It said "no smoking" vaporizing isn't smoking. I have vaporized in hotels many times without any problems. Just make sure your cannabis is in a container that doesn't smell if you are in a non legal state. Just open a window. If you are really paranoid :uhh: use an oil defuser.

If you're ever worried, look into c-juice, this stuff has such minimal odor. I can medicate discreetly anywhere.

With rosin tech anyone can make c-juice at home with a few inexpensive supplies.

i get vaked and hit vongs is it so wrong?
I vape every hotel I go to. But if your worries when we use to combust in hotels years back we would place a towel on the floor against the door and than use the bathroom exhaust van to suck up the smoke

Some friends were able to trigger a smoke detector by exhaling ejuice directly onto it, just as an FYI
